This company's practices are questionable at best and unethical at worst. They were called out due to no AC in the house. As homeowners, we verified that the condenser had power and was running. The filters were clean and the system appeared to be cycling air, albeit not a ton. This was communicated over the phone to dispatch. First issue is they take a hour charge up front for "new customers" and the they didn't schedule a time; the tech just shows up. The tech goes through the house and verifies what we already know: the system doesn't work. They don't check airflow or the filters or the unit in the attic. They say it's "too hot" to assess the problem and they leave. Before they drive off they tinker with the outdoor condenser unit, fail to communicate what they did, and drive off. I was not home during the repair but this is the recap my wife gave me. When I come home I find the refrigerant caps at the condenser removed and sitting on the lawn. I call back the next day to speak to the tech. The tech assures me that he did check out with my wife after "servicing" the condenser, essentially calling my wife a liar. He has no explanation for why the caps were removed and just left on the ground. He comes back again (once again, not schedule. Just shows up) to do some work and then sends me a text saying what he thinks the issue is and that can check in tomorrow if the system hasn't improved. This is day two and we still don't know what the problem is and there's no documentation/report of the work done to date. Do not hire them. It's bad business to perform repairs/modifications and not report it to the homeowner. I have an open complaint with BBB and Labor and Industries regarding this. They are swindlers taking advantage of people during freezing temperatures. Charging me for an hour of work when they barely worked half that amount of time and didn't wait to see if they properly diagnosed the problem. They didn't. We had to replace the blower motor later that week. Apparently the OWNER came to service the furnace, after 20 minutes told me the new thermostat we installed ourselves was defective and I needed a new one. Didn't offer to do it, didn't even bother to crack open the furnace unit to see if there was something else going on. When I called to ask if they could do anything for me the secretary kept repeating that was the minimum hourly rate, and she was sorry I felt this way. Avoid this company at all costs. Unlimited Heating and Electric is the way to go. read more

This company is the WORST. Furthermore they do not care about people's health and safety. They came out a month ago and said our AC needed a compressor. No idea why it took a month to get one, but it did. They came out Friday, tore the unit apart, and at 5pm, walked off the job leaving the unit wide open, wires exposed and us with no AC. Monday we called them and let them know that not only do we have a special needs baby in the house, but my daughter has heat induced seizures. She's disabled due to these seizures. Monday afternoon two men arrived, and did some work, but then, as it was close to 5 pm, and I guess they didn't want to work, they sat on their butts and played with blades of grass until 5pm, at which time they got up, left the unit disassembled, and again left wires exposed. I live an apartment with lots of children and pets. We called them again today (Tuesday) and told them AGAIN about having a special needs infant in the house as well as a child who has heat induced seizures. 1 star If I could give you 0 stars I would. Called about an animal stuck in the chimney. They sent out an unqualified "journeyman" who did literally nothing but tell us we needed to get the stove serviced then charged us $85 to reattach some screws that I later had to undo so the pest people could look at it. The orignal bill was over $130 because the tech claimed (falsely) that he spent an hour and a half at my house... doing nothing... until my husband went in and complained and they dropped it down to "only" an hour. So... lying tech, never gave us an invoice, and did less than the pest control folks who didn't charge us a dime. I will have people come down from Spokane to service my stove and cheerfully pay them gas and transportation time before I will ever consider Pullman Heating and Electric for any other work... or rather "work" since that's what they did. read more

Avoid at all cost they are swindlers. Had them service my AC unit and the technician did a recharge to the Freon. Once finished he said it was a little cold to be doing the job and he may have to come back out to check the levels later. He never showed or called again. Six months later I get a bill with several late fees and a invoice that just had charges on it no actual work listed. When I called to ask for a invoice and to ask about the late fees I was told they would look into it and call me right back. Five days later I call them back just to have them remove only one of the late fee and have the manager Amber tell me "I should be gracious for what they have done they could of stacked a lot more late fees on the bill but didn't." When I pointed out that the work wasn't even finished she would interrupt me saying I called and asked for the service so all of this is my responsibility. I called Pullman Heating and Electric about a faulty circuit. A journeyman came and spent 1 hour and 15 minutes. He was very nice but did not accomplish much. He spent a lot of the time walking in and out to the truck. He checked his phone constantly. He was very careful while cutting the drywall and cleaned up after himself very nicely. Unfortunately, he did not seem to have any idea how to find the problem with my circuit. He had another appointment, so he left. The office called to schedule a follow up appointment. I explained what happened and that I did not want the electrician to return. She said ok and hung up. I continued to receive voicemails trying to reschedule, I sent an email explaining and asking for a bill. I got no response, but the phone calls continued. I talked to someone else in the office and explained the situation. The voicemails continued. I finally called the office and talked to the first person again, and simply said no I am not interested can you please mail me a bill. 2 month later, I finally got a bill for 2 hours of work. read more

Beware! I called Pullman Heating to repair my Fujitsu AC unit. The owner came to run a diagnostic and see why the unit wasn't working properly. He took apart the unit and left. Leaving all the screws, face plate, and parts on the ground overnight and throughout the next day.There was no communication whatsoever..he just left leaving the equipment exposed in a parking lot. When questioned about why the unit was left in this condition the owner lied and said he had come back to put the unit back together. I hired another company to put the equipment back together and photographed with a date stamp the pieces lying on the ground. This company is not trustworthy read more
