My go-to baby Meatlovers, cooked to perfection!
    Steven B.

John, the owner of this fine establishment, crafts & bakes a Stromboli that will make your tastebuds sing with joy! If you like Boli, especially savory Meatlovers versions, this is the place for you! This is a one-topic review focusing solely on their Stromboli. For other aspects of the restaurant, please read my previous reviews. Pricing- There are almost 20 specialty pizzas on the menu here and of course you could build your own. So why am I talking about pies in a Boli review? Because Boli pricing is the same as the medium pizza price. So, I wanted a Meatlovers Boli, I found the Meatlovers pizza, and the medium was $15.49. Boom, that's the price of my Boli. Note- I'm addicted to black olives, so I always add them and that cost me about an extra buck or so. I ordered this bad boy to-go. Appearance- Check my pictures. This is what a well-made Boli should look like. Perfectly cooked crust and heavy with savory fillings. So many Stromboli's, when you cut into them are skimpy with the fillings, but not this bad boy! Just look at those fillings! Taste- Phenomenal! Just the perfect mix of meats, cheese, crust and of course the added zing of my black olives. Conclusion- Amazing taste, awesome value, and wonderful employees = 5 stars!

We also had Brunswick stew that my husband dreams about it is so good.Alana is a great guide to what is special . She brought us samples of soups so we could pick from the 8 fresh soups We went for breakfast today when it opened at 1000. I picked diced ham, green pepper, onion, mushrooms inside with cheddar cheese and sliced tomatoes on top....heaven!! Our smiling server kept our coffee filled. Love this retro place.!!

An average roadside restaurant with decent and large portioned food. We - 8 of us - stopped by after our first open water dive in the nearby Lake Denton. The pretty young waitress is very polite and able. I ordered 1/2 spicy steak sub on wheat. It's spicy and pretty yummy. The house Pinot Grigio is ok. All the sandwiches looked good and the mates said 'yummy' too.

It's a quirky little place that has a one-alley drive-through and a walk-up window and no dine-in. Why did I say alley? Because it looks like a one-alley oil lube place. So much so that to this day, folks drive through and ask how much is an oil change even though all they have is great food and a few sundries! I think it's partly related to their name! So how did they reinvent themselves? Up until about two years ago they were famous for selling case beer. You would pop your trunk and a guy would drop the case right in. You never had to get out of your car. For some reason they quit selling beer to focus on other things. Up until about a year ago they had great food but no fries and this was a major complaint they had to deal with. They fixed this and now they have huge portions of wonderful, glorious skin-on fries! So now you come here for fantastic breakfast sandwiches, great burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and fries. Of course, drinks. On my last visit I ordered a cheeseburger and fries @ $8.87. I'm embarrassed by the picture as there was a huge, juicy, hand-formed burger under there! There were even more fries, but I scoffed some down on the way home! So, you can blow through here for breakfast or lunch and have a great sandwich and patronize a local business at the same time! It doesn't get much better than that!

A large portion of the food pictures on Yelp are mine. I am eminently qualified to review this place so here you go! Arriving- On Main St., 30 seconds off US Route 27. The road is divided so you'll need a quick U-turn. You'll see a well-maintained large parking lot for your convenience. Visiting- This is a breakfast and lunch place but note that dinner type meals are available for lunch. This is Snowbird country and when they're in town I'd stay away from the late Sunday morning church rush. Trust me! Ambience- Florida kitsch and 50s-60s cars décor. Booths along the walls and the usual two-tops and four-tops. No problems with cleanliness. Pro Tip- Decent free wi-fi with no password hassles. Quaffing Choices- No booze here just fountain drinks. Of course, plenty of hot and iced coffee and tea. Pro Tip- If you are dying for an adult libation, have a great lunch here and 30 seconds down the road is a great dive bar that will meet your needs. Just Yelp it! Customer Service- Expect hustling, friendly, competent servers. It's very rare for me to have a problem and any I have are almost always trivial and rectified immediately! Food- A large, laminated sheet with breakfast and lunch on each side. Maybe a tent card with specials. Home-style, American-style comfort food brought to you in often very large portions. There are no surprises here. You'll recognize everything and nothing is fancy, just good, stick to your rib's food! See my pictures for lots and lots of examples. I like one of their several omelets for breakfast. Club sandwiches are large and fresh. The chef's salad is enormous! The Philly cheesesteak is better than decent. I recently enjoyed a giant pork tenderloin sandwich. Burgers are great. They maintain their fryers well and know how to use them so expect solid fried food. Pricing- Assuming you have a drink other than water, most of your meals here are going to be under $15 pre-tip and you will be stuffed! Just a super place for a quick and casual breakfast or lunch. Easily 4 and more like 4.5 stars!

    - A bagel sandwich for lunch? -…read more Yup. It might sound strange to some folks but add their awesome Broccoli Salad as a side and I predict you will have dreams about it and be back for more. Arriving- It's almost within sight of US route 27 South. Parking is the elephant in the room but stick with it as it's worth it! Ambience- There is a little bit of seating, but this is primarily a take-out place. The bagels are imported from NY, so the NY vibe is darn cute and appropriate. Others have posted plenty of pics. Customer Service- This is a family-operated place and there is a 90% chance you will be dealing with the husband & wife owners. They're awesome and I've never had a problem. Lunch Menu- There is plenty of breakfast food, but this review focuses on their lunch bagel sandwiches, so there are about a dozen sandwiches available and they average about $7.50. I chose the Brooklyn @ $7.50. It's a pumpernickel bagel with pastrami, Swiss cheese, dill pickles and mustard. My side was the Broccoli Salad, 8oz. $3. It's chopped broccoli, crumbled bacon, red onion, and shredded cheese, in a slightly sweet dressing. I brought my lunch home, and you can see my pictures. Taste- Chewy bagel, tons of meat & cheese, snappy pickle, and savory mustard. What's not to like. A seriously scrumptious sandwich. The Broccoli Salad is my new obsession. It's homemade and I could take a bath in it. The flavors just explode in my mouth! It's the perfect side dish! Conclusion- They've been open about a year now and have built a solid reputation with an average of about 4.5 stars on the 2 big review sites. I would agree! You know who the other one is! If you are in the area, you won't regret making a stop here!

If you patronize them, especially if you have the app, you need to check it out. The old system had tiers based upon your yearly spending. My tier was Captain. There was also Subway Cash. This has all been revamped. The new system is "Every 4th Footlong Free!" 1 Footlong = 1 stamp 6-inch sub = 1/2 a stamp 3 stamps = 1 free Footlong This seems much simpler than the old system and I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs. There is also still Subway Cash. I'll leave it to you to read the fine print. For this visit, as usual, I used the App to order the Footlong, 5-Meat Sub with all my usual add-ons. The App performed perfectly. Ambience- This is a clean, typical Subway. I always order on the App and never eat in so the only thing I really care about is cleanliness and it's always been spotless. Customer Service- My sub was ready before the time predicted. That's normal here. The folks smile and use my name so it's all good. Food- I almost always order the 5-meat version and it's fast, fresh and completely acceptable. See my picture. Conclusion- Can I purchase a better sub somewhere else? It took me maybe two minutes and my sammich was out in about five more. No choice but five stars! Food- So they bake their own rolls here which is a big plus.
