This location is still my go-to Publix. It's so close to 95 and so easy to get to from Lake Worth. It has a huge parking lot and is a huge, spacious store. I rarely ever have to wait at the deli to get slices meats and cheeses. I try to nab my favorite BOGOs on the items that I can't get anywhere else, and most recently I got the spices I needed- in glass containers- with a BOGO spice deal. Win! I also like to look at their greenwise meat and seafood options. I've recently been grabbing their cuban rolls, which are like a shorter sub roll, that my kids really love. In general, still enjoy the atmosphere of the shopping experience here. read more

Morning review on my Publix close yo work. It's PI Day and as a teacher, I need supplies for an activity! So I venture into this Publix for some Oreo Cookies. As I walked through the center entrance, there in front of my stood a basket of warm fresh French Bread. If it weren't craving that before I walked in, I was definitely wanting it when I picked it up. In the basket were tubs of garlic spread and everything toppings. So, the Bakery marketing worked on their first customer through the door!! I grabbed a list and some spread. Went straight to the cookie aisle and saw Oreos on sale. Grabbed 2 and went to checkout. The entire morning visit was quick and efficient. At work, I tried the bread as my breakfast. Although, it was warm and crusty, it did not have the taste of a baguette. Ordered a roast beef sub with a few toppings and ground pepper, only to find out that everything was OVERLOADED with ground pepper.. thank a higher power that I had a large fountain drink because it was unbearable. Paid a little over 8 just to open the sub with ground pepper being the main thing I tasted throughout the whole thing. I live near this publix and am disappointed every time I use the deli. I order online for pick up because in person is SO slow. Today, they were out of tuna. They never called to inform me, so when I got there, I had to ask where is my sandwich. Oh, we're out of tuna. I asked if the seafood department had some and she said, "we don't do that". Don't do that??? Problem solve the tuna shortage in your department???? This is a supermarket with tuna and mayo in the GD aisles AND made in the seafood department. I grabbed the seafood tuna and brought it to the counter to which I said, I'll pay the extra...obviously (I'm pescaterian, so I don't eat cold cuts). Deli person, makes a veggie sub for me and I look at her and ask, are you going to put the tuna on the bread? She says, "you can do it." HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO PUT TUNA ON MY SANDWICH AT THE BEACH? Next time, I'll order from subway. The deli department is the worst, the women there didn't give a shit about customer service AT ALL. Here's the thing, I ordered a tuna sub 3 weeks ago from the west palm publix located on Southern Blvd and Parker, the woman called me to inform me they were out of tuna and again, I asked if seafood had it. She checked and called me back and said no, but there was seafood salad, she would charge me the same price and if I didn't like it, she would give me my money back. This is the worst Publix I have been to. I came in for a sandwich and as I walked in I noticed that this Publix was a bit dirty. I ordered the promotional sandwich and the person behind the counter gave me attitude because she didn't know how to make it. Then she gave me more attitude because she didn't know what cheese went on it. The only pleasurable part of this was the cheerful cashier and finally leaving this place. Will not return. read more

The pharmacy staff here is extremely rude, they hang up on you and like to play games, especially when it comes to putting you on hold , and they play god with your meds. This is the flagship Publix in south Florida. Big, clean and with the freshest stuff.

I am very sorry to have lower my rating since the last review. This was my all time favorite store. Since I wrote this they reduced their inventory, took out the coffee machine, installed a depressing cafe, removed the olive bar and transferred the outstanding manager. I am sadly paying through the nose at whole foods and trader joes. I am so disappointed! read more

Absolutely love this Publix. I'm a big fan of their subs, and the lady with the pink hair is ALWAYS a big help along with the jolly guy at the register (over by the bakery). Which, is where they also have a small dining area that's tables are always neatly set and clean! That. and it's never too packed. read more

Bad experience today and from customer service check out. They speak in Creole chatting making people wait in line while these two girls just chat up a storm in Creole not thinking about customers who are waiting, then have a bad attitude when they check you out. This store is all mostly Creole speaking who work here now and come here now and they treat all others poorly, they cannot even say thank you or speak in English in front of you. They are racist toward Americans. Now I know why only mostly Creole speaking come to this Publix. It is like the Wendy's now around here in our area, they only hire Creole speaking and then they treat their customers all badly and then wonder why no one wants to go there to eat any more and now they are going bankrupt.  I think Publix should not allow their employees to treat their customers so badly and not speak English in front of them, we don't understand Creole. It is offensive and bad education to do what they are allowing their employees to do here. We will not go back to this Publix location. Shopping used to be a pleasure at Publix, but no more. These Creole speaking treating us badly are going to ruin your business Publix, we won't be back. Train them better to say thank you and hello and to be kinder and not speak Creole in front of us among the employees. Bad experience today at this Publix, now we won't be back. These people cut you off and are loud and selfish and only think of themselves. You should make your online receipt survey in Creole too, since it is only in English and Spanish now, since you may only have to cater to the Creole speaking population soon.  Allow people to write comments too when they do the survey online for Publix from the receipt. I was having a love affair with this Publix until recently...I am still in love with it because of several things: 1.) happy super friendly young man who greets you at the check out by the deli during the lunch hours. 2.) super clean and organized store that is not too crowded. But like all that want to love and preserve forever at Publix...is tainted by something totally ridiculous. Today... I am just not expecting this BUT there is BLACK DIRT on the lettuce in my sandwich that I got ordered online at the deli. I am eating this going...'this is ...ummm...sand?" thinking NO WAY because this is Publix...but for real...opened it up and wiped grit off on to the napkin. I had two other experiences when ordering online... each time...I specify that I don't want the sandwich toasted....which also means don't put the cold sandwich on the 'warmer' bin it goes in the chiller bin to wait to be picked up. So annoying. I have ordered 4 times online and 50% of the time it has been the wrong size or put in the warmer...so you have a warm lettuce, tomato mess on top of your now lukewarm sandwich that should be cold. When they get it right this is an awesome service. Just walk in and get what you ordered and you are out of there in 3 seconds. With a 50% error rate and now DIRT... I am giving up. I just received the best costumer service that I have ever experienced. I was looking for chicken to make for dinner and a fellow named rauel (I butchered his name) selected a breast for me that was cost friendly and even offered to cut it up for me. Then I walked over the the vegetable section where a man named Louis went out of his way to find me some ripe avocados (in he back section) because all the ones on display weren't ripe. The manager saw that my hands were full and brought me over a cart. It followed me all the way to the cash register, where the young man and bag boy were smiling and cheerful and offered to bring my bags out to my car. I can't even understand how all of these nice gentleman were so kind to me. I really appreciate it and I can say, I will only be going to the publix on lantana and congress from now on. They are outstanding and I can't emphasize it enough! What an amazing crew! read more
