Publix is my first choice for buying groceries. The staff is genuinely nice and always willing to help when needed. The store is very clean and organized. I rely on the Publix App to shop for my groceries. The app is very easy to use and helps me navigate through the store quickly and effortlessly. I recently placed a large order for a gathering I hosted. The order was complete and ready at the time I requested. The sandwiches were delicious! The gathering was successful thanks to the hard work & dedication of the Publix staff who prepared the food. Everyone agreed that the food was excellent and made with high quality ingredients. I actually come to this Publix a lot and the associates are always friendly. The parking lot never has a lot of carts around everywhere it's always clean or being cleaned. The shelves are normally pretty full and it looks nice inside. The cake we ordered tastes good and Publix made it exactly how I wanted it for my daughter's birthday. I was worried it wouldn't be ready in time because her birthday is the day after Christmas but it was actually ready 2 hours before. I love this Publix and will visit again soon! read more

We have shopped at this Publix since moving to Sebring. Never had a problem with any of their products until the last time. I bought 5 Lbs of Russet Idaho potatoes and they were the worst potatoes i have ever had. They were rotten through the entire potato. Out of the 5Lb bag I was able to salvage Four. I went to their "contact us" form and it would lock up every time i attempted to enter the store location !! read more

I have shopped at Publix for years. The only problem I consistently encounter is the clerks and baggers will not bag milk unless specifically requested to do so. Placing unbagged milk in my car trunk then setting it in the refrigerator is unclean. Will this process ever change? This is the only grocery store that does not bag milk. Soooo, this is a tale of three pharmacies. Like most tales, you need some trials and tribulations before you get to the happy ending. Read on. I was extremely frustrated trying to get my Covid Moderna booster. Plan "A" was to go to one of two giant chain pharmacies that sit at an intersection at practically every city and town in the country. I made an appointment online and showed up 15 minutes early as requested and walked into chaos! My appointment meant nothing, and I was told a 90-minute wait, so I walked out in disgust! Plan "B" was to try the other giant pharmacy chain across the street. Once again, an online appointment and I show up 15 minutes early. Once again chaos and my appointment meant nothing! A friend suggested I try Publix as they seemed to have their act together so that became plan "C." For the third time I made an online appointment and showed up 15 minutes early. What a pleasant surprise! It was organized efficiency! They had my appointment and checked me off a list. I filled out a simple one-page form and was asked to take a seat. My name was called 3 minutes before my appointment time! Let me say that again. Three minutes before my appointment time! I quickly received my booster shot and was out the door. As I was returning to my car, I glanced at my watch, and it was 3 minutes after my appointment time! A five-star experience all the way! read more

Publix had become the leading supermarket in Florida and has since expanded throughout the southeastern United States. They became the leading supermarket by putting a strong emphasis on customer service. They bring the adage "the customer is always right" to new levels. Add to this fantastic BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and that alone makes for a winning combination. Add to this the iconic subs that they make in their deli (affectionately known as Pub Subs) and they become virtually unbeatable. These subs are pretty amazing. I usually go with their Italian sub or their roast beef. Both are excellent and I guess anything you would order at their deli counter would be a winner. I must say that I would definitely recommend this particular location or any Publix, for that matter. I choose to give it five stars for their steps in making sure a visit to a Publix is always a wonderful experience. read more

The Pharmacy at this store is the worst Publux Pharmacy I have ever ever been to. Correct that, it is the rudest, judgemental, exclusive pharmacy I have ever been to. These people will actually blame you for an Rx getting mixed up when you never even touch the prescription. This Publix is slightly larger than the other one that's a few miles south in Sebring. It also feels a bit newer. Brighter tiles, neater fixtures, etc. But other than that, it's the same excellent Publix shopping experience. Decent prices (maybe a little bit higher than Walmart), good grocery, excellent produce and a top notch frozen section. I don't live in Sebring, so my shops here have only been for snacks and beer and a sub, but wow, if I did live here, this would be my "go to" for shopping. read more

Always a pleasure to shop here. The store is always clean. The produce is fresh and the meats fresh. My only issue is that the staff isn't that friendly. They are not rude but no enthusiasm in their personality. When speaking with the butcher they lack passion for the craft. If one asked for a fresh cut of meat they always send you to the prepackaged items. This makes one feel uncomfortable to ask for fresh cuts. Other then that they would have gotten Five stars. read more

I was in Publix in a small town in FL. I bet only half of the customers had masks on. Seeing I care for Covid patients on a daily basis and also hate wearing a mask..... I was on a family trip, we wanted to enter a publix deli and we got very bad attention, a disgusting attention, I would never recommend anyone to go to that Dely. WORST PUBLIX IN THE STATE! Moved here from Ft. Myers 2 months ago. Always shopped Publix there. This is the worst managed store. Waiting in Deli while 3 employees talked in back room. Saw an employee from the Deli touch the garbage can and then slice meat without changing gloves. Asked another employee if they had a store manager and he said 'sometimes', and then went to the back. Neighbors say they just drive 13 miles to Avon Park or go to Winn-Dixie next door. Too bad cashiers are friendly, bakery is great. Shelves are not stocked and nobody will get it from the back. You can't have a raincheck if they have it in the back. I think one star is too generous. read more

Horribly managed deli & store (the pharmacy is an exception - 5 star operation there). It all comes down to uninspired employees, and a lack of effective management. The service is painfully slow, especially for sub sandwiches and prepared hot item selections. At dinner hour, they almost never have any hot food selections. Despite having several employees on duty, very seldom Is there more than one serving customers, with two operating speeds, dead slow & stop. This is not an isolated incident, but an ongoing problem. Don't waste your time going to the other Publix in town, they are even worse. I live for the day that Wawa opens a store in Sebring, and puts a serious and much needed hurting on Publix's bottom line. read more

Four days after hurricane Irma disrupted normal service, I stopped here hoping to pick up something from the deli for dinner. My husband wasn't feeling well and I'd put in a long day at work. Neither of us were looking forward to trying to create a meal with no power. Unfortunately, they weren't at all organized / stocked / ready for business. At the deli I realized that the names they were calling out weren't even the people in line with me. Apparently people called ahead, which was smart, but hey! How about addressing the people in line? I love my Publix store! I shop there weekly and do a lot of the "Buy One, Get One Free" items. They always seem to have plenty of these offers. But I am most impressed with the attitude of their employees. They are the friendliest, most helpful people I have found in any of our local stores. If you ask for help in finding something, they don't just tell you where it is, they take you to it. Many have been there for years, which tells you that they must like their job pretty well. read more
