I wrote my first review for Redmond Ridge Pediatrics over three years ago when we first started coming here. The office experience, care, and quality keep us coming back! Dr. Wang and her team are so nice and supportive. One of my sons seems to be prone to cavities and he's also a bit nervous about people doing things to his mouth and shots. We waited as long as we could to treat the cavities, monitoring them closely along the way, until he was older and could tolerate the procedure. Dr. Wang gave me options, listened to my concerns, and supported what made me most comfortable. We worked with a therapist on helping my son with his fears and then started the process of treating the cavities. Dr. Wang has been so supportive and helpful in getting him through... she really cares about wanting kids to have good experiences at the dentist so they won't have a lifelong fear and have good teeth. I have really appreciated her partnership in developing a plan that is best for him. My boys enjoy coming here because they get to watch shows they want to on tv and get little prizes. read more

We have been visiting for a couple of times and it has been always great. They answer all our questions diligently. If they don't know something, they will get the doctor. This is so far the best Pediatric Dental Clinic I've ever been to! Thanks to the five star reviews that led me to contact this place. My call was immediately answered after first few rings and an appointment was already available the same day! The Clinic is conveniently located in Marketplace drive in Redmond, with lots of free parking spaces available and the inside ambiance is so cozy with nice fireplace and clean play area for kids. Staff are very friendly and helpful! My son had a traumatic experience having a baby tooth pulled out from another dental clinic, for some reason the numbing meds just wouldn't work! But Dr. Wang and her team did an amazing job, making my son feel comfortable and turning the worst experience into the best one! My son said he didn't even feel a thing and was surprised the tooth was already pulled out! Afterwards, he was given tokens where he can use to exchange for a small toy of his choice for his cooperation and bravery during the procedure. My kids RUN into their dentist appointments. I've been bringing my oldest here since he was 3. My boys are now 6, and 3. We love Dr. Christine and her amazing staff. They are always warm, welcoming, and full of love for my kids making it a memorable place for them to visit. One thing I love about coming here is that I feel safe...from germs. I was not impressed. The actual dentist is fine as well as the receptionist. The other staff we dealt with talked in baby voices. They didn't explain to my preschool aged child what was going on and just took her away from me with no explaining why or what they were doing. Overall they were rude to my daughter when she asked questions. They also were quick to say that she refused to do what they asked even arguing with me that if I was in the room she would still refuse but when I insisted I be near and they finally agreed she had no problems. read more

My daughter recently had to have two baby teeth removed to make room for the adult ones underneath. I called the office to ask a question about my infant. The dentist answered my questions and we agreed it was best that we would come in for a quick check and to meet. The office manager was super friendly and making the appointment was very simple. Upon arrival to the office, you know they have KIDS IN MIND! The office itself is decorated just perfectly. It is very welcoming and I imagine would put kids at ease right away. When the dentist came out, I knew right away I would like her. We moved to WA right before lockdown, so I had to look for new doctors and dentists for my family. My children's pediatrician recommended Dr. Wang and I have to say it's the best recommendation I've ever gotten regarding a dentist! My children were due to for a cleaning and their orthodontist also requested to have a few baby teeth removed. My daughter gets incredibly anxious and last time she had to have an extraction we had to have an anesthesiologist give her general anesthesia as she would get so nervous no one could get near her. I mentioned this to Dr. Wang at the beginning of the appt. so she was prepared. She came back a few mins later letting me know my daughter didn't even realize a tooth was pulled! I can't recommend her more! My son also had a few teeth taken out and it was super easy! I also have to say that her staff is absolutely amazing. They are welcoming, helpful, and caring. There are so many things about this place that makes my kids comfortable being here. The waiting room is designed like a play/living room with lots of things to keep kids entertained while we wait. The entire office staff is extremely friendly and very talented when it comes to easing those timid and scared kids that don't want their teeth checked. My daughter is an example of a patient that would hardly open her mouth but by the 3 check up she was familiar and comfortable getting her teeth cleaned! That is all thanks to Dr. Wang and her excellent support staff! They take the time to make kids feel comfortable. Here's a bonus, each dental chair is set up with their own monitor so kids can watch their favorite show during cleanings! The kids even get a token at the end of the cleaning which allows them to choose a toy from the toy machine. Parents will like the convenient location and how very efficient they are with time. It has been about 6 hours since my family left this office and I am still in awwww. To begin with, the amazingly friendly, helpful, caring but most of all sincere gentleman who answered the phone started our experience off with a bang. My husband explained the situation our 5 year old son was having and Kevin cared so much we could hear it in his voice. He managed to get us in for an emergency appointment this afternoon. He looked up our insurance information before we arrived, making our check in process a breeze. We arrived 30 minutes early, to be on the safe side. We were greeted by the dentist, yes the actual dentist herself got us started once we arrived. While my husband and I filled out the paperwork, she went to the play area, got on the floor and bonded with our 5 year old son! Her assistant then introduced herself, took our son by the hand to go have Xrays. I have never seen our son so excited to go to the back. From there, the dentist explained what needed to be done so specifically and comforting, as both my husband and I were visibly upset. Both the hygienists came to explain and comfort us as well. As we signed the authorization forms Kevin from the front desk was so reassuring that our son was in the best hands possible, and let me tell you, I could not have believed them more. Kevin walked me back to the chair where they were working on our son, I stood off to the side of the doorway so he couldn't see me, because he was already so comfortable with them. I watch the dentist sing and tell stories, distracting him so well he didn't even notice her give her the shots. She spoke to him about all they had discussed in the waiting room and she remembered everything he told her. I was so impressed and moved I went to run and tell my husband. I find him being distracted by Kevin and laughing in the waiting room. I quickly tell him how amazing it is going, turn to go back only to see the dentist walking towards us... she was finished! She explained everything she had done, gave is aftercare instructions and within minutes our son was picking his toys so we could leave. As we walked out the door, my numbed mouth 5 year old says " I love her, can we come back?" The answer is absolutely, we will never go anywhere else, our baby that is due in late August will be coming here. I will refer any and everyone. Thay are hands down, undoubtedly the absolute best in the business. To make matters even better, the dentist herself just text us to check on our son and to let us know she's here if we need ANYTHING. This office raises the bar for pediatric dentistry. Reception - Hands down the most kid friendly reception area I have ever seen. Spacious, quiet, plentiful toys for all ages (mine are 1.5 and 3.5). These toys are also quality toys - Magformers too! It was decorated in calming tones and decor. It wasn't "officey" at all. Staff (Reception and Assistants) - Even though this was our first visit, they knew us by name. Greeted us kindly and told us what to except each step of the way. Additionally, everyone acknowledged our kids by name and talked to them. All of this was handled with a calm pace. There isn't anything I hate more than being rushed especially when you are managing your kids uneasiness. Nothing was done in a hurry. I really appreciated that! Dr. Christine Wang - This is a dentist that knows how to relate to kids!!! My two sons (1.5 and 3.5) were not scared at all which was a shocker! She took the time to calmy talk to them, show them the instruments and ask about their favorite things. She had our 3.5 YO laughing. They were so comfortable with her, they opened their mouths for her. Amazing! The Chairs - The area where the kids actually sat in the chairs was also quiet. They had their choice of cartoon to watch on screens in front of them. They were the screens that are mounted in front of them so they didnt have to hold anything they could just sit back and relax. I had a stool so I could sit up close and hold his hand too. It was a really well thought out layout. All in all, I meant was I said at the beginning of this review - they raise the bar. We have been going to this office last 2 years and all my 3 kids have gotten the best dental care I can ask for. My now 9 year old hasn't been the easiest customer with his fear of dentist but they have done everything and more to make it work and we have always managed to way to get his check ups done.
