I made my appointments for school. They are very courteous. The drivers are always on time.

They need to hire more drivers or they need to hurry up and get people to where they need to be in a timely manner. Rather than making them wait hours after they've called for a ride. I am so sick and tired of how long Pueblo City Cab takes to get a cab out to me for a small ride. They need to improve a lot. The only reason they're getting 4 stars, is because they have decent staff and 98% of the time, the drivers are cool. But, they really need to make sure their drivers have enough couth to not fart in the car, cause that's really disgusting, and I don't appreciate having to smell a fart in a taxi on the way to my destination and back home. I booked a cab with them 3 weeks in advance this month it's 2/20/2024 right now. I booked a cab with my Medicare benefit of getting one for free because our truck is still broken down, and we have no money for Uber, AND we haven't been able to get our Commodities for 5 months now because of our truck being broken down. I finally figure that i've got a solution to this issue as without commodities, i'm running o ut of foodstamps faster and sooner than is usual as i'm buying MORE FOOD without Commodities to help buffer the expenses Anyway; my appointment with Commodities is today, at 10:30AM I booked this cab 3 weeks prior, around 2/3/2024 for a 10:30am arrival to Commodities to get my food and return home within 30 minutes after, and their Cab didn't show up till 11:00AM, this is AFTER my scheduled arrival time for Commodities which risks me getting turned away for the ENTIRE MONTH that'll be a month without food for me and my Dad because City Cab has rides before my 3 week pre-booked ride they feel is more important, hope i can sue them for starvation in the future if this happens again read more

As a person who worked for this company they have terrible customer service ..... they sent me out to pick up a fare .... customer uses welfare and gets 4 free rides a week he was down to one free ride he knew that upon calling and knew he would have to pay cash for return trip ..... upon reaching his destination I turned off the meter (that free ride was over) dispatch then sent me a new fare making me leave the customer at a store where he would have to wait hours for another cab to go get him and no where to sit and wait ....... If the dispatchers don't like you , you will end up waiting hours for a ride ..... and watch the window the driver will only wait 5 minutes before leaving and should call when on the way but most don't ....... I'm a dishwasher and sometimes I just can't get a ride home from my fellow workers so I call City Cab but there's almost never any cabs available by the time I get off work . When they do have service available they are always on time. I am alwlays grateful and try to make sure I tip the driver wel. Is there any way to get bigger fleet of vehicles? read more

Calling five hours early to reserve a cab means nothing. Pueblo cab sucks hard. Made me miss my appt. Cost me money and had to reschedule.

Terrible. I called a cab and requested a cab at 6:00pm. They cab showed up at 5:50 and left at 5:55. I got out of work and sat on the curb. I called a cab the next time for 6:15pm. The cab showed up at 5:55 and left at 6:00. I got out of work and sat on the curb. And both times I call the cab company and am told it's my fault they left. City cab is horrible. I called for a cab hours early. I got out of work at 8. They did not come till 930. When I called for a cab another time two hours. They don't care. I tried Uber for the first time. They picked me up in nine minutes! And was half cheaper. I hate City cab now. I lost respect for that company. Color me not impressed. The drivers are nice and kind, but the service by the company and it's dispatchers leave a lot to be desired. Last time I called ( b4 today) I was told my round trip would not be honored if they had to wait more than 5 minutes for me outside the store. Well I am paying for them to wait right? I am disabled and on a fixed income. I take cabs because my car is in the shop so these cabs help me get my necessities when delivery cost too much. Their reason? Because they only had 2 cabs on the road. I fail to see how this is my problem. Today it took almost 2 hours before a driver called to say they were on their way. Luckily my neighbor was driving by and helped me out. I hate to pay Uber's prices since they do not price you for round trips, but at least they are reliable and consistent. I think their inability to care for the disabled in our community should be addressed. Heck, for anyone who needs their services. I doubt I will be calling them in the future. read more

This company is a perfect reflection of this town's lack of advancement and how it's a dying city. To start when you go to the website they have you click on a book online button and that leads to a dead link. You then have to call and wait 15 to 20 minutes sometimes to even talk to anybody and then it's usually up to an hour and a half to two hour wait at night. I had them pick me up at the airport and they showed up over an hour late without any type of apologies for anything and when I got in the car the guy sat there and manually wrote in his last fare for about 3 to 5 minutes without acknowledging me in the car. The woman who answered the phones seems like she's bothered by us trying to use her business. Just like everything else in this town it is about 10 years behind and I can't wait for Uber to come in and take all their business. Having said that the driver was a nice enough guy and I'm sure he'll be a great driver for uber when this company goes under. read more

Great vehicles. Accommodating to what vehicle is needed for the patient/or client...ie, Van, SUV, Car. Can understand how hard it is scheduling rides as they drive and pick up clients/patients all over Colorado...from Trinidad, Lamar, Canyon City, North Denver, Alamosa....ect.- for doctors appointments Monday-Friday as well (pick up and take home). When your late to appointments its frustrating, thats understandable, but it is always worth communicating the issues so they can get resolved. The driving staff/office staff are on top of things now and are ready to take you where you need to go. If you had given a bad review...give Golden Gate Medicaid Rides another opportunity to provide quality services to get you to your appointments. Its a great company to work for as well! read more

When I called to reserve a cab, I was asked all the Covid 19 health screening questions and was told a mask is needed to ride in their cabs. No problem on my end. This cab company promised to pick me up on time when I called 2 hours ahead to make sure the cab would be on time and was told it would. Then 10 minutes before time for cab, I called and was told my cab was cancelled-was told I did not answer a call which was wrong for I had no call-anyway the guy said he was not sending me a cab when I asked for his name-I am a senior citizen and missed an appointment and could not pick up my vehicle from repair shop because I was left stranded with no reason and this man was rude, and mean spirited. Not friendly or fast service as they say in their ad-not at all. Very bad experience and left completely at a loss. I had to make a late night call to the taxi company [The only Taxi Company in the area] When I first got in the cab the meter was at $3.55 before we even left. We hit construction which would have made us go roughly 20 miles out of the way to my destination. Instead I got out of the cab and walked the remainder of the way. After Uber and Lyft didn't pick up, I was walking home before I remembered Pueblo City Cab. It was 10:30 PM and they picked up super quick, arrived fast and had me home super quick. I scheduled a pick up for 4:15 AM online on their website. I wasn't sure the reservation was confirmed so called the office to make sure. I spoke with a lady giving the information emphasizing that it was an AM pickup. A few minutes later about 4:10 PM, a cab arrived. The driver called me regarding the address. I pointed out that it was an AM reservation. I called the company talking to the same lady. She acknowledged there had been a mistake and mentioned that she'd "be in trouble". She assured me the taxi would be there at 4:15 AM the next morning. A few minutes later I received an angry call from Jaun at the cab company telling me the next morning I'd have to compensate the driver $15-$20. for the dispatch mistake. I explained it was not my error and I'd not be compensating the driver. Jaun was angry and rude and after a short discussion he hung up on me after he wished me good luck finding a ride to the airport in the morning. I called the company back trying to work out the problem. The lady answered the phone, said just a minute and handed the call off to Jaun. We had the same conversation with Jaun refusing me service and hanging up on me again. read more

The driver even stated I should check to make sure not double-charged, on both occasions. I used this City Cab Co once, and the experience was not great. I scheduled the cab the night before, and the cab was there on time (it was early morning, so thats a plus for them). The cab driver was nice, but it seemed like the first cab ride she'd ever given. I'm pretty sure we got lost on the way to the local airport, and she asked me if we were going the right direction (I didn't know, I wasn't from there, and don't know the roads, just trying to get to the airport). We did finally make it to the Airport, but it took longer than it should have. Fare from downtown was $25.00. Although it probably should have been $20 if we hadn't taken extra turns/roads. It's cash only, not credit. Last thing, I asked for a receipt and this was a major inconvenience. I need it for cash expenses because this was a business trip, and she ended up having to call dispatch because she couldn't find any receipts. After more than 5 minutes of looking, dispatch told her they were in the glove department! It's the only option in town as far as I can tell, but otherwise I'd be using another one next time. We are two elderly, slow moving ladies. One has to use a walker and the other a wheelchair. We think the world of the company and are very grateful for the drivers. At least twice they have saved our lives, literately. They never make us feel rushed or that we are a bother. They gave great service before the company changed hands. And if anything the service is better than ever. When I was at the doctor waiting to be picked up, I started to run out of air, I couldn't breathe well enough to be understood. My sister called dispatch and they had me safely home within 10 min, after asking if I needed an ambulance or the hospital. The driver walked me to the door to be sure I was OK.
