I took my son to Puget Sound Pediatric Dentistry today and we had the best experience! The staff were all VERY kind and Dr Benton was very attentive and explanatory when discussing his future treatment needs. The office was very clean, tidy, and welcoming for young kiddos. My son's previous experience with a dentist went so poorly that we made the choice not to visit one for several years (he was 2 during his last bad experience), so he wouldn't be scarred with a bad attitude towards the dentist. Now, at 5 years old, and with him needing some dental attention, we had to look for an office for him. Here he felt so safe and so excited to be there. He even said he wanted to go back! I would definitely recommend this office to other parents looking for a dentist. read more

I'd like to start by sharing that I've taken my child to this clinic for the past 7 or 8 years, and it was a positive experience for many of those years. Unfortunately there's been some sort of change over the last few years within the office to where there has been less consistency in getting scheduled to be seen by the same provider, turnover in staff, diminished quality of care, and an overall feeling of disorganization and disconnect. We made the decision to switch to another dental provider after the last 2 cleaning visits felt rushed and also having to share/repeat relevant history that should've been noted and visible in the dental record. read more

Dentists are great... now onto the dental assistants... has our autistic kid in in an emergency visit. The assistants were short, rude and borderline aggressive and I will ensure neither are ever on our care team ever again. It is in his chart he's special needs and what needed to be done wasn't an option to sedate him no was nothing invasive. The dentist was more that gentle, patient and even gave breaks but the eye rolls, teeth clenching, crossed arms, loud sighs and aggressive verbal talk to a 6 year was completely not needed!! Maybe if they did their jobs right our kid wouldn't have found a piece of sharp dental equipment that resembles a needle on the floor by the cushions... it's to bad two snooty techs can make a family feel so unwelcome in a place that's always been accommodating to PEDIATRIC patients and these techs had to have known when they applied there... read more

My kids have gone here since they were babies. All the staff are absolutely amazing. I love that in the last few years, the appointments are always on time. My son giggled through his entire appointment with Kaylee. Highly recommend! read more

We have gone here for several years. The decline in care quality and office experience there have become too much. They ignore your charts and i have had them give treatments by mistake more than once with my children or done things unauthorized and when confronted their apologies were sub par and they tried to brush off what was a huge mistake. The staff has progressively become more rude and the type of care they offer has also declined in quality. The staff need some major etiquette and customer service training and the assistants need attitude adjustments (not all but sadly most) I love that they are close and convenient and in a beautiful building but unfortunately that seems to be all they have going for them there. I have 3 kids and we are there a few times a year and it has not improved at all if anything it's worse even after bringing this to the attention to 2 of the dentists. They also speak to you in a very condescending way and i feel i am a pretty easy going person so it's really disappointing for my family and our community. I have heard several other moms say they'd never take their kids there again. We will be looking for a new place. read more

The dental office is clean and there is a lot of staff. The trouble is with the dentists themselves. We have seen a different dentist every single time. The issues started about a year ago when we discovered that my kids had cavities. Instead of heavy procedures, my husband and I both asked about silver diamine. The dentists repeatedly poo poo'd the idea. A few months ago we saw Dr. Ping who thoroughly dismissed my request down to a cosmetic thing, which we never worried about as parents. Now, the dentist he recently saw recommened a crown for one of my son's teeth. My son is autistic and is very sensitive which is why we started the silver diamine discussion months ago. If they had not dismissed our concerns to begin with and dealing with multiple dentists, we very well may not have had to deal with this issue so soon. I do not recommend this dentist because of their level of service and delaying care of issues, only to recommend more expensive treatments later. Please read the reviews thoroughly because we are not the only peope who have mentioned this delay of care issue. read more

I never thought it was possible for my kids to be excited about the dentist until we found PSPD. Doctor Farmer, Lauren, Brianna, Maria S and all the staff are so fabulous. Kiddos have been seeing them for 5 years and at this point know everyone by name. If only we had a pediatrician this good in Monroe Only downside is our insurance is out of network and it can be pricey for just standard cleanings. read more

This used to be the BEST kids dentist. The employees were GREAT. Now the employees are HORRIBLE, rude and do not know the answers to any questions. I am so glad my kids are done there as of today. Even if they were not turning 18 I would never go back. read more

I initially thought good of PSD, but not anymore. I missed a surgery appointment for my daughter because i was hospitalized and in a coma overseas, so they radiated my whole family from future services. Very human and compassionate from them indeed. And God knows i previously completed a similar appointment with my older kid. They would not understand anything about me not being able to call in and cancel because i was in a COMA for God's sake. After all, the big guys at PSD are just about money; they are fake and uncompassionate. So not good and so sad for them. I posted this very same message on their FB page today 10/2/2017, i'm curious how long it'll stay on there before they delete it. read more

I take my kids to the Monroe office and we have always had a great experience. My 4 year old is great up until it's time to clean her teeth and starts to get scared. The staff are always so sweet and reassuring, it makes it so much easier on parents with kids that still fear the dentist. My 8 year old just loves it, and enjoys going. All their staff do a great job. read more

Excellent care is found here. They rushed my two year old in today to check him out after a nasty fall. The office was so patient with me. The clinical staff was extremely patient with my little boy who was terrified and screaming. Dr. Kramer is the best dentist I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. read more

My 2 and 4 yo had their first dental appts today here and they went great. This was their first time at the dentist so i didnt know what to expect but everyone is super nice and great with kids. (I say that because we have had pediatric nurses that have been horibble and not so patient, and that was not the case here) The waiting room is airplane themed which was another plus because my kids love airplanes! My 4 y.o loved that he got to watch a movie on the ceiling and that he got a toothbrush and bouncy ball. My 2 y.o cant stand sitting for a long time and they were super quick and great with him. Every single dentist at this office is wonderful. The front staff is very inviting while the back staff makes my family feel like we have known them for years. My daughter asks when she gets to go to the dentist weeks before her appointment. She loves watching a movie in the chair and getting nice clean "princess teeth" after her appointment. Before stumbling upon this office my daughter wouldn't even open her mouth for the dentist. I would never consider bringing her anywhere else. read more
