Definitely wear water shoes, (or tennis shoes you don't mind getting wet.) The rocks are super slippery, but totally worth the views and the swim under the falls. If you park in the falls parking lot, you will have a super steep set of stairs to get down/ back up. There are a few overlooks that you can see the falls without walking all the way down. The drive to the falls is as much of an adventure as the falls themselves- super windy and narrow roads- but a beautiful area!

Both were beautiful as well as the grounds. Rocks can be slippery so con cuidate! It's also a lil bit of hike when youre coming back up the steps, so preparado! Cooler temperatures are welcome due to all the shade from the trees. Parking is 10 bucks but we got in gratis. There's a little cantina para refrescos but it closes early at 6pm.

Try to be there in the morning due to limited parking space. The water slide is actually behind the community houses next to river Rio Pitahaya. The natural slide only can access through this location. The residents here create a concrete step pathway to reach the water slide. Parking at the property was $5. It is worth the money for the concrete step. It look scary to slide down the natural slide. My wife was scare at first. After she saw me slide down several time, she finally do it herself. The trick is you can start at the middle slide by climbing the rock on the side and slide down to increase your confidence. Once you got it, you will enjoy higher location. I recommend you wear water shoes for this location. This location do not have facilities, so go to the bathroom at Luquillo before you come in.

We hiked a little further away to a much larger waterslide and were able to enjoy both. The water was refreshing and not too cold but still cool. There are some shallow areas and some deep areas. The rush from the waterslide does push you back if you're not a good swimmer. We can't wait to return to this amazing place.

The Laguna de Condado has two tiny beaches on the northern and southwestern areas. At the…read moresoutheastern part is the Jaime Benitez park. There is no beach here but you can enter the lagoon on your paddleboard or kayak. There is a kayak rental. The park is also good for exercising and playing sports. There is a path for walking, jogging or cycling. Safe, family friendly and dog friendly. There is a parking lot and street parking available, restrooms, and a soda machine. There is no parking for the beach on the northern section. A nonprofit conservation group called El Estuario de La Bahia de San Juan hosts a family friendly event every 1st Saturday of the month here with games and educational topics. At 7pm they screen a movie free of charge. The movies are dubbed in Spanish with English subtitles. Overall, the Laguna is a nice place to hang out.
