It's nice getting the pictures throughout the day and getting to see my baby girl having really caring people around. She seems to really love it there. Our experience has been with the infant room so far. However, I intend to keep sending our daughter as she grows up. It's hard being a brand new parent and sending the little one off. Little Sprouts has continued to make me feel like we made a great choice.

She handed my 3 year-old Ritz Crackers, which he ate and consequently suffered anaphylaxis. The Little Sprouts administrators acted too busy to be bothered by this situation. One almost hung up on me when I called to ask her to take a second look for my son's Benadryl while my husband drove over to respond. Yes, they had lost his life-threatening medication. Then, they lied to us about what had happened, which could have killed him because information is power and we did not have much time to save his life. Even after we had to administer an Epinepherine (Epi) Pen and call 911, an administrator claimed that he "shouldn't have had a reaction to Ritz Crackers" (first ingredient: wheat flour). We spent the evening in the ER and never brought our son back to this terrifying place.

We had bought a new home faster than expected so I wasn't able to research as much this time around. The price difference made me worrisome at first (you get what you pay for they say) and going from $3600 a month to more like $1800 maybe we wonder. Yes, I know everything is more expensive in the city but when you live there for 10+ years some things stick with you. Needless to say I was unbelievably lucky!! This was so much better. Yes better!!! The teachers he had as an infant (Lindsay, Amanda, and Justine) were everything. I could feel how much they adored him in no time at all. I had always felt he was in safe hands in Boston but here he was loved. The class sizes are wonderful. The rooms are set up great. The projects they do are creative. He learns so much. Fast forward to COVID-19- the daycare was closed for 100 days going back was scary because my son would be in a new room with new teachers and new schedule. Andrea the Asst Director reached out personally (as in directly to me, not a generic mass email) to answer ALL my questions/concerns. My son has food allergies and they all know I worry like crazy about him but they never judge my crazy, they calm me down by giving me all the answers I need. Things are different now not being able to pop in the class to see how he's doing and having to drop off him off at the door, but when I bring him in and his arms reach out for them I know they are doing everything right. For a shy child to be so sure about someone you just know they are treating him the way you would. His new teachers have taught him so much. He brings home amazing art work, I get photos and videos daily, and reports on what he eats, when he naps.. everything. I brought him to a gymnastics class where he was the best behaved toddler there. He knew how to get in line, wait his turn, play along with others and mirror the teacher. These are not things he learns at home as an only child. This is the doing of his amazing teachers!! I would recommend this center a 1000 times over. I trust them with my heart every day and I never worry. Its his second family and they are the very best!

First, and most importantly, the teachers and staff are amazing. The communication with the management team was always timely and we appreciated the transparency that was always provided around any teacher changes within classrooms (this was super important to us coming into the school). Any questions that I emailed the administrative team (usually after hours) were generally at least acknowledged that night (either with an answer or letting me know a timeframe I could expect an answer). Our boys were happy with the teachers and staff they interacted with (and even now when we pass by the school while driving they ask if they can stop and say hello) and simply RAVED about Chef Dan's cooking. The classrooms are spacious, clean and organized and we felt confident sending our kids there even during the COVID pandemic because of their thorough cleaning protocols and safety measures. We loved the structured curriculum that included the philosophy of learning while playing. Music and math were essentially part of most lessons throughout the day! Phonics and reading development were worked into the curriculum as well (some other places we looked at included these programs but they were an additional cost). Cost is usually a factor when selecting a daycare and we were very happy that the rates at Primrose were competitive with other similarly situated centers. We truly saw the value in what we were paying and the care and educational support and experience the kids were receiving. In total, we were at the school for nearly 3 years and one or both of our kids were in toddlers, preschool, pre-K, the private kindergarten program as well as the (newly created during COVID) school-age remote learning programs and both kids attended full-time. We are thankful to be part of the Primrose School of Chelmsford family and have met teachers and friends that we are confident will be in our lives for some time going forward.

During our time, they have continued to exceeded every expectation we had. We started our journey with Primrose in April of 2021, when I was returning back to work after being remote from the pandemic. I was so impressed with their clean facility, communication with parents, and their curriculum. The teachers and staff have encouraged and supported my son in so many ways and we see his confidence soaring. It's so easy sending him in everyday because he loves to go to school. We know when he's there that he is safe, cared for, and having the best time. I really loved the communication and pictures through the app and whenever I needed anything, Anne and Heidi were always right there to help. We couldn't have asked for better experience!

My oldest…read morestarted at 2 years old (now 6) and my youngest started at 3 months old, so while disconnected by age and child, we've essentially gone through start to finish. There are a few things that really stand out strong for me at TLE in comparison to the two other daycares we've been at when my oldest was between 0-2 yrs old. All the staff at TLE know my kids by name, they say hi to us in the hallways and even though they have assigned teachers, they all float periodically so that they know ALL the kids. This makes transitions that much easier to new rooms and teachers. The daycare is filled with children's art work on nearly every space of wall in the classrooms (a stark difference to a prior daycare that had NONE), and they engage their teachers in monthly bulletin board contests using children's artwork. They come out so amazing! They host pot lucks and other family events throughout the year with animals, magicians, Bubbles the Elephant, games and food. There's so many staff that are consistent and love what they do, and it shows by how well they care for the children. They are open to feedback and work well to make accommodations. They have really great safety and food policy practices that make me feel very comfortable with my daughter with allergies. They have a really great curriculum and before my daughter even made it to Kindergarten, she was reading at TLE. When she "graduated" from TLE, they put on a really special graduation ceremony, and made a keepsake "yearbook", complete with superlatives for each child. Really amazing. Very happy to be here at TLE and always recommend it to people looking around for a new daycare.

A Yelp member with only one review that is a 1 star is always suspect and I'm surprised that the Yelp filter did not hide it. In the time our child has been at Half Pints, everyone that works here have nothing but professional and bright. Cathy the owner is 100% the complete opposite of what the other reviewer stated. She is friendly, warm, engaging and an extremely knowledgeable at running a large daycare center. Any issues we have brought to her have always been handled right away and with extreme professionalism. She truly has always put our child's care first above of money. The comment about her being only concerned about money is actually laughable. We have always made our daycare payments on time. I'd imagine if parents were behind with their payments, they would be spoken to about it. Perhaps the other reviewer couldn't pay on time and got a warning, as they should. All the teachers at HPLC work extremely hard to care for our infants, toddler, and kids and they deserve to be paid for it. After going on many tours and comparing rates, they were right around the middle of the road. In fact, they are the only center we found that offer 10 days of free tuition to use for vacation or sick days. The co-directors, Cathy, Amy or any of the teachers at HPLC are always available to chat with or ask questions. It's a great comfort that they have a nurse on site, the co-director Amy. The center itself is modern, well equipped with toys, activities and is very safe with a security system and controlled access. The indoor gymnasium is an amazing addition that most centers do not have. Perfect for days it is too hot, wet or cold to go out in. Our child has been thriving here and has learned a lot from her teachers and socializing with other children. Everyone we have interfaced with has extensive knowledge and experience to be in this profession. I don't get the comment about teachers always being on phones. HPLC has a strict no phone during work policy and they enforce it. I highly recommend checking them out for your child.
