I rarely leave a negative review but I've been having some respiratory issues for some time now and getting a hold of anyone via the customer service line is difficult. Both times I've called have been a minimum of 45 minutes waiting with constant and incessant "your call is very important to us" messaging. The first follow-up call I received was from an unknown number/invalid caller ID. Not even a local Vegas number so I regretfully didn't answer it as it looked like spam. The doctor and staff were nice and helpful. This review is purely from the perspective of hold times, the hold music/messaging, and the endless transfers when you finally do reach someone. read more

First call was 1 1/2 hours on hold and I gave up. Tried again next day with the same result so I chose their call back option. never got a call. My doctor told me I might have to go in person, so I drove all the way to the Cathedral Rock location. The receptionist said she can't make a new patient appointment, but she emailed the new patient folks, and they would call me that afternoon or tomorrow. That was nine days ago. The individual who took our call to schedule the appointment was amazing, she had all the answers I had for our initial visit. Our initial contact with the intake staff at the front desk of the clinic was a little terse, I suppose she deals with a variety of individuals but she warmed up to us before we departed the clinic. As requested, we had taken time to fill-out all the medical history and pre-visit paperwork but none of that was on-file and we had to repeat the process, which was time consuming and frustrating. Having said that the intake technician was very helpful, understanding and professional. Overall, the team at Pulmonary Associates are exceptional, Dr. Stewart's PA is such a great person, she listens, ask important questions and made you feel very comfortable. Dr. Stewart is absolutely the best of the best, his experience was evident during the examination. He immediately puts you at ease and has not only a professional approach to your healthcare but clearly cares about his patients. There is major construction on the street in front of the clinic, confusing and difficult to see the clinic, you should give yourself a little extra time to find the clinic and park. Additionally, the waiting room is small, folks with a variety of respiratory issues, I will wear a mask for my next visit. The next test will be the follow-up on the CPAP supplies, while my experience with CPAP suppliers has not been good in the past I am hoping the company recommended will be the exception to my past experiences. read more

The female employee that supervises their referrals is impolite and unprofessional. In addition to providing poor customer service, she insisted that she needed to get my medical records which was causing a delay in scheduling my appointment. So I was extremely surprised to arrive at my appointment and learn that the PA did not have any of my medical records. I've yet to arrive for an appointment and wait less than 1 hour to be seen. In any other profession this would be unacceptable. The communication is poor, the PA we saw insisted that we schedule an appointment with Dr. Stewart, only for us to schedule a month out and be seen by another PA. After a month and two visits for lung problems, I do not feel that my loved ones health is being taken seriously. The practice itself is an older model home that seems to have been converted into an office. The waiting room is so packed full of other patients waiting to be seen that there is standing room only. Im typically not one to review anything, but Im so dissatisfied with the care my loved ones received, which at this point has been nothing but re-doing tests that were already done and not having answers, I think it makes sense to prevent another families the headache and heartache. The 2nd PA we saw and the receptionist were the best part of this whole experience, but all in all I wouldn't recommend this practice to my worst enemy. read more

I went to this office in fear yesterday after reading all the poor reviews and was pleasantly surprised. -office was empty so that might have helped -girls at the counter were friendly and helpful -got to see the PA (first time appt) within 5 min of my appt time and everyone was friendly and professional Overall it was a really good appt. Dr. Vivencio Navarro is the only physician who has ever shown that he truly cares. He always takes his time asks questions and if I have any questions he makes sure to really explain things to me so that I can understand what's going on or what procedures needs to be done he's even drawn pictures to explain it to me because I still quite understand. Yes their office is busy yes things can get crazy but he really genuinely cares and Las Vegas doesn't have many people like that these days much less Drs who are actually trying to help you live a little longer. I have been calling for an hour and repeated hold being told I am caller 1 only to get disconnected when whatever nitwit working the phones finally answers. But I go to the office just outside of UMC at 2000 Wellness Way that is when they are actually in the office out of 6 appointments I've only seen the Dr. 2 times the other 4 times was canceled due to "a schedule change" . I am now waiting to see Dr. Stewart and was just told they are running at least an hour behind. I see Dr. Orevello and I really like him and would give him 5 stars. The billing department is my issue. I met my maximum out of pocket last year without realizing it. The last time I was in I paid my copay and have been waiting over 7 months to get a $60 refund. Really? Every time I call I get a different story...for two months I was told that they were waiting for someone to approve the refund, after that they were waiting for someone to sign a check. Now, I am told that they are researching to find out when a check will be cut and I don't even get a return call (I have been waiting since May 14th). I went to the lung specialist because I could not breath and they found a 3 centimeter growth in my lung and it needed to be examined by a specialist. I went to the office and was wearing my mask the best I could with it covering my mouth because I am unable to breath which is the reason at the doctor to begin with. The lady at the front screamed at me like I was a child and refused to soften her heart to allow me to breath. I tried to comply with her but I began to become faint and I passed out. I had to leave and got no service from this doctor because I was unable to breath which is why I came to him in the first place. I am still terrified I might have lung cancer but will not know now or anytime soon. I just wish this doctor office would have compassion for those who can not breath and need their help. I was referred to go in to see Dan Hering after spending almost a year with a cough and being treated for everything under the sun! And having every test possible!!! Then I was told they found something in my left lung. I do not smoke so I could not understand what they could possibly have found! Well I had a Dr. Who was not giving up on finding out what it could be! She treated with with Steroids and my cough started to go away. They said I actually have Emphysema!!!!??? Are you serious? Well I came to this office and had to do breathing test. Uggh I hated that part of going here! I could not get a good deep breath that she wanted me to do and I had to redo it a bunch of times till she finally got the results she wanted for the Dr. The results were not bad after just being treated with the steroids I guess I am alive and breathing good! lol so far!!! Dan was very nice. He was very understanding , spent time listening to what I have been through and was not in any hurry to leave the room. Because I have allergies Dan wanted me to now wait till Feb sometime to go back for a Cat Scan of my Lungs to see if they have changed at all. Of course living in Nevada a lot of people have allergies and these things can happen as well as occupational as well. I am just hoping that when I go back for the CT he will say it is nothing to worry about!! I highly recommend if you need to see someone come see Dan! read more

Horrible experience. My PCP sent me to get this asthma and allergies checked out , but I can't even get into the office after my initial appointment. My previous 2 appointments have been canceled. The office has literally called me as I pulled into their parking lot to reschedule. They have no remorse for wasting your time or gas. They will say they don't have your paperwork, yet fail to realize you can pull your orders and paperwork online. I am not sure why they are lazy and don't want to work, but that is what it is. After two appointment being rescheduled and being booked out so far, I have to drop the doctor. If you have a M-F work schedule this location will be tough to work with you. The doctor is usually out weeks on end at a time, and you aren't notifed until the Dr's vacation, which could be the day of your appointment as you pull into the parking lot. Good luck! - read more

This review Is not good because of the office staff in particular Crstn-a aka (Ms.C). My father has been released from the hospital 3 weeks ago with request for follow up appoint within five days, which is important in order to breathe. Ms. C, I can only say needs additional training in the call center or in the ofc learning standard practice. Nothing she said matched the info that I nor others from the office or the website. I feel she bought her co-worker into her incompentce.The Coworker gave entirely different info than forwarded me to yet another person for tech support who immediately put me on hold. Lo and behold Ms. C picked up. it was obvious that she had put me on hold for 1.5 hours because when I used a different phone they picked up immediately as i was on hold on the other phone. I was sent non functioning links and for someone that could find no info on my father nor I since 2020. My father was less than a week from release of hospital and they were insisting release papers for his records. My father needs access to his doctors. Now!!!! He's breathing is more shallow and breathy and a clerk is making decision on his health, stop hiding behind a phone and when I was their on July 1, 2022 at 4;00 pm who were you. This is my official notice because your ofc doesn't have forms for written complaints but requires patients to consistently fill out forms you don't apparently keep. There are rules on how long you keep these items. Understand I'm not happy with his state of follow up appt. and this is proof that I've notified you in writing of any consequences because if his health has deteriorated based on the lack of access to his doctor that probably does not even know this is going on. These are not the times to mess with a man of a particular health age. I personally went to the office to fill out the POA paperwork again so they can communicate with me and get what you need for the Hospital report. In the mean time my father breathing is increasingly worse. The office manager has not called and it's a week later. With no phone number that I could call, nor email address, it left me with no choice but to leave my complaint on Yelp. It won't be the only site I leave his information. Office manager should return calls, initiate coaching and counseling of staff, have a process for complaints with follow up, have apathy, re-train staff and provide customers better customer service and if all theses things fail, schedule off, off, off and the last 2 stages of positive discipline. I repeat I don't have this problem with the doctor, its getting past the appt. takers mostly. Absolutely embodies what's wrong with our healthcare system. My mother was referred to this clinic because they saw a mass in her lungs. We initially saw Dr Stewart- older gentleman, nice guy, knowledgeable. He seemed to be ok. The problem is the staff. They don't care about you- my mom was scheduled a PET scan. Maria told us she'll call us as she had to get a PA from Culinary. days passed with my mom anxious to see when her appt was, kept calling the office, they said they'll call. Never did. She called the insurance, insurance said doesn't need a PA, to call desert radiologist instead. Desert Radiologist said it was scheduled but the nurse never called us back. next appointment, they ordered a biopsy. mind you, it was put in for stat. maria again told us she was gonna call us coz she had to get an approval. same thing. it took two weeks to get the test. two weeks for them to get the result. finally, our last appointment, we were referred to an oncologist. by this time, we already knew to expect the worse even if we heard no word from this office. saw the oncologist and asked why it took more two months to get the pet scan, biopsy and referral. well... because the staff at pulmonary associates don't care about you. this has already been stressful enough for my family, but had my mother not advocated for herself, she wouldn't even be able to get an appointment to an oncologist. just inexcusable incompetence. we have been patient with this office but when you're dealing with a time-sensitive issue, this is just unacceptable. I was assigned to Dr. Singh when being kept from the ER for an 11-day stay at UMC. A mediastinoscopy was performed, and I follow up with him every 3 months for my Sarcoidosis diagnosis (ha. It rhymed.) Please let me be clear when I say it's NOT Dr. Singh on which I am writing this review. The administrative staff at Pulmonary Associates are the absolute worst. After more than a year of visiting this office, I have heard them say terrible things about patients on nearly every visit. The manner in which they speak to patients on the phone is not acceptable in the least. They are condescending and heartless, demeaning and downright unprofessional. They look at each other while on the phone and roll their eyes, and then talk about the patient once the call has ended. I once called to request an appointment, as my symptoms had come back strong and fast - I called 8 minutes before closing and was put on hold for 34:59 - the phone system hung up on me at that point. They definitely forgot about me, and since it was a Friday, I had to wait until the following week to get ahold of someone, when I really didn't want to deal with them at all. Multiple girls behind the desk have asked me for a Jobvite to come work at Zappos while I was there. They've gone into detail about how miserable they are and how much they hate their job. It's clear to everyone in the waiting room that you are miserable, we can hear everything you say. What in the world makes you think I would want you to come work for the best company with your negative attitude and absolutely horrid customer service? We are, after all, a customer service company. Had appt at nine thirty waited five minutes after filling out paper work and met with back office staff.medical assistant was friendly and very attentive to my needs.Met with Linda nurse practitioner who was very knowledgeable and professional had a good sense of humor as well.Very impressed with overall experience will keep going back and I highly recommend Linda. read more

**Avoid this practice at all costs** I was released from the hospital with direct instructions from Dr Surapaeni to see a specific pulmonologist within 3 days of my release. I called the office of Dr Singh and they scheduled me for the next day at 3:45. I arrived for my appointment at 3:30 and the very rude receptionist said my appointment was for 2:20 and not 3:45. However, I know this to be incorrect because I had asked them to email me the patient packet so I would not need to arrive at 3:15 to complete it in the office. Anyway, I digress, the woman (receptionist) was not interested in offering to fix her mistake, fit me in at end of day or offer another appointment, she did nothing to be accommodating and was uninterested in the fact that I am sick. She basically looked at me and said "oh well". This is certainly not the quality of care I expect from my health providers or their care teams. These guys are terrible, I went to them under my Healthcare coverage which always paid the entire bill. They failed to notify me that I had a 74.00 outstanding balance, even though they had my phone number on my account, I got no mail from them, no notification, and then they reported it on my credit 2 1/2 years after the fact. Good thing I have credit monitoring. I talked with Arron on the phone, she apologized for doing it, told me the company was run very differently now, (except for me of course) acknowledged they should have called me and they didn't, and told me that while they made a mistake they wouldn't do anything about it. I paid it and will NEVER go there again, and am telling everyone about my experience. Note to Pulmonary Associates and Yelp. I have Verified Social Media. Started going to this Specialist this month for my breathing issues and Asthma. The clinic I go to is very older, but the other one I go to is more up to date. The staff is very friendly and so are the doctors. There is a wait sometimes, but that is to be expected in the Valley as all doctors are pretty busy. This star is for the staff and manager. My mom needs a refill from dr. I keep calling this office and left massages with staff so she promise me that medical assistance gonna call me back but no one respond for my call. I went in the office talk to the staff and asked her if I can speak to manager I hand her the prescription that they gave me but not the right one to the staff. She walked in to the room came back I told me that they need to discuss so I was waiting for long time and seem like no one care luckily I heard Dr. Singh voice and I start explain to him why I'm here. Dr. Singh take care the problem right a way. He's very nice dr. I was waiting for new prescription and one of the staff hand me the old prescription and gave me dirty look and I try to find out " Who is she" so I asked one of the staff and I found out that woman is "Manager" unbelievable Dr. Singh so nice but the office manager so bad not even want to talk and take care the problem. So lucky that Dr. Singh walk passed by me all else I might have to wait all day for my mother medication. "How sad" If manager doesn't want to take care the problem she shouldn't been there. I called the office multiple times to get the results, and all the front desk was saying was that Dr. Stewart had not reviewed it yet. It was taking him forever to review the results. What kind of doctor is he? I think he simply does not care about his patients. I even left a message for the office manager. Nobody, including his medical assistants, bothered to call me back. Absolutely terrible experience! I regret that I ever visited this office. I only wasted my time and money on cat scan that I still don't know the results if my sinus looks good or not.
