As expected of a Punjabi restaurant the naans are on point...the bullet naan is the spiciest one I ever had loved every bit of it but my friends face turned so red for having just one bite ....the punjabi goat curry is really yummy and the chicken tikka masala was ok. Went here for the first time after looking forward to it for a few weeks. THE FOOD WAS GREAT WITH GOOD PRICES. However I am happy to have ordered takeout because I had walked in to pick up my food & waitress that was working instinctively looked towards the door & had a smile on her face. But when she got a good look at me, that sweet smile wiped off her face & she looked back at the table she was serving n then looked back at me n finally greeted me. She didn't seem happy that I had entered. I am BROWN. She looked Hispanic & the table she served were White customers and the energy & tone of the environment that she had set for me, I felt was racism & discrimination. I did not feel welcomed. On top of that, the next worker I encountered was the girl with the long ponytail that was tasked to bring food out from the kitchen. She looked at me & I had said I was there to pick up an order. I was blatantly ignored n she went back into the kitchen without acknowledging me. The only time I felt welcomed was when the lovely girl with the black framed glasses helped me pick up & pay. The only friendly employee that works in the front. The rest of my experience there in that short time frame made me not ever want to dine-in. Especially if that would be the only waitress to serve me. She was rude & very cold n unwelcoming. If you are a person of color, takeout is best to order in the Springdale location. That waitress does not deserve any tips & has all the potential to ruin business for this location. I will not be coming back here & will be taking my services to the other location instead. read more

THIS IS THE BEST INDIAN FOOD!! My friend would be so proud of me. She would usually bring me vegetables with curry spices. She is actually from there. The Naan Bread is to die from If you havent already tried the Naan Bread with the Coconut, Please go out of the box and try it!!! I also had the Chicken with Mango Sauce. I had the mild and medium. If you like spices that is the way to go..However if Spices is not your thing Medium is the way to go!!! Service is out standing. You can sit where ever you want!! She refills your tea alot LOL!!! Every time my wife and I go to Springdale regardless of whether we're hungry or not we eat here. The food is so good and there's so many flavors and spices it is a wonderful experience. If you are in Springdale and craving Northern Indian Cuisine the R&R curry is your place. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming. The employee are extremely nice and polite. Whenever I have questions about an item or dish they are more than helpful to answer any questions. They have two options when it comes to the dishes, a lunch and a dinner size. The lunch portion is available during the lunch time frame. The dinner portions are very large. I have yet to leave R & R curry not completely stuffed. The price point could get on the higher side but I am more than happy to pay $12-15 dollars for a quality dish. Hands down, our favorite Indian food in this area. I don't know what people are talking about re: terrible service for just-okay food. Our service is always GREAT; in fact the wait staff (or some of them) recognize us on sight and almost greet us at the door. They automatically know that I'm going to want a sweet lassi to drink (sweetened yogurt drink), so they immediately bring it out. Not only is the food DELICIOUS, but they WILL alter it to your spice preferences, and they have a selection of meats available to choose from to add to your dishes if you don't want to go vegetarian. The naan is usually a bit spicy to me and I can do without the cilantro that's all over most varieties, but it's very flavorful. (We like Keema Naan, which is stuffed with ground lamb.) My favorites are the Shahi Korma, which is a dish with a creamed curry, selection of veggies and nuts, and the Butter Lamb (or Butter Chicken--both are delicious). They also have a very interesting cumin jasmine rice that is a nice addition to their entrees, and a deep-fried appetizer stuffed with meat that I love but can't remember the name of. It leans a bit on the expensive side if you go there for dinner, but they always have interesting specials and lunch is cheaper. Highly recommended, and note also they've renamed themselves Punjab Kitchen, but they have the same food and the same service, so far. read more

I ordered a non vegetarian sampler and it was delicious. The server was kind and patient. They were willing to make substitutions on the sampler since I don't eat ice cream. The Samosas were god but the skin was a little thick. The vandaloo lamb was a little sweet, tangy and tomatoe. The black lentils were the best thing I ever ate. I was thankful to see this place open just across the street from where I work. I told my wife about it and we decided to come on a weekend. When we arrived, we were told we could sit anywhere. We chose a spot and our drink order was taken immediately by a nice man. We put in an appetizer order for vegetable samosa and began to read the menu. It was all fairly familiar stuff for an Indian restaurant. One thing I noticed is that they have a camera directly on the tandoori oven, which is fed to a flat screen in the dining area. That's a pretty cool touch. The samosa arrived after a short while. My wife and I both thought it was pretty good. She liked it better than Flavors, although I thought it was about the same. We tried placing our order with the same guy that took our drink and appetizer order, but apparently he's just the host. He went to get someone else to take our order. She was...well, kind of slow. Not physically, but I get the feeling she didn't comprehend English that was spoken at a normal pace. Not a huge deal, but I did have to ask more than a couple of times if food was served communally (typical of Indian food) or if it came individual. After saying it a few times, she said they could serve it however. I didn't care but it would help in ordering. We ended up going with chicken biryani, butter chicken, and garlic naan. We ordered mild because my wife doesn't like really spicy food and we had our 6 year old with us. I like my food spicy but I'm not real picky in that regard. It took a while for the food to come out. That's fine, though. I kind of expected it because it's been that way at just about every Indian place I've been to where I ordered from a menu. When our food arrived, I immediately noticed that the butter chicken gravy had a color that was not typical of the dish (from my experience). It was pink. I didn't care because it's all about how something tastes. Well...it didn't have a taste. In fact, none of the food did. It was all incredibly bland. You're probably thinking to yourself, "You ordered it mild!" You'd be right. However, that doesn't mean it should be void of any flavor. Even the naan had ZERO flavor. How is that possible with GARLIC naan? The flavors I have come to expect from Indian food (not spice, but actual flavor and even aroma) were non-existent. The gravy in the butter chicken actually had a runny texture. I get the feeling that it was very watered down. Butter chicken gravy should be thick. Or at least thicker than water. The biryani...well, it was there. No flavor at all. None. After the samosa, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I was let down. The other Indian places I've had locally simply put this place to shame. I don't think this place offers a very good value for the money considering the food quality. It hasn't been open that long, so I'll give it a few more weeks and go back for lunch with some work friends. Maybe I'll be more impressed or, at least, satisfied. I'll update this review when I go back. Also, aside from the host (who also filled drinks and bussed tables) the rest of the staff was kind of unfriendly. That left the service just being ok. I did feel a little like they thought I should appreciate being in their place of business instead of the other way around. I don't need a parade...but how about a smile? The place was clean, so there is that. The host cleaned a table right next to us while we were still there. The smell of the cleaner was quite strong so I'd recommend they delute it a bit. They sure deluted my butter chicken gravy. read more

Tried R & R Curry for the first time...I loved it! I had Curry Goat and my wife had Palaak Lamb. Both were absolutely amazing. I completely recommend this restaurant for anyone who likes authentic Indian food. And the staff was very hospitable and even a little funny at times! Great spot! read more

Sub-par Indian food. Thin naan. Dry rice. Ordered over $100 worth of food to-go. Of that food, I ordered 2 orders of lamb. The lamb was so gamey-tasting and dark looking I was almost sure that it was goat instead. However, it tasted so bad that I couldn't eat anymore. I called immediately when I tasted it and spoke to the guy who cooked it and he assured me it was lamb. I explained how strange it tasted and he says "What do you want me to do?". After my silence on the phone (because I was so shocked) he then offered me a free entree. Come to find out, I got food poisoning from this horrible lamb meat. They should be ashamed and definitely knew that this meat was no good to be serving out to their customers. As an avid Indian food lover I will never eat here again, and you shouldn't either. read more

I have ordered from here 4 times in the last week. I believe this is by far the best Indian cuisine restaurant in the area. One unique feature they have is you can order main dishes from the "sides" without rice. I am diabetic so I order two main dish "sides" and a side of rice. I have been going thru the menu with my ordering and I have yet to be disappointed. They offer 5 spice levels, I recommend medium, unless you are used to spice, the "spicy" is a little much for most but has excellent flavor. I haven't been brave enough to try "Indian Spicy". I had the same experience as the last reviewer. My chicken curry wasn't good. The curry was bad since they used milk instead of coconut milk. I know because it was lumpy and I tried to make it with milk at home before. It was expensive and you get hardly any food. SORRY I WAS SO EXCITED TO HEAR ABOUT THIS PLACE. Very disappointed!!! I've been here at least 4 or 5 times now. Every time the food has been excellent. The Chicken Tikka Masala is wonderful! The Bengan Chicken and Butter Chicken were equally tasty. We also had Mango Chicken which had a light sweetness to it. We were worried that it might be too sweet but wanted to try something new. It was perfect. It's hard to say what my favorite dish is because everything we've had was wonderful. Mango Lassi was a very tasty drink. I believe the dessert we tried was Gulab Jamun. It was served cold with a syrup. I think it would have been better had it been warm but we were told it's traditionally served cold. After writing this review I'm now craving Naan. I may have to run out and pick up something from here for supper. read more

The food was fine. It certainly wasn't the best Indian I have had in the area, but it wasn't the worst either. The reason for the 2 star rating was mostly based on the service, or more accurately the LACK of service. We went on a Sunday afternoon, it was not very busy, however after we were seated it took at least 15 minutes to get our drink order. I should have known that was a bad sign but we decided to stay and hope for the the best. For our patience we were rewarded with another 15 minute wait before our order was taken, and an additional 35-40 minutes before our food actually got to our table. All the while our waitress offered drink refills that showed up 10 minutes later, and at the end of the meal we asked for to go boxes that never showed up. Eventually I had to go ask for the check so that we could leave. In summary, if you don't have 2 hours to sit on your hands and wait for average food, find somewhere else to go. read more

This place is just absolutely phenomenal. If you're comparing this place to other other Indian joints in Fayetteville or Bentonville, pick this. It doesn't have a buffet but the portions are massive and the food is SO so fresh! The service is impeccable! Everyone is friendly and so eager to please! There was even an old grumpy man in here tonight that was complaining about tiny little things (like he wanted a side of a certain sauce and they brought him what they thought he asked for and he got upset and then was upset because it wasn't spicy enough. Eye roll*) and the sweet waitress was just so kind and polite to him through it all! I have a pretty high tolerance for heat and get everything spicy and it's always perfect!
