Publix is one of the nicest grocery stores I have shopped at. The produce is beautiful and meat selection is great. The store is clean and easy to navigate. There was plenty of parking. The checkers were so nice and they bagged all the groceries. Overall great place to shop! read more

Publix is one of the by far most overpriced grocery stores I have shopped at. The produce is typically hit or miss as far as freshness and meat selection is not good and very expensive. Filet mignon, for example, was recently priced at $48 per pound!!! Really? The store is clean but far from easy to navigate due to all of the kiosks they place in the aisles to garner extra riches from the customers. There was plenty of parking but take care not to get run over by people who don't know the state law about pedestrians in walkways. The checkers, when present, were generally nice but seem not to know how to bag the groceries. Overall not a pleasure to shop! read more

Where to begin, this store has gone down hill that I avoid it at all costs even though I can walk to it. If I walk in and see Adam at the service desk I turn around and walk out. Never have I seen such piss poor customer service. Don't bother asking questions because they only work there and don't know anything. The manger needs to walk the store and fix the small problems before they fester. What a rip off! Unfortunately, since Publix has a monopoly in the state of Florida, they can charge whatever they want and believe me they do. Most recent example of shopping at their stores over the last few days were pickles. The brand that we want to purchase is a half sour pickles it's located by the cheese area, much to our surprise. One jar of these pickles is now $9.55 where we live we think it's high at $5.99 cream as an example for half gallon is priced at $6.15. Why not just simply go to Walmart or Winn-Dixie and get it for half the cost. Avoid Publix search alternatives and you'll save a lot of money. read more

Alexis in the bakery was a 1 woman show. Handling so many request by herself with such grace and kindness. She was considerate of everyone.

We love the Publix on Martin Hwy in Palm City. This store is always clean and well stocked. Johnny in the Deli-Chicken Department is always a pleasure to work with and he goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. Johnny is always pleasant and friendly. We need more Johnnys! read more

It's a smaller Publix but I always find what I need there. The staff are helpful & friendly. Everything is in stock and the store is clean. I can't forget to mention the music! They play the best music at Publix & you might see me dancing in one if the aisles! read more

Two separate times now I've been to the pharmacy and both times I have been heavily disappointed. The one time I went my medication was not ready then it took them an hour and a half to give me a box of medicine and a bottle of cough syrup. I've now tried it one more time disregarding the fact that I had a terrible experience my first time and I was surprised to see that I received the same type of service. I was once again told that my medication was not ready to be picked up and that it would take them an hour to get me another box of medicine. read more

Not sure how many negative reviews I can write for this location. It's convenient to my location and that's about all the positive I can say. The place is consistently out of stock on items and understaffed! I used to pay the premium for the customer service and selection however this location lacks both! Pharmacy is terrible, had my mom waiting for her medication ALL day because no one thought to call and tell her they didn't carry it so she could call her doctor and have it switched around, that was only brought up once we ARRIVED. 2/3 we're ready and 2 hours later we're waiting for the 3rd because there "backed up".. Nice Publix, similar to other ones in the area. They always want to help you take your purchases to your car, etc. People are friendly, selection is fine, etc. Only thing I didn't like was that the hours weren't that great. read more

Stopped off to get a sandwich and Maria (from the deli) "helped us". Right off the bat, she was annoyed that I asked for shaved ham. Instead of doing it herself, she asked another employee to do it. Mind you, it's Sunday afternoon and there's a long line waiting. Instead of doing it herself, she resumes with doing another order. Ten minutes later, she asked Alvin (another deli employee to do it). He was quick and brought back to her quickly. I then had to wait for her AGAIN to finish preparing my sandwich. Once again, she continued with her little attitude. Barely put any toppings on the sandwich. Seriously, if you don't feel like working, stay home. The manager too looked like she was in a bad mood. Always an amazing experience! It always impresses me how well of a job this facility does to accommodate the influx of all of the snowbirds! Never are they out of any particular item that I have ever looked for. Very friendly staff on a first name basis; feels like family to me! Fantastic deli! If you're in need of a sub you might as well make it boars head and eat superhealthy & eat Publix!! Hands-down better quality than any of the other local sub shops!! read more

The Publix BRAND, it's advertising message along w/ it's home spun commercials always hit home in a big way. In terms of overall shopping experience, I've alway been a big fan and prefer this grocer over all supermarket chains. Then why is it...on the days I least expect it... 1.) When I ask the butcher for prepared meatballs, instead of offering to get more, I get a stern lecture on using the meatloaf instead (even though the same (prepared) meatloaf ingredients are priced almost a dollar more per pound)? Why is that anyway? 2.) Shouldn't the designated employee taking special orders in the bakery have experience in taking special orders in the bakery? 3.) And finally, when you ask both the cashier & the bagger to kindly bag your frozen goods together in a brown bag to keep the ice cream from melting by the time you close your trunk and instead your bagged lettuce is sadly wilting nestled between a box of frozen Klondike bars, tomatoes, a slice of brie & a jar of pickles...why am I the one who has three heads when I patiently suggest they be separated (for obvious reasons)?! These examples are certainly not the "customer touchpoints" commercials or shopping excursions are made of. Somebody, send in the brand police before I make a citizen's arrest! Thank goodness for those employees who do take pride in delivering the brand promise and the experience with the "right stuff," like Jennifer who always aims to please in Customer Service, the engaging Braxton who works in the Dairy section and sweet Ellen who I will actually wait in line to check out with! That's what (and who) makes my shopping a pleasure...and why I'll return for this week's BOGO! It's a shame that on any given day your perception can be skewed by just a few employees that unfortunately aren't aligned with the company's core promise to it's customers.
