If your in a group it can be nice. But seating is terrible couches you can't get comfortable in. And hookahs are mediocre at best.

This place was a let down. My mother in law has never tried hookah ever. We decided to take her to try it after drinking at Sky Peak bar which is practically next door. We walked in and there was no customers at all. We waited a few minutes and the young man working just stared at us the entire time not saying anything (we assumed they were closing for the night). So my mother in law asked "Hey there, are you guys open?". To which the guy responded "THE OPEN SIGN IS ON AINT IT?" So my mother in law decided to wait and see if he'd come over to help us as we have never been here before. Me and her cousin just told her let's go and she followed us. She was incredibly bummed, because she had never tried hookah before. Thankfully there is another hookah establishment in the same shopping center called Cloud Hookah and Grill. One thing about me is I care about customer service. I used to be a server and I always treated others the way I'd like to be treated. I have no clue what was going on with that young man that night, but it left a bad impression. It seemed like it would have been a cool spot to hang out but I unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to be served. I hope the owner sees this review and has a conversation with the staff. Tonight is my first time at Puffy's. It's a beautiful, calm, and relaxing hookah lounge. I chose to eat tonight, but the food is halal which is a major plus. They don't sell spirits, but they do have a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. The projector screens are large. And yes honey, the hookah is good. I wasn't expecting to see my favorite hookah guy, Bakar, working at this location. This is a major plus as well. The employees are welcoming and attentive. I was visiting Houston with a bunch of friends and on a Thursday we randomly found this place which turned out to be BYOB!!!! The ambience was very nice , seating was super comfortable, with the choice of couches and cushion seating and some good music ! We were greeted and helped by Mike. he was super helpful, and made some really amazing Hookah mixes! Would definitely recommend trying his mixes....( Mike's mix he called them ) !! The best part they even had a food menu, which we ordered by the end of the night and was not disappointed at all! The beef and chicken sandwich were delicious ! Had an amazing time and would recommend to people to check out the place !! read more

This place is small and it's built like a shotgun home. They charge $150 for the sections on the wall which is crazy because it's not the club. I ain't never heard of a hookah lounge charging for sections. And the place is dirty as hell and they got the nerve to charge that much. Those no decor or aesthetic that is worth paying $150 a section. I can go to Nomad where it's cleaner and more put together and they don't charge you to sit there. read more

Comfortable, laid-back chill spot with great hookah. Smooth smoke. Great music. I prefer to sit on the cushions versus the tables and couches. BYOB is a $5 fee. I know guys must pay $5 to enter in on Friday nights, but I know it's free for all Monday - Thursday. Not sure about entry fee on the weekend for men. Free for ladies everyday of the week. Cool spot! This is my second time coming here. Jacob was nice & made sure he took great care of us. He was straight to the point and came around multiple times to check on us. The music selection is lit. I like that music isn't very loud so that you can stop carry on a conversation but loud enough so that you can still get LIT. The chairs are very comfortable and relaxing. It's BYOB $5 per person with a set up included if you choose. They have big projector screen TVs. I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

First of all the entrance was $20.. and we were told by the front lady a hookah was $30 including a place to sit. We sat down and nobodyyyy came to us, for about 30 minutes then some girl comes up and says we have to pay 150 to sit down like girl if i wanted to go to the club o would've done that. Then a different guy come up and tells us is 75 and then some other guy comes up to him and tells him some and the guy that was talking to us first just walked off. so we get up trying to leave and we get stoped and there like okay you can pay 50$. Well what a disappointment! So the the furniture has not been cleaned since the purchase of them in 1989. Oh don't get me started with 5 cover charge and a dollar a cup really???? Since I'm a hookah fanatic I decided to try a new place that I spotted when I was out. This establishment is BYOB, so I brought my own bottle of wine. As soon I walked in I was quickly greeted and told to find any seat of my preference. As soon as we sat down they brought a menu and told about certain shisha's. I ordered the grapefruit mint which I think was amaze-balls, every shisha place I've been to the shisha only lasts about 30-45 minutes tops. This particular place lasted for about 1-1.5 hours (crazy ikr?). The owner (Mike) came by to check on us to see if we were enjoying ourselves and if we needed anything (which I think is an amazing touch). The staff also kept the coals coming and asked if we would like any food. The staff is very friendly and attentive, you didn't have to flag down an employee like most places. Convienent location. Service is good. The guy came out with menu right away. The other guy who made the hooka came out asked if we needed anything. The place is comfortable. I would say too comfortable makes it hard to leave. Hooka was well prepared as well. At first i was worried on what type of crowd thier would be but it's actually a calm and chill place .
