As a grocery store, it's convenient. It doesn't have everything but I don't expect it to have that much of an ethic variety, it does have an aisle though so that's something. I recommend avoiding school hours as the pickup lane can get pretty long and goes into the parking lot and street. Makes driving through that area a bit of a headache. read more

The interior is a little old, but I had to pick up a few catering platters from here, and it was a great experience. It's easy to order online, they call to confirm, and then picking up and paying was a breeze. The staff was friendly in the bakery, deli, and at checkout. Platters were great and as pictures. The deli at this Publix is remarkably bad. I've lost hours of my life waiting in line, getting no assistance, or asking them to correct my sub order. So many employees seem to genuinely not care about the speed or accuracy to which they work. There is no sense of urgency or a desire to do things the right way it seems. If you order a sub on line you're pretty much guaranteed it will not be accurate to your order or it will be 20 min late. I am not sure why this publix's standards seem to be so low. But their prices keep going up, and the quality of service keeps going down. read more

Almost 3 decades ago, I loved off this road- so I was happy when they built a Publix in this area. US 19 is the main thoroughfare and this store is on the corner of US 19 and Sunray- right next to an elementary school and very accessible from either road. The store itself is clean, stocked and staff welcoming and helpful. We were there for Pub-subs, and our deli worker (I never saw his name tag) was outstanding. My daughter said she could see his smile and enthusiasm in his eyes- because his face mask covered the actual smile. He was really above and beyond in the service department! We ordered to subs and grabbed a couple other goodies and were out pretty quickly. Publix is my go to for grocery stores- especially where my family lives. I just had the best experience at this location. The overall cleanliness and atmosphere are top notch. I had the most helpful employees in the deli both Marie and her manager Shawn were kind, helpful and prompt. I truly appreciate them going the extra mile and completing a large order for me. The employees and manager in the aisles were all helpful and pleasant. The cashier Lindsey and Lenny were also in great spirits. I've always had great experiences at Publix, but this one was something out of a hallmark movie. Everyone seemed to be elated to be there and happy to help which ever customers they were with. I frequent Publix locations at least once a week and I have never had such an amazing experience especially during a lunch rush. read more

There's a Publix three miles up the road north of this one. I suggest if you want a pub sub skip this Publix. I just went to this one and they were very low on the bread I wanted. There were only two left and they were the size of large breadsticks. I guess they have to account for all the loaves. I asked the person making the sandwich about it and she just lied and said they're always that size. I'm not dumb and I go there a lot so I showed her the other bread in a different bin and they were normal size. Don't try and give me the food no one else wants. Ok? So I just said never mind, walked away and was laughed at by a few deli people behind the counter. That just made my day. Just go to any other Publix if you want a deli sub. read more

I am extremely disappointed with Publix for falsely advertising the store having items restocked daily. The premium prices are normally equated to quality and availability. Unfortunately half of the items advertised as available were not available for my instacart shopper to purchase. And this was at 8-9am shortly after opening. The Instacart shopper was excellent and not responsible for Publix false advertisement. I do 90% of my shopping at Publix because the stores are clean, organized, great selection and high quality products. Publix supermarkets can be quite different. If you eat certain brands of cereal, many only carry 2 varieties & not the entire like. Like a certain flavor of ice cream, get to know your manager & see if they will order it. This downsizing happens in all departments, unless you shop at a supervised Publix. Overall I enjoy Publix, but their individual products can mean going to the store down the street or one 10 miles away. What's a girl to do? Certain brands become essentials. read more

I've had bad experiences in the past but gave this location another shot tonight, and I must say it was a completely different experience than i had the last 4 or 5 times. Staff were all much friendlier and very efficient. Cassie at the register was very pleasant and quick. Susan in the deli is funny, nice, and makes a mean sandwich. Pros: Customer service getting much better. Good wine selection. Great subs. Cons: Can be slow at times, but getting better. read more

It pains me to write this, it really does. But for the most part, the store is quite lovely. It's mostly clean. Mostly neat, and the employees are happy to help. And then we get to talk about the 2 sore points of the store. 1. the Bakery. I wanted a loaf of bread sliced. Usually that's met with a "Sure, did you want that thin or regular sliced?" But here, it was met by a "Isn't there one already out there?" Since I'd heard the associate tell the other customer before me that there was one out there sliced, I looked, and when she snapped at me for that, I looked -again-. "Nope." and handed her the bread. Clearly, I was interrupting her standing at the counter. I'm not sure what she was doing, but ... *shrug* Rather than ask if I wanted it thin, she said "That'll be regular, right?" "Sure." When the slicing of the bread was done, she handed it back to me. "Have a good day." No inquiry of "Did you need anything else" nothing other than a cursory ending. and perhaps the worst: 2 Produce. Much of produce is nice, it's neat, but they have these Packaged tomatoes and some peppers. I'm not sure how old they are, or even why they're like this, but someone is not doing their job. Many of the pre-packaged items were mold ridden. When I noticed this, I asked a stocker if there was a produce Manager around. Apparently they were at some Award's meeting or some such, so the stock clerk called for someone to help me. A young man came out and I showed him what I found. There was no apology only a .. "Oh.. well, let me pull those." and he did, Which is good, but I wonder how they got that way in the first part. I know now that I won't use this store for fresh produce in the future, because I can't trust them for good turn over. Horrible experience!!!! Shopping is not the pleasure. Employees complaining about Covid. You can tell they are hourly employees by how slow they move. Lack of help. The cashier was complaining to me about her manger. So unprofessional. I asked to speak to the manger and I was told he wasn't there. Wow's in change. Our shift manager. Went to the publix in sunray plaza of 19 north this hot afternoon get a sanwich and some stuff while waiting for my sub there was an asian lady maybe Philippino rushing pulling hot chikens of rotiseries putting them right into the plastic containers they come in.A tall hairless nervous manager went up to the coubter sees her busy pulling chikens and calls her by name a bit loud id say and tells her she needs to hurry up and fill the display with chikens .for 5 oclock rush ..reminded me of my mother sticking her head in the bathroom seeing me coming my hair and telling me to comb my hair .funny but not funny for the lady trying her best and still getting yelled at like she was just standing around doing nothing !! Went away and came back and told a young guy to help her .everytime he went to do something he had to ask her .dint know anything you know one those guys always walking around like hes doing something but never is !! Its always the hard working people that get that bet that young man all make manager soon get a raise and everything .things havent changed much !! read more

I typically only go to this grocery if my boyfriend asks me to. I sincerely hate how expensive it is. On the other hand, they have tons of new and interesting foods to try. On this particular visit, I had to listen to two cashiers babble on about how they hated each other when they started at Publix. I told the cashier that I had a coupon and she acknowledged me and went right back to yapping. She forgot to scan the coupon. I didn't say anything since I think it's pointless to complain to management at "revolving door" companies. The other cashier took my receipt to Customer Service and was able to get it adjusted for me. That's the only reason why this visit even earned three stars. Piece of advice: Stop talking and focus on customers. read more

This is one of the smallest Publix locations I've ever been in. While I'm normally a big fan of Publix, I only stop at this location if I absolutely have to. The layout is extremely confusing and unlike how most stores are designed. The selection of products is extremely limited. There is no pharmacy or florist at this location either. Thankfully, they do have a full deli including a soup bar and online ordering so I can still pick up my Pub subs no problem. Lastly, this location closes an hour earlier than other nearby Publix stores despite all of the complaints from locals. The service here is Publix quality and the staff is always nice. If they expanded into the empty storefronts next door a lot of these problems would be fixed. read more

Don't order online I placed a order online and my order wasn't made. I got to store and had to wait in line to find out they didn't get my order. They told me that their online system wasn't working yet their was an order in a pick up bin and a online order being made ahead of mine . Don't waste your time trying to order online . I just moved from St. Louis about two weeks ago. I find this Publix Store to be above average in many ways: the quality of their Deli, the outstanding handmade sandwiches, the helpfulness of their staff, the cleanliness of the store, the selection of products including organic, their very competitive pricing and the special two for one pricing. I like Publix and visit this store frequently during the week. I would recommend to anyone to visit this store and experience the many ways they could also enjoy shopping here. Pricing is always a concern for shoppers. However, I have found that Publix even beats Walgreens in their pricing. I bought an electrical socket at Walgreens for $3.50 and found the exact same item for a $1.50 at this Publix. I returned the Walgreens item. I have since made up my mind to shop for any non-food items at Publix first. read more

I go here alot because it's next to my bfs house. But idk if we are going back esp to the deli. We went almost every week and ordered the flatbread pizzas. There are always a million people working there but most of them do nothing. Always recent hires teens that dont know anything. At least three times they forget our orders. They are NEVER premade... I can understand if once in awhile if not cuz they run out... but it's allllllllllllllll the time so it takes forever. They don't know how to make them.... Always asking others and us how it's made. One time the girl (she was young) was asking all the stuff that should be on sandwich..... when I told her a million times it was a flatbread pizza.... and she had no idea what I was talking about. The last time I was there my bf ordered mojo pork flatbread... 10 mins later of worker doing 'something' she said they didn't have stuff for Buffalo chicken flatbread. But we ordered mojo pork... but they didn't even have any of that. Prob 15 mins wasted esp since we were in a rush. We were looking at the chicken display and other and alot of things missing.. what was in there looked old. But that time the inspectors were there.. hopefully they weren't impressed and will have to work and be better. Until then, another publix for the deli. read more
