This is a fantastic, fun and friendly place to go. I went for the first time with a group of a Francis celebrate a birthday. I got there earlier than my group and immediately noticed how clean of a facility was. There were a significant amount of people apparently there was a large party as well as individual groups much smaller. The wait time was about 30 to 45 minutes, but it was very easy to walk in and get a reservation. I was very impressed by the cleanliness. They have a playground for children so if you bring little ones they have stuff to do plenty of seating as well. The parking situation I would recommend those coming on a weekend to arrive 30 minutes before just to get a good seat otherwise there is valet. The food is very delicious. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately the staff here is very lackadaisical, with no attention to detail. They're kind enough when you're in front of them but if you don't flag them down or let them know you exist then you're on your own. We had to flag them down to let them know we arrived. Then we have to flag them down for some water then to order them our meal... Then we had to wait an additional half an hour to get the check. I can try to flag someone down because I was late for a meeting but there was no rush there was no rhyme there was no reason. There was no rhythm. I was getting irate so I had to go to the bar and tell them to get someone to our table immediately. That wasn't the only issue we had.. the furniture inside and outside are very very dirty. I would say maybe 90% of them are wet and moldy. Which is weird because I can understand that condition outside but not inside. Almost all of the furniture inside were soiled and molded. And actually truly disgusting. Ultimately, we desire to sit outside because there was less mold than the ones inside. The food however is decent enough to visit again, though I may have to order to go. It's nothing to write home about but again I may need to just order something different and order take out. read more

I decided to order something to go because it had been a long day and honestly just wasn't feeling that social. However, when I pulled up love the ambience the outdoor patio was definitely giving Miami vibes. Great atmosphere for date night groups celebrations definitely give the patio a 10 out of 10. The food I ordered the lamb chops had great flavor prepared just right very tender. The potatoes were seasoned very well. Ordered a strawberry smoothie delicious and then things start to go a little downhill and here's why. I called for over an hour and no one answered the phone so that is why I drove over when I got there. The gentleman at the desk claimed that the volume was down on the phone and that's why he didn't answer when I placed my order. This is my first time there and I stated that I asked if there were sides that came with the lamb chops she said yes she highly recommended the mango salad so my assumption was the mango salad came with the meal. Well what I got was a few sprinkles of lettuce, five slices of mangoes and an extra surcharge of four dollars for the salad and you can see by the photo. It's three bites at Best. Then I ordered the crêpes and I said what do the crêpes come with? She says Nutella banana bananas strawberries I said great. I'll take that.!! again if there is an up charge for something that's not included this would be a great time to mention it. I received a two dollar charge for the bananas a two dollar charge for the Nutella a two dollar charge for the strawberries and if that's not with the crêpes come with why not just say that.. I told them that I was going to leave and she specifically said we will text you when your order is ready because they take your number and they texted me a receipt before I left 45 minutes later I still had not received a text. I decided to drive up. I had to find somewhere to park. I had to walk all the way across the parking lot because they said they would bring my order out. When I walked inside the same gentleman now says he tried calling me, but the phones were down... now for me. It's been a long day so I tried to manage my irritation at this point, but my problem is that I received your text message for the receipt. You told me you were going to text me when my order was ready you told me that the ringer was down and that's why you didn't answer the phone but when I got there, my order was cold. It had been sitting there over 45 minutes and now all of a sudden, the phones didn't work, but they worked fine for you to send the receipt and they worked fine that you were going to text me and you actually said you called me which there was no call... So for $70 I left with cold food and high irritation that was completely unnecessary... so overall I would say even with all of that this is probably a great place to visit. They seem to have enough staff, but they definitely need to work on their customer Service skills and a restaurant. This busy clearly needs to have working phone lines. read more

Came here around 11:00 for brunch on a Sunday. We decided to get the Fatteh with shrimp and the chicken croissant. The fatteh was really good, but I wish the bread it was served with was actually warm. The croissant sandwich was good, as well. I would say 4/5 for food. Subtracting a star because a lot of the tables were dirty despite them just opening and the smell of hookah was so prominent even though no one was smoking. I understand that it's a hookah lounge, but usually there's some sort of ventilation so that the smell isn't too strong indoors. read more

Met a group of friends a this Mediterranean/Hookah place. The place was packed, but we were able to secure couple of tables on the upstair patio. Ordered the beef shawarma. Plate with rice n hummus and the lamb Kabob with FF and hummus. Both items were Ok. Nice presentation but definitely lacking flavor/aroma/seasoning. IMO, the food is somewhere between 2.5-3, however the company of friends and laughters and convos is what makes the place lively. Came in on a Tuesday night Dress code: casual Food 2/5: we ordered the fresh coconut and mint lemonade for drinks. Got their lava mixed kebab with baba ghanoush and rice for sides as well as their chicken sliders and chocolate lava cake for dessert. The drinks and the lava cake were definitely the highlights. Sides were ok but the kebabs were very dry and the sliders were a bit anemic and the fries were stale Ambiance 4/5: ambiance outside patio was great with heaters and lights out but was a bit cold so we asked to be seated inside. Great venue, quite beautiful but covered in a haze of smoke from the hookah. Seems to be a popular place for board games? Saw multiple catans while there, iykyk Service 3.5/5: very mixed here the front was very helpful when seating us and very accommodating when we asked to switch to indoors and the waitress indoors was great but the service outdoors took a really long time. Come here for the **vibez**. It's a cute place, very aesthetic and insta worthy. The skylight made it feel like an airport, large and airy. We stopped in for a quick lunch during a work day, which I actually prefer because it wasn't busy. I don't do hookah and actually am kind of bothered by it, so thankfully we were able to sit a little further away from it. It's not like la pasha or other places where you have to sit outside to be far from the smoke. Although I will say it was a plus that they had a little playground outside for the kids. I don't know why they didn't put the turf on the whole area and only did a little patch, but we used it for a bit before leaving and it was fun enough nevertheless. The chairs and outside area is really nice. The food was good, but not going to lie- there's better in the area. I wouldn't get a shawarma again, but I would get the grilled plate again- it's hard to mess up unless you over cook the meat. They had apple 3 horses which I was happy about because it's my favorite, and tasted the virgin Pina colada and it was really good. We were seated and seated and still seated with no greeting. Two servers walked past our outside table to their guest right by us. And no it wasn't busy AT ALL! Plenty of empty seating. After returning to the host stand asking if we could get service it appeared they had went looked. And still no service! I was going to grab a manager. Driving past you wouldn't notice that this place is pretty big. Parking can be a little hectic because it's right next to Benihana. They do offer valet parking. When you walk up the step lots of outdoor seating on a nice day. When you go inside there are different sections; area for sitting to eat, smoke hookah and watch some TV. Another area has couches with tables if you just want chill with some friends or a date. There is also a prayer room, which I thought was nice. If you just want to eat and not be around the hookah smell then there is an enclosed room. I chose to sit in the room without the hookahs. The service was good, our waitress did give us good suggestions on things to try. We had appetizers, the first is the fried cauliflower, I would say it was not what expected, I was thinking maybe it would have a little crisp to it. It was more of a roasted deal, not to much of a seasoned flavored it was paired with ranch. I'm a veggie lover but it was a little bland for me. Next the hummus and beef, the beef was tender and nicely season. You had your pita bread for dipping. Mixing the beef season with the hummus had a good taste, but the hummus alone I felt something was missing. The mint lemonade was refreshing and not over powering, and the 3 layer was a good combination not too sweet. I truthfully had no idea about this hookah spot until just recently. This place used to be a Chrrascos if I remember correctly. While hookah is expensive wherever you go, their regular hookah is moderately priced. $14.99! We ordered their steak wrap with salad and chicken shwarma loaded fries. THE LOADED FRIES ARE HANDS DOWN THE BEST. Highly recommended. Hookah is pretty good. It would rate a 3.5/5. I recommend this spot on a friday evening. There aren't too many people and will not have to deal with overcrowded sitting areas. Unlike Parkers and LA Pasha, you don't have to wait in line to be seated. Another huge plus is that they actually have self parking and their own parking lot! Finally, no vallet! There were up charges for everything and the waiter did not advise. I did a girl's brunch here and this restaurant is so aesthetically beautiful, clean and welcoming - you can't help but want to find a patio seat and just hang out - not to mention that the restroom is huge, clean, and cute (not in a small way, it's the perfect women's lounge area fit with mirrors and comfy benches). There's PLENTY of patio setups, indoor lounge couches and tables, and a 2nd floor seating area so you shouldn't have trouble finding space for your group. The service was fast, friendly, and she was great at providing suggestions on what to order for our group and which drinks were her favorite. For mocktails, we had the Pineapple Flame and the Arabian Champagne which were both so flavorful and refreshing on such a humid day. For food, we actually shared the Family Platter between the three of us. We had a Mezza Platter, the babaganoush was spectacular, I don't know if the eggplant is roasted or grilled but the flavor was to die for, garlicky, nutty, so smooth, it's a ten! The spicy hummus same, the flavor of the charred peppers was almost sweet, wonderful! The labneh was very refreshing, perfect to go with anything you order off their menu, and the hummus original recipe, is so smooth, the flavor of the tahini is so GOOD!! This Mezza by far is one of the best hummus and babaganoush I've ever tasted. The bread is really good, very thin, goes great with everything. We had the beef kebab plate with 2 beef skewers, rice and tabbouleh, the beef was super tender, with grilled vegetables, the basmati rice was delicious, great flavor of spices, cloves, and fried onions, the tabbouleh super fresh, perfect acidity. This is a hookah lounge. If you search those reviews it more reflects this place. If you are looking for a place to smoke and want bar food its ok. If you are looking for mediterranean food there are place much better including in this shopping center. First I didnt realize they allow smoking inside. My fault as I didnt know we are back in 1980. Second, the food is so mid. Why do places that open up in Houston serve instant tea. I hated that so I asked for a soda so they bring me just a can. No ice, no glass, just a can. This place is like Chucky Cheese decided to open up a smoke shop. They serve mediterranean, italian, american, mexican. Everything is equally as bad as you can imagine. This restaurant was in a large shopping center so parking was not a problem bc you can park anywhere within the area. Parking in front of the restaurant itself and maybe about 20 spots. There was an outdoor seating, downstairs and upstairs area. First of all I did not know that this restaurant didn't NOT HAVE ALCOHOL. All of the drink pics I looked t online looked like it was alcoholic drinks but no they do not have alcohol here. They also have hooka here. We ended up sitting downstairs near several people smoking hooka. It was very smoky. They need better ventilation to get rid of that smoke. If I would have known that the ventilation was this poor, I would have asked to sit outside. The service was slow and they automatically too themselves 18% on your check already. Because of that, I feel that they don't have to provide great service to us. Instead of being checked on my the waitstaff, we had to look for them to ask for what we needed. As far as food, the lamb was delicious. The corn was really good as were all of the drinks I do think that $9 for a pineapple drink without alcohol was pricey. Enjoyed dinner at Lava. This place has a lot of space with four rooms and upon arrival staff ask you, "where would you like to sit." Place gets busy around 8/9pm. There is also a patio where people were smoking hookah and playing cards. Atmosphere is very chill. Also family and kid friendly. I ordered the lamb chops which was very tender and had a great flavor. The fattouch salad with the balsamic vinegar was good and the garlic potatoes was very good. Loved the mint lemonade which was very refreshing. My husband ordered the Salmon, Garlic Potatoes and basmati rice. Salmon was thick, season very well and had the right amount of crunch. I was there feb 02, 2025 for brunch. Food was great everything we had was full of flavor. The knafeh is THE BEST .. ambiance very nice. We sat on the terrace. I had the pleasure of visiting Lava Lounge today, and it was an amazing experience . When I walked into the place, it was so clean, and the setting was beautiful. The place is perfect for girls' day out , date night , business meeting, and more, so if you have kids, they even have a playground. This is a major for me . The playground is well kept, and it kept my son very entertained. He is 6. The outside is spacious and intimate .. perfect for a date night after eating, considering benihanas is right next door. The inside is also clean and amazing. The bathroom is beyond clean, and each stall has its own sink, so you definitely have your own privacy. No more waiting in lines to wash your hands or just to check yourself in the mirror. You have your own mirror in your stall also . The food is so good, i had the lemon pepper corn, and this was my first time tasting lemon pepper corn, and it was so delicious. I also had green tea. I had a hookah that was super smooth and great. It was not harsh, and I did not choke . This was recommended by Elvis . Elvis was my waiter and from he moment I walked in the door he attended to my every need . He was so friendly and nice. He answered any question I had, and he checked on me each moment to make sure i didn't need anything else. If you go I recommend him .. Oh my gosh! Thank you Karim!!! The food was fantastic. I don't know if the food is better during Ramadan or what but I know our once empty bellies are now full with delicious cuisine from Lava. We had the lentil soup, Shish Taouk plate with chicken, Cesar salad, and potatoes. Oh boy!!!! The meal was fit for a Queen and I enjoyed every minute of it. The food was frehot which is a requirement for me to give 5 . As a special treat Karim brought out some fresh baked baklava and it was just as good as Mrs. Zenedjian's who gave me my first taste of these amazing pastries.
