Due to an unfortunate misunderstanding at Publix on Commerce Drive, my sandwich tray order was canceled due to lack of time. I then called Publix on Lower Fayetteville Road and they were more than happy to take my order on a short notice. So professional and pleasant on the phone and in person. I agree with comment that not all Publix stores in Newnan are equal; there are slight variances in quality of deli, bakery, produce and friendliness. In all Publix locations I've noticed the small in-house made salads switched from price by weight to standard price; however, the container now has less salad for the higher price. Do grocers and food manufacturers think consumers don't notice that we are getting less for more with these supposedly subtle changes in packaging? I am offended. My rating is based purely on the salad change. I continue to shop at Publix for quality products and great customer service... Publix has the friendliest and more personable employees, especially at the Lower Fayetteville store. read more

My son & i willllll Publix sandwich us anytime we can't figure out what to eat!! I get white bread, boars head honey maple turkey, white American cheese, spinach, green peppers, banana peppers, onions, mayo, the seasoning they use & then we add our own packets of vinegar & oil so that it is not soggy. Best sandwiches ever!! Especially on & after a boat day on the water or just a day we are hungry!! read more

I love Publix and I find it to be, by far, better than Kroger. However, today, I have to drop you a star in your rating. The grocery checkout clerk's attitude seemed like I was a burden to her or she could've cared less that I was even shopping there. No smile, no nothing. I spend my hard earned money here and I don't expect much from your employees other than just a pleasant attitude. I get that we all have "bad days" or we're dealing with things outside of work, but in the customer service industry you just have to "fake it until you make it" some days. If this employee was having that bad of a day, maybe call in and take a "mental day". We've ALL taken them. At the end of the day, I am a loyal Publix customer and I will continue shopping here. Publix has always been my go-to store, especially as a Vegan. The store is always so easy to navigate and the staff is friendly. The only thing is that they don't have a separate section for the vegan and vegetarian foods like Kroger. I like Publix better, but if I am in a hurry, I have to go to Kroger. I highly recommend Publix. read more

I'm not usually one to leave a bad review. I placed a catering order today and spoke with someone who was so extremely rude. The first thing she asked was, "were you not able to place this online?" I had placed another order in Columbus GA the day prior and the person who I spoke with was so helpful and even offered to have plates, cups, drinks and chips ready with the catering order as well. At this Publix in newnan I asked about the same service to which she responded, "you can pick that all up when you come in to pick the order you placed" This kind of service is not acceptable to me. Why would you have that kind of disrespect towards someone? I love Publix, and have grown up shopping here for years. It doesn't seem like their level of service. read more

The groceries are overpriced but I go to Publix to get an amazing Publix Sub! Their deli department makes the best subs! The only downside to this location is it doesn't have a dine in area to eat your food so you're forced to take it to go. Otherwise, great meal! read more

One thing that I love about Publix other than the big selection of groceries and friendly staff is the international section!! They have a large selection of international foods and goods which is really good!! It's nice to have a variety of foods from around the world and being British I even found good British tea! read more
