Supermercado Puebla isn't huge. In fact, it's on the small side, but what it lacks in square footage it makes up for in fully stocked shelves. There's seldom open shelf space, and while it may seem cramped and the aisles can be a little tight, it makes sense and everything is logically arranged. The meat counter in the back is a constant hub of activity, with 3 or 4 people cutting, packaging, and seasoning meats. The produce area is my favorite of the store, stocking fresh everyday veggies as well as Mexican veggies. And, hand to god, the best jalapeños I can find in town. Seriously THE BEST! Mexican is very much the prominent language here (expectedly), but for the most part the staff will do their best to help you find something or answer any questions. It is slightly larger than a circle k that has a variety of food and accessories for everyday living. Everything is in Spanish and some labels have English on them too. Found a nectarine right away, but it took while to find a drink b/c the sugar content was very high. Finally found some Gatorade. The floors needed a mopping and couldn't miss the fly's around the 2 liter soda behind the cashier's station. The price was reasonable and kept me on my diet.
