Super clean location, and well organized. Everything easy to find. Prices are in between walmart and publix, and probably closer to the Publix side. They do have some good BOGOs, so much like Publix....shop those and your pricing won't be that bad. Pay rack rate and you may get some sticker shock when you hit the register. read more

This store is not that old, this not the usual, old type feeling. Everything laid out the same & easy to find These days you have to search for the sales, but you can find them. There was a BOGO in frozen foods & I asked if there were more in the back. The man assisting me knew there were & happily retrieved them for me. Gotta love people like that. No problems, except grocery bill always way over what I anticipate. I would recommend to all. What's a girl to do? Stop, shop sales & only get what you need. read more

I'm lowering my rating to minus 10 stars. Good Market and very handy. Unfortunately I injured my foot, so I decided to use one of their five (count them, five) electric carts so I wouldn't have to use a cane and lean on the regular cart. Well... not one of the carts (tried all five) NOT ONE of the carts had a charge. I had to do the shopping on the cane and leaning on the cart. Very VERY painful. I guess I'll be going to Walmart (an extra mile or two further) to do the shopping. Thanks a lot Winn-Dixie.. Again minus 10 starts, thank-you very very much. At least Walmart makes the effort to charge their carts. read more

This is a very clean store and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I only gave it 3 stars because every time I've shopped there they have been out of their sale items. They had no flower bouquets on Mother's Day. Other stores had plenty of them. read more

Ok. I'm surprised. I haven't been in a Winn Dixie for years, because the last time I was, they were crappy. This Winn Dixie is a former Kash N'Karry so they're large, with a good lay out. A huge produce section and bakery all at the front of the store. Since it was my first time in, I wasn't used to the lay out but I found exactly what I wanted pretty easily. Check out was a breeze and the cashier was really very friendly. I did notice that their prices were higher than Publix on MANY items. And honestly, that surprised me. read more

I love my Tarpon Winn-Dixie and it's my go-to supermarket but those new speed bumps are axle busters even at an almost dead stop. I like this Winn Dixie because it is very close to home and they stock 2 items that I can not get at Publix, Walmart, ect. The first item is at their deli counter. It's called Lebanon bologna as it is made in Lebanon Pennsylvania. It tastes like Hickory Farms summer sausage and sells for about $8.00 per pound. The other item is fresh Winn Dixie beer bratwurst and this sells for about $6.00 for two pounds. I think this bratwurst is the best that I have ever tasted. The people who work at this location are very friendly and helpful. read more

There are more cons then pros for this store. I think I liked it better when it was a SweetBay. I often go to this store and can not find many items. I rather find everything at one store then have to go to several other stores. I have tried to order certain items but nothing becomes of it. I see Winn-Dixie ads and can't find the item and are told this store doesn't have it. The prices are crazy high. It's cheaper for me to buy a 1lb of lunch meat at Walmart down the street then to buy it at this store. Winn-Dixie sells a 1lb of lunch meat for almost $9 when Walmart sells the same exact brand and size for $5. The pros: I love being able to buy a 5 pound block of feta cheese from the deli counter. I like the Greek signs on the doors. I like the location. I like the Greek food aisle I like all of the Organic foods, drinks and candy offered. I love the Winn Dixie Greek yogurt. I love their veggie/fruit section. They have a much better quality then Walmart. I prefer to shop at Publix in Tarpon Springs but they don't offer a gas discount program. read more

Their cashiers seem to always be polite and friendly so that's nice. Also, I've noticed that their prices seem to be much higher than other stores in the area. This is the closest grocery store to us so we go here most often. It is easy to get to from the road and the parking lot is large so there isn't an issue finding a spot. They could work on the cart returns though as many people leave them randomly throughout the lot. Of course some people will do this even if there is a cart return nearby because they are too lazy to walk 20 feet. We love that there is anti bad wipes near the carts so you can sanitize your cart. The prices are decent and make sure to get a Winn Dixie card at customer service if you don't have one already. It will save you $ and will also give you rewards such as fuel saver points. The store is large enough and clean. Staff were friendly on this trip. Prices are decent (much better than it's sister Public down the street which costs much much more.) They only had select products so you may need to stop here first and then go elsewhere to get the other items you want. Love this store. Will return. B+ because of the cart issue. read more

Bought snow crabs at Winn Dixie. Cleaned them for a special occasion only to learn that they were bad. The store refused to refund my money "due to COVID". This poor service is not acceptable. They don't stand by their product. I will not shop there again read more

Winn Dixie has a great selection of groceries in a spacious setting. This newer store seems to have more space than the previous one nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also love the gas perks. It never hurts to save. read more

"Angie." Customer service desk cashier at the Tarpon Springs store, #2531. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have received in a LONG time. Angie was helping a woman with lotto this morning at around 10:20 am when I got to the counter. Store mgr. was also there, but left soon after. I stood behind the only customer for about five minutes while they went on and on and on and on about lotto, Angie'snew contacts, how she doesn't want lasik, blah blah blah. All well and good, engaging the customer and making her feel special. They obviously knew each other. I wish I had gotten similar service, but not even close... While I stood there, a line formed behind me. Angie moved the transaction over to the lotto register from where she stood at the counter, and then once she was done with that customer, proceeded to ring up the man behind me, much to my shock and awe. Now, I was not standing far away. I was IMMEDIATELY behind the chatty customer, and the man who she skipped me for was behind me. When I spoke up and asked, "Do I have to purchase a lotto ticket to get service??" Angie looked at me and said "The line forms here!" in an extremely non-apologetic manner. I informed her that I WAS THE LINE for five minutes before that gentleman ever even arrived, and was met with a blank stare, then a dismissive "Well I'm sorry..." from Angie. Let me be clear. I WANT to give you my business, WD! I LIKE the fuel perks. I don't want to drive farther to go to Publix, but the fact is that while you may have cleaned up the store and made it fresher in appearance, it's an empty promise when you have people who are dismissive, cold, and COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF THEIR SURROUNDINGS and who have ZERO SENSE OF URGENCY like Angie. Publix has a knack for hiring or training their people better, and I'm willing to pay more and drive farther and give up my fuel perks over the way I was treated by Angie this morning to go to Publix where they are on the ball. That being said, I absolutely love the service I get from the young male cashier with the black hair at the same store, I believe his name is Nick? GREAT KID! He keeps me coming back, and it's because he is warm, welcoming, genuine and smiling every time I see him. I only needed something from the counter this trip, but I am so angry over the way I was treated, I probably won't be back to purchase groceries. I am not threatening you, but I am going to go to social media and spread the word about how unhappy I am. I work in guest service, and if I ever spoke to a guest the way Angie handled this one, I would expect some coaching and mentoring on great guest service coming soon, or maybe even disciplinary action... But I wouldn't ever treat a guest that way, so I guess that's why I am so upset. I am not trying to accomplish anything other than offering feedback so that you can continue to improve. If you want to compete with Publix, you need to get more amazing guest service oriented people like Nick on your team. As a side note, your deli is still not close to being on par with Publix, as the counter help seems totally untrained and unaware, and while the male store manager in store #2531 is personable and helpful, the female manager who was with Angie behind the counter is extremely unapproachable and seems about as warm as a robot in Antarctica. read more
