Crazy to be reviewing a gas station restaurant with 4 starts. But it truly serves pretty good food! The restaurant is attached to a gas station and servers cafeteria style. You order your main meal and get to pick 2 sides, also includes a roll. They always have chicken, but they also have a few other choices including fish on Fridays. There is seating or you can take it to go. Service is quick, sometimes very friendly, sometimes not as much. But you literally only spend a few minutes at the counter so who cares if you food comes out with a smile? All I know is it's quick and always good... and it's not fast food! read more

Friday night have fish. Every time I go if you don't get there before 6pm they are always out of fish for the night.

Food was horrendous. There is no mincing words here. If I cannot finish my own plate, it is unpalatable. We had fried chicken and sides which included a very unappetizing serving of macaroni and cheese. But the unintentionally funny billboard going northbound on the freeway sucked us in when we were driving southbound. When ordering food I almost asked the teenage girl taking my order if she was the person on the billboard- I relented and kept my mouth shut as one does not insult a server. The place doubles org is connected to a gas station and convenience store, so there is that! A bad deal today there ,bought ten meals got card punched after each purchase the. Today when I went in for my free meal , it was $1.30 over the limit posted on my punch card ,so. I put out $1.30 and 7 cents tax ,she ; said that will be $1.74 ,I wrote the figure out on the napkin it was $1.30 plus 7 cents tax ($1.37) she couldn't help me because that's what the cash register said and there wasn't any manager there . Why are we paying for tax that is free after buying ten meals I paid our tax on e every meal I bought ! There is no tax on a sale of $0.00 , Bob what are you doing with tax money over above the sale of your meals ? ? Bonus Bobs retirement fund ? That is about as low as any one could go trying to nickel and dime on us hard working /retirees ,all I want to be treated HONESTLY AND FAIRLY WHICH OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T HAPPEN WHEN SETTING UP YOUR CASH REGISTERS . My husband and I have been getting their fish on Fridays for more than a couple years. It is by far the best fish! We love that the coating isn't greasy and the fish (cod) is hot and flakey. The ladies are wonderful even though they have a line waiting of people waiting for them. They have never gotten any of our orders wrong (can't way that for a fast-food place near by). They are right when their website says they are known for their cole slaw. I always get it because it has a mild tangy/sweet taste and the cabbage is just right, not too soft or hard. It's nice that we can see them making up each container but they've never missed any of our items. We highly recommend their cod over any other "fast food" place in Fond du Lac. I did have their fried shrimp once when they ran out of cod and I was surprised how big the shrimp was. Done perfectly and not greasy either. Laura D. read more

10/4/19....Went to pump n pantry tonight around 630 pm. Waited in line for a 12 piece chicken bucket dinner only to get very pissed off. Plenty of chicken but no sides. Out of Wedges, No mashed potatoes, basically nothing, for a dinner meal. Ended up only getting 12 pcs, of chicken, no dinner rolls, no salad, just plain old chicken, was not very happy person. And the young blonde haired girl in glasses, joking about it. She was not wearing any gloves, and went in back to get more chicken and seen her wiping her nose with her bare-hands and then come up front to serve people. Good prices. Edible food but once you see how filthy the lobby carpet and bathrooms are you can't help but worry about what the kitchen must look like. The carpet honestly looks like it has not been cleaned EVER. You can barely tell what color it might have been originally, It looks like someone pour's a quart of oil at the entrance once a week and waits for it to be tracked around the lobby. The light switch in the bathroom looks like it has never been cleaned either. Sitting at a table and looking at the carpet makes it impossible to eat. I know it might sound like I am exaggerating but I promise you that I am actually being nice. Hands down the most disgusting restaurant I have ever been in. read more

I am a 65 year old disabled senior who frequents restaurants by having friends or family pick up food orders and have them delivered to my home. I can not always manage to do such trips without assistance. Today, we ordered 2 fish meals with side orders and extra tartar sauce and cocktail sauce from Pump N Pantry. The staff failed to provide the tartar sauce and cocktail sauce so when the food was opened for use at home, we had to do without...which really ruined the meal for us. When I called to discuss this, I talked to the female manager who would not pass me onto the owner. The manager stated: "this was an honest mistake due to a fast paced dinner hour"....she offered no remedy or apology....she expected me, a disabled senior with limited options to be understanding of the businesses' problem. I am astonished about the cavalier response by the staff...I have to rely on vendors and volunteers to provide for my needs, which I of course pay for. Pump N Pantry has lost my future business...one has to wonder what the owner thinks of this scenario....I certainly don't know his thoughts except that he allows crappy behavior by staff. read more

Have a friend that got gas there on September 20th his truck started running funny after that took it in and they said he had a large amount of water in his tank he then went to the store and they stated that they know about it on September 23rd he has tried contacting bob the owner numerous times and has gotten no response he also has went there and bob is never there i really dont think its good business to ignore people especially seeing they knew about the problem read more

I purchased a 12 piece chicken bucket for my family and a 12 piece chicken dinner for my brother's family which consisted of 12 pieces of chicken, 5 dinner rolls, macaroni salad and potato wedges. My brother informed me that the macaroni salad had paper in it so I called to ask for a different one, but was told "you ordered the meal on Tuesday and it's now Friday, I'm not saying you're lying, but I have no proof because I didn't see it." I explained to her that my brother just told me about it last night, but she didn't care. I buy large orders from this place often and drive for an hour just to give it to other family members. It sucks because I took this meal to my brother (whose a chef) only to have him say that he was DISGUSTED with his order. One of my other brothers wants to take chicken to our brother today, but I told him NO because they're not very sanitary if paper is inside of their food. If I could select -1 star I would. Customer service at the food counter is horrible. They obviously don't care if you purchase something or not.

I came here because there was no line, while the freeway Kwik Trip was full. It is now obvious why. The fuel lanes here were covered in spilled diesel, haphazardly "cleaned" with a pitiful amount of kitty litter, and my shoes may very well be ruined now. The nozzles were covered in grease, as well. Then adding insult to injury, they overcharged my credit card by about five times what the actual gas bill was. Save yourself a lot of anguish--don't go here. read more
