I booked my appointment online. It was pretty simple to use but for some reason it couldn't find my insurance information. Nonetheless, I was able to book my appointment. There were a lot of appointments available as well just none in Brandon. The website shows you which cities have availability, so I advise being flexible if no COVID appoints are available in your city or town. Luckily, this location is only 15-20 mins away from Brandon. When I arrived, there is signage everyone instructing you what to do. If you have COVID testing, stay in your car and drive to the pharmacy. If you have a COVID vaccination appointment, go inside the store. You have to check-in on the text message link they send you just prior to your appointment. Then they give you your vaccination card and direct you to a certain portion of the store. I wore short sleeves and had drunk the 16 ounces of water that was mentioned in my appointment confirmation email. I sat down in the chair and probably within 2-3 minutes the shot was over. The lady who did the injection was personable and kind and even tried to chat through the short experience. I know this can be nice for people who don't like needles or getting shots as it's sort of a distraction. Then you move on to the chairs they have lined up down one aisle and you wait for 15 minutes. There was a staff member walking the aisle just to make sure you were doing okay and didn't have a reaction. Then you take you vaccination card and coupon for 20% off a purchase and "I got vaccinated" sticker and leave. It's very simple and easy. I just wish they had appointments closer to my house. I also thought that there was too much signage. Signs stuck in the grass, signs on the front door, signs taped to the columns in front of the store and the light poles. Too much signage can sometimes be confusing.

The pharmacy is now clean, hardly has a wait, the correct prescriptions ready on time.... I realize this is something you think is bare minimum but in the past I'd never had all 4 of my Rx ready same day even when I got alerts saying they're rre ready and filled, once I had the same medication in 2 bottles with different labels so missing the other medication, long wait times and horrific staff attitude I used to trade errands with my husband and have him pick up for me it was so painful to come and now its 10% different. It's an easy and pleasant experience. Funny enough the pharmacy has become wonderful and the overall store experience outside the pharmacy has gone down some. Exploded sodas with soda mist and liquid in the refrigerators, about 70% of thing stocked in the right place or stocked at all behind the new digital doors over for drinks and frozen sections a lot of the store just seems to have empty shelves (not sure if they just just selling out fast all the time or just not getting inventory to the floor) and typically has a 5-10 minute wait at the front checkout if you want something extra. However my reason I go here I for the pharmacy only, I don't stop by here when I need anything else outside of my pickups so bc of those visits being radically different so on the rare occasion I do get other things at the front I just know I need to plan for an additional 15 minutes at the front to checkout ‍ Thank you pharmacy team- super appreciative of it being an easier, friendlier and super efficient and pleasant experience.

I am forced to use Walgreens for my scripts due to my insurance, otherwise I would be going elsewhere. I am baffled at how slow employees are allowed to work, show absolutely no care and give attitude to anyone who dares expect their perscriptions within a timely manner. It has never been a great store, I am surprised this one is still open. This pharmacy really does not take the responsibility for people's medicine that helps keep them alive seriously. My prescriptions are constantly not ready when they say they will be even when I call and check before I come to pick them up. I am here now and my prescription I called about 2 days ago for the 2nd time still isn't ready. when I asked how quick it could be ready Sydney said 15 mins and when I go to walk away she said an hour and I asked is it an hour or 15 mins and the tech's response was "the longer I have a discourse with you the longer it will take" I'm sorry excuse me, this is the 3rd time I've tried to pick up this prescription. then she said it's in a timed delay safe. She just kept coming up with excuses, until I finally asked her to check with the pharmacist and then all of sudden no time delayed safe came into play and they are filling it now. It was filled in less than 5 mins and when I was called back up Sydney did not apologize for the inconvenience or confusion, just said "driver's license" , wouldn't even hand my my id back to me or my receipt and just walked away even after I said thank you. Whether I'm picking up a prescription or browsing the aisles, the employees are polite, helpful, and make the experience quick and easy. On my latest visit, I wasn't even shopping for anything specific, but I spotted two coffee mugs on sale in my favorite color, green! Even better, I was able to use my Walgreens Rewards, and both mugs ended up costing me just $4. I love finding little unexpected deals like that. Between the easy prescription pickup, kind staff, and great sales, this Walgreens is always worth the stop.
