If you do curbside show up early someone is always parked in the pickup spots doing regular shopping inconsiderate you know what's While picking up.your curbside check your bags I go back to many times to get the rest of my bags I don't understand the put 1 of 9 on the bags and give you 6 do they not give math test there?? Customer service is always nice & brings my bags back out after I drive all the way back up there but come on now Employees in this one are at least nice & helpful. All of Publix's cut fruit and some of their other produce items are soaked in some perfume-y chemical which is disturbing. You can taste it very strongly on their cut watermelon and grapes. We started going to other stores because we have no idea what it is. Certainly doesn't taste healthy or natural. No point in calling them - the produce manager says the products are cut and packaged at a separate main warehouse. So basically, they do not own up to the problem, possibly a health issue, and they passed the buck. read more

Floridians have no idea how fortunate they are to have so many Publix stores in their area. We have a few in Charlotte now and they're so good that they're forcing other grocery stores to up their game. Publix subs are the best, though I haven't had one in a bit (no carbs) but I buy them for my wife and she loves them. Fresh bread, Boar's Head meats and cheeses. Simply delicious and made to order. The rest of the deli is fabulous though it's starting to get a bit more expensive these days. This store has a bright and clean produce section, all neatly stacked and with prices clearly displayed. Fresh meats and fish, lots of frozen. Several aisles of grocery and home goods, all of it neatly leveled and well displayed. Prices are a little higher at Publix but you're paying for an improved shopping experience in a store that is bright and clean with associates that do seem to want to help. This shopping plaza is a little quick as people zip past the Publix to get to Target. They're supposed to stop for pedestrians but I have seen some who did not. Be aware! I can leave a thousand reviews about Publix and every review just all end up the same. Like Target, this is a business where every experience you have is going to be the same experience that's what keep people coming back. One of the workers told us that we had to come as soon as they open just to get tissue and napkins but thankfully Walmart has been doing a good job with keeping theirs stocked. The employees are always very helpful, the store is always easy to navigate around but not lately because it seems everyone now shops here since this virus thing has been going around which is crazy but what ever. That manager Katie was the worst employee I've ever felt with in my 25+ years of shopping at Publix! Although this location has a wonderful selection being such a large store her rude guest service will keep me away from ever shopping here again. The assistant manager and lead rule at customer service were polite. With hope Katie will one day be demoted and one of these other employees will get the opportunity to be the store manager for their representation of how a Publix experience should be was well on point, unlike Katie's nasty attitude and even after her disgust service she did one of those "I don't give a crap haha" kind of smiles and walked away. Great selection!! but the reason for 4/5 is that often times our vegetables and fruits are bad (eggplants) and we had to throw out a few times. I appreciate finding kosher milk and eggs and staples that you can't find elsewhere and it's not the long shelf life kind - instead organic good kind. My only request is to carry challah and or frozen kosher meat for us Jews and folks who like to eat healthy even if it's special order. That would be AWESOME, please :-). read more

Well, this is probably one of the best Publix locations I've shopped. The Pharmacy and Greenwise section is well stocked and you can rely on good customer service. The deli is impressive with an image that reminds me of some very good restaurants not reflective of any in Cape Coral. I'm a cheese lover, so the selection is better than what I've noticed at other Publix locations. Wish they would improve on this aspect. I'm tired of traveling through Bonita Springs traffic to find something different. read more

This Publix has a very different feel than all of the others -- it has been set-up with a farmer's market theme. I was entranced by the difference. Usually I will see 3 or 4 different designs based solely on how old the store is. I like that this one is different. It was late at night when I visited and the store was about 15 minutes until closing. All I wanted was a sandwich. At the deli counter I was a tad sad due to the fact that they had already shut down all of the machinery. The lady behind the counter saw me and asked what I was looking to get. When she heard I wanted a steak and cheese, she said, "No problem," and messed what she had just cleaned. I have never been to a Publix before or after this occurrence where the deli has reopened after closing. I really like this Publix. read more

Soon after moving we learned that there were distinct disadvantages in shopping for groceries and supplies in SW Florida versus (Indiana) the Crossroads of America. Prior to our home purchase here in Cape Coral we lived in an apartment in Ft. Myers. Over the six months we lived there, I became accustomed to shopping at multiple stores a week because supply and variety was limited at each. Despite exploring many stores, this held true. We were happy to discover this Publix has superior selection to other stores in the area. We've found it to be clean, bright and well-stocked. It still doesn't have the variety and selection we enjoyed in Indiana but it is well above average for SW Florida. read more

I've been shopping at this Publix since it opened. It's very clean, and there is no odor. Sometimes I've entered a grocery store and immediately been accosted by the smell of fish or rotted vegetables. The staff is accommodating and very friendly. There is a huge area of natural food and also a British and German section. The bakery is fantastic. One afternoon I was leaving the store with my cart when a tremendous thunderstorm hit. There was a rather large group of people "waiting it out" and a member of the staff came by, offering us cookies from the bakery. Kudos to the managers of this store. read more

If you want fried chicken from their deli you are out of luck, especially if you want the 8 pc all dark meat box. They absolutely refuse to make it, even though it's on their menu, because the lazy entitled women in their deli don't want to do that. I've spoken to 3 of their managers now, and emailed Publix Corporate, and not even Corporate can get those women to make what's on their menu! I'm all done with Publix. why is this even listed in farmers markets? This is not a farmers market, it's a grocery store. Personally I am not a great fan of this franchise. Some (many) items are more expensive than any other store. Very few choices as far as brands go, especially international. Maybe I am spoiled by other NE markets, but this definitely does not qualify as a "farmers market", huge difference, buying from a "real" local farmer and from a grocery store. OK....I'm from Michigan and we have been down here the month of March and this grocery store change just blows me away! We have been in a few stores and their customer service is out of this world! EVERY person we encounter (asking questions of where items were etc) were so nice and literally walked us to where the item was. The checkout personnel were also so nice! In addition, the stores were super clean, offered as wonderful variety, including an awesome bakery and flower department! They apparently are "employee owned", which obviously makes a HUGE difference. Keep up the fantastic work Publix! read more
