Pump it Up is Party planning down to a science! They make the whole process so easy! You start out in the lobby area where the kids have a safety briefing. From there you love on to room number one, which has a large slide, an obstacle course, and a large jump area, with some other fun stuff mixed in. Then you switch over to room two, which they can turn the lights off in and turn the black lights on. In this room there's a large inflatable that you try to run up as high as you can, an inflatable basketball area, and another large inflatable slide, plus a "wind tunnel" machine that makes hurricane strength winds, as well as some air hockey tables. After the kids are all played out, they are brought to the party room, where the staff handles dishing out pizza and cupcakes and pouring drinks, cleaning everything up, and helping the birthday child get and open the presents. They then handle all of the cleanup, and load all the presents neatly onto a cart and help you get everything out to your car! They do everything but drive you home! They also have a slideshow playing in the party room of all pictures from that day of everyone playing, and you have the option to purchase it. This makes the birthday process easy and care free. Clean, safe and indoors, Pump It Up inflatable party zone provides kids a high-energy hour of bounce-off-the-walls fun. When you enter the second inflatable jump room (I didn't get to see the first) you see three large inflatable structures. Directly ahead is a big yellow slide standing about 20 feet tall, six feet wide and an 80 degree angle going down. Immediately on the left is a large enclosed jungle gym. And in the back corner is an inflatable basket ball bounce court. All of the staff were extremely courteous and with each visit they give away some kind of freebie coupon. I was impressed with how clean Pump It Up is. The walls were clean and bright as if they had just been painted, though I doubt they were. It looks like they do a good amount of regular maintenance to keep the place as spotless as possible. The carpet wasn't worn, nor was the floor. For good measure there is a king-size bottle of hand sanitizer floating around so no kid leaves the inflatable zone germified. Pump It Up isn't just for parties, though it's great for those as well. But its a perfect place to take the kids so they can burn off some energy on a day when you can't get them to stop bouncing off the walls of your home. Bouncing off the walls is an acceptable, and preferred, activity at Pump It Up. read more

Don't know what this Mike S guy is talking about. Sounds like a troller to me. Stink bugs? Really? Like those are contagious or something? I have been here with my nephew recently for open jump. Attended birthday parties in the past, and special event jumps. Super clean in both of the jump rooms and the birthday room we were in. The staff is very attentive and seem very excited to be there. Love their energy. My nephew is autistic and one of the employees even took the time to help walk him through some of the inflatables. None of which were sticky. A little pricey for most families these days, but then again, what isn't? Its just one of those places that you feel nickel and dimed as a parent, for everything and anything. That aside... This place is fun for kids 3rd grade and below. You can bring your own cake or pre-packed snacks, but you can't bring your own food. You have to order their pizza. They also will provide a cake - I don't recommend their cake. Dairy Queen has way better cakes - cheaper too. Older kids and adults, save your money and go to Skymax Trampoline Arena in North Canton instead. read more

If you are looking to get bed bugs and stink bugs all over then by all means come here and bring the whole family. Staff does absolutely nothing and is kind of rude. The big slide on the left is very sticky and nasty. Pieces of equipment scattered all over the place. People put their shoes hat coat on the bench so nobody can sit down and the staff does nothing about it. Never coming back. I see why the stow location is no longer open. read more

This is a really nice idea for indoor kids activities, kids birthday parties and a general wear your kid out so they sleep good place. I was surprised how big this place is as they have two large rooms with inflatables as well as a couple rooms for parties. I would say the idea age for this place is probably for your 8-10 year old, but my 4 year old had a great time (and even I dabbled in some of the activities). Let me say this first before I get to the constructive criticism...I am not the safety police. Actually quite the contrary...I am the rub some dirt on it and get back out there guy. That being said I was a bit nervous watching some of the kids play here. Most of the things the kids were playing on I didn't have a problem with, but a couple of the inflatables looked like a broken bone waiting to happen. Think trampoline safety with a couple extra safeguards but also a couple other real possibilities to be injured otherwise. Also, the "safety" video before had was pretty much a joke as no one listened or really could even hear it. Seemed like a liability only/walking through the motions thing for me. But, all in all pretty solid idea and I'm sure my kids will be back - ill just be a bit cautious around them. read more

Fantastic experience for my daughters birthday party. Everything taken care of, not a worry about anything. We were approved to bring our own special touches, which a lot of places don't allow. They even took our stuff and set it up. As if the concierge level they provide for the party is not enough every staff member does it with TRUE enthusiasm. Took my kids there for a fun filled day on spring break I have been to Pump it up and have always had a great time however this time I did not. I went to race my son on the obstacle course and the worker thought it would be funny to pull out the mat from underneath me and I feel So now I have a big bruise on my leg and my wrist is swelled. I have had several parties at pump it up in stow 10 to be exact. I have also been to several there for friends and family. All were FLAWLESS or what appeared to be! My first party at pump it up Hartville sadly was very disappointing. The play rooms were fun. Kids had a blast but the most important part was miserable and rushed. The birthday girl didn't even get cake. It was understaffed. The employee cutting the cake told me to start handing out the gifts before my child was able to eat. I had to ask a guest to keep the gift log. No trash can for the wrapping paper so on the floor it went. The guests served themselves mostly. Half of my $140 cake was trashed! Isn't the reason you have a party at a facility like this to have it stress free? Well it was far from stress free and the employee was rude. What a mess. I put in a call the next afternoon and went back and forth with the owner whose responses was"I don't know what to say." We went back and forth for about 20 minutes until I eventually hung up because I only heard excuses and never once an apology. Bad experience! read more
