The market side is fantastic. There's this mix of fresh produce, grocery staples and fun finds like artisan butter. If I need an ingredient for dinner, they typically have it and it's a safe place I feel comfortable sending my kid to shop.

I did not look at their meat and seafood options, but I thought their selection for everything else was decent. I did notice there are a lot of Vietnamese items in the store, but I found things I needed to restock here. They have a small frozen section and grabbed a few items to try at home. Check out was pretty fast and even though the person at the register was not chatty, nor looked like he wanted to be there, I had a pleasant experience and would come back here.

Located in Decatur, this grocery store offers great parking in their massive lot so you never have to worry about finding a space. The market itself is pretty big, full of all the Caribbean ingredients and goodies you may need. We took our time walking through the various aisles and checking out the variety of options. Growing up where I did and with Caribbean family and friends, it wasn't my first time seeing most of the items as they kept up with the top brands and really touched every corner of buyers needs. I will say that some of the prices were way higher than expected and what I've seen at markets back in South Florida. BUT - with how inflations is, it should be expected lol. We visited on a Saturday and phew, it was busy!! When it was time to get in line, we tried to get a head start while the other straggler friends finished their shopping. Good thing we did! The checkout process did end up being a smooth one and the cashier was a doll. On our way out we stopped at the little booth near the door where a gentleman was selling various oils, jewelry, incense, etc. One of my friends visiting from Gainesville wanted to replace her bracelet showcasing the Jamaican flag and spent some time trash talking with them in patois, lol.
