Hired for inheritance theft case as executer, told them all the assets were stolen before we signed…read moreanything and told them i would need to make a payment plan, only had $3500 for retainer to start, After papers signed and funds deposited i sent pics of theft, copy of inventory and pictures of the items police reports and picture of people stealing the property this was almost a year since i hired them Within 1 month they blew thru retainer They hired intern to work on case that didnt get any of the info i gave right and rewrote draft three time, charge me $2700 for their screwup nickle and dimed me even when they called me , Now got last invoice and on intern #3 Havent seen court yet and it looks like they are trying to file a dismissal of my case without even serving anyone or me even seeing a court date yet.

The email you have attached relates to a prior case that was completed. If you would like clarification please call the office." The owner explicitly acknowledges that the attached correspondence in which Mr. Langan introduced himself as my legal representation comes from a matter where I was, in fact, an individual client represented by Mr. Langan. The firm's own records confirm this relationship: The attached September 2020 Activities Export shows Mr. Langan logging hours specifically to consult with "the client" to remove the prior trustee under Matter 01051-Hall. While the owner claims this case was "completed," the firm's own ledgers show ongoing activity under that identical matter number (01051-Hall) through at least May 2025. If this matter was closed, shouldn't it have been in November of 2020 when he transitioned to the position of trustee. If that client matter did not close when Thomas Langan accepted his position as trustee, when was the matter closed and where is that closed client file? If the firm maintains that this matter was officially closed, I invite them to email me the formal disengagement letter and complete client file which is documentation I am legally entitled to receive. I expect that the email adheres to my recently requested accommodation per my recent health concerns. Once provided, I would be more than happy to adjust my review accordingly. Until then, however, I must rely on the incomplete record available to me while I await appeal which currently demonstrates continuous, active representation under the same file code while simultaneously administering the trust, suggesting that Thomas Langan maintains his position as my legal representation to this day.
