Not my preferred Publix location. The traffic entering and exiting the parking lot is congested. The navigation into the store is cluttered, as you have to walk past a series of checkout lines to reach the aisles. From there, you start in the middle of the store, so determining where to go for produce, meat products, baked goods, or frozen foods, for example, is challenging. If you're not familiar with the store, it takes a minute to figure out where you need to go for what you're seeking. Even if this Publix is closest to your home, I can't imagine shopping there consistently being an easy experience. Service is so so to where if you needed assistance, it was easier to try to figure out where to go and whether Publix had the product yourself. read more

There was nothing memorable about this place to warrant a great review. It's a basic supermarket. We had gone here to find aquaphor in the aisle where it should have been but it was placed in some random aisle so it took us twice as long of a trip. We did get what we went there for so not a total loss so I won't fault them for that. I feel like this place is more spread out that most grocery stores. There's more room in the aisle to pass other patrons shopping especially if you have a bunch of people with carts. read more

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities where Publix opens a location are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

I shop at this Publix more for convenience than any other reason. I'm not crazy about the layout at this location. It's extremely awkward. Additionally, the parking lot situation is for the birds! Focusing on the positive, the cashiers at the customer desk are consistently friendly and the lottery podium is always clean and well organized. read more

I came to this rather small very well kept Publix on my quick trip to Palm Beach. This Publix is on a rather busy shopping center. I was able to run in and buy some lotto tickets. It was calling me! But as I entered it was nice clean and airy... everything I want in an establishment that I purchase my food. The young man that helped me at the service counter was very quick and efficient. He seemed a bit shy when I spoke to him which was rather endearing! Any-who... hopefully I win the Powerball and ill be back for this blue eyed bashful gentleman! read more

Stopped by here on my way home to grab some fruit and vegetables and dinner and all I found was soggy salads, moldy broccoli, the fruit was browning. Sadly, I still bought a bad of red potatoes for dinner thinking they look fine and got home to find they were molding (potatoes don't mold over quickly...). I would never stop here for produce again. Obviously I came in from out of town so I can't speak to consistency, but I was impressed with this location when I stopped in for a quick grocery run on my trip. Very clean store, employees were relatively friendly, and items were pretty easy to find. I think the signage could have been a bit more clear, I spent a bit more time wandering through the aisles looking for my items than I would have liked--I just wanted a few things in a store I wasn't familiar with, this wasn't a trip where I planned on perusing the whole store. Probably the biggest problem with this location is the parking -- there are a LOT of stores in this little strip mall and not nearly enough parking spaces for everyone. read more

I love Publix but the ladies at the bakery are unfriendly. I greeted both of them and they looked at me like I wasn't supposed to be there. Made me wanna leave quickly. Then when I was using the self check out, I wasn't able to use my gift card because the employee didn't know how to price check the fireworks I bought. When I first came to Palm Beach Gardens, this was the only Publix in the area. In the past 14 years, three others were built nearby because of the population growth in the area. Publix has almost everything you would probably need from a large grocery store. Their selections of wine and beer are also wonderful if you are interested in one stop shopping. As far as I am concern, only the Publix Green Market is slightly more I interesting to me than all the others. read more

If I could give this Publix zero stars I would. This is absolutely the worst publix ivy ever been to. This Publix always gives me a hard time when exchanging or returning items. All the other Publix have no issue with returning or exchanging items. This Publix does not follow the customer satisfaction which is guaranteed behind their customer service area. It's sad that they don't have the customer satisfaction that all the other Publix's have. They're worse than Walmart. read more

This is a smaller older Publix cornering Pga and Military Trail. It is very clean and for both visits smiles were evident. Where they definitely won huge points for me was I had a return on my credit card but realized I left my wallet in Ft Lauderdale. Well the manager gave me the cash difference back and told me not to worry about that too!! I love managers who understand that rules are guidelines and you have to know when is when. This may be the worst grocery store that I've ever been to in my entire life. The deli department is a complete nightmare. You ask for a sandwich to be made and they tell you that they have no bread. Then they find some bread and tell you that they have no meat. They walk at the whopping rate of approximately less than 1 mph and have no urgency to anything that they do. If I could give this 0 stars I would. I will first preface this with Publix is my go to store due to the cleanliness and great customer service. We were visiting from out of town and stopped at this location for a few snacks. William or "Will" as his name tag stated, was our cashier and one of the rudest and unfriendliest cashiers I have ever had. My husband, who is not "white" greeted Will and he didn't say a word. When he finished ringing up our groceries he stood there waiting for my husband to insert his card to pay, by yet again not saying word. It was very evident that Will had a problem with my husband which is really a shame that this is what America has come to. Shame on this Publix location for employing this person and allowing such horrible Customer service. read more

I moved here from Southern California over a year ago. What I've found is that Publix has a monopoly out here; similar to the monopoly HEB has in TX. Quite honestly, this is just wrong. In CA, the large population drives competition to keep prices reasonable; thus, many grocery store chains to choose from. But out here, businesses are taking advantage of people and charging higher than normal prices; in particular, the current CEO of Publix. Since he took over, he has intentionally driven prices up out of greed. Here is an example of price gouging: Fresh local and/or Georgia peaches in season are sold for $2.99/lb. Then sometimes during mid-season the price might drop to $2.49/lb. And if you're lucky, maybe $1.99/lb for maybe one week. This is awful. Prices of peaches sold in SoCal are $0.99/lb during peak summer months. Same for apples year round. In SoCal, I can buy "lunchbox" size Gala apples for $.099/lb. but at Publix they are over $2-something a lb. If you want the smaller size apple instead of the huge size, you have to buy a pre-packaged bag of them. I never buy them. Additionally, the selection of goods is limited in produce and sometimes in other areas. Also, the produce is not always the best (e.g. their bug-infested, brown-edged green-leaf lettuce). They never sell large yellow onions....just the teenie tiny ones (the regular onions and not the sweet onions). One of Publix' tricks to get people to buy more food, maybe more than they need, is that they package vegetables; i.e. they'll take 3 large zucchinis and bundle them in shrink wrap packaging. The work-around? Rip open the package and take what you need. The cashier will ring it up per weight. So for the ultimate solution to this disservice to the public by Publix, shop Walmart (their produce is better than Publix and less expensive), and also Trader Joe's (everything is high quality and very good prices....and their milk stays fresher longer than any other place). Now when I grocery shop, the only time I need to go to Publix is for one or two items that I can't get at the other two stores. I've already written to Kroger. They are the best grocers in the US, and I've lived in several states. Produce selection is large and fresh, and prices very reasonable. I've asked them to consider moving into the SoFlo area. We need to stop this unethical behavior of Publix. Take note, Publix. You think you've got the market sewn up, but guess again. There are alternatives! read more

Proud to call this public, mine. The store is laid out very well. Easy to find things and great help always around the store if you need anything. With BOGO sales on commonly stocked items, we love coming here and have no problem spending more than we should. I'd like to make a commentary about the ignorance of people in general. Since I work 80+ hours per week and don't see my dog as much as I want (thanks to my partner who takes care of him when I can't the rest of the week). I took him on a trip to get groceries at Publix in Gardens Square. Just to be clear, key in the ignition, with air conditioning blasting, locked with a key I was able to bring with me. All to spend time with him on the weekend and take every crazy chance to make him comfortable. I was in Publix FOR LESS THAN 10 MINUTES, and came out to a black truck pulling out with a woman yelling obnoxious statements like, "don't leave your dog in the heat..." Cool. Got it. Didn't do that. The car was locked, air was on, and I clearly stated that, as she drove away passive aggressively. How about don't make blanket statements when you are clearly not fully versed on the situation and then drive away in a rush when I'm chasing after your car to educate you on the ignorance of your statement.
