The administrative and clinical staff are amazing! The dentist is very honest! I needed an implant and she flat out told me that other places could do it cheaper than she could because they have on site facilities that could manufacture them. Prior to seeing her I had gone to another dentist that told me I need a full mouth scaling which I had refused because I knew I didn't and she confirmed that I did not. As long as she exists in this area, I will not have anybody else as my primary care dentist. read more

Say " it's patients responsibility to know what their insurance pays" yet when they preform a service any your mouth is open for 2hours, and you can't understand what their saying because they don't speak English clearly! Houman is good and gives a near pain-free shot. He has a major problem with his front office staff. Two women were literally having a verbal fight right in front of all patients in waiting area over who was doing what wrong and who was right in her ways. Ridiculous. I saw Dr. Dehdashti thinking I might need a new crown. After careful examination he informed me that my existing crown is still in good shape. I had a dark spot by the gum line and Dr. Dehdashti removed the small cavity and placed a filling. It worked out well. I feel that Dr. Dehdashti is honest and conservative. This was an amazing experience and not in a good way. Issues with insurance. The office called on Sunday to cancel the appointment. Then I jumped through hoops with the insurance company and the office. After a lot of effort I made the appointment and got all of the folks on the same program. Then the dentist explained that he only took emergency appointments. I started to tell him about the challenges around making the appointment. He took a very condescending approach. Basically he threw me out of his office. I am not angry, guess the word is shocked. I have seen a lot of bad customer treatment in my day but never to this level by a professional. WOW! read more

This is the worst dentist I've ever been to - don't come here. She doesn't know what she is doing. She drilled down my back teeth without even considering the fact that now my front teeth will be hitting each other. I came back the next day in pain because of the shifting in my teeth, and she refused to acknowledge she did anything wrong, and didn't do anything to try to remedy my situation. I have so far, broken a tooth, had to have a retouch on a prior root canal because of all the stress on that tooth. My smile and jaw line has completely changed, my bite is all messed up with all the pressure on a few teeth. I have seen another Dentist and it is going to cost me thousands of dollars to try to fix what she did. I've already spent $1,000 on the the root canal, now I have to replace all the crowns she ruined that will be a few thousand as well, and don't even know what can be done to my natural teeth that she ruined. I have no idea how she is still practicing as a dentist, this was a horrible experience and her office should be closed down. read more

Wow. I am surprised to see earlier bad reviews! I do notice that those few reviews were problems with office staff and not the dentist himself. All I can say is that, as someone who has had pretty traumatic dentist experiences in the past, Dr. Dehdashti was phenomenal. I came in for emergency services (broken tooth) while on vacation, and I can't say enough about how great my experience was. He is kind and I felt safe. And he took his time, being very careful to ask me over and over if everything felt natural to me (not just looked OK). My broken tooth looks and feels good as new! And honestly, I don't know how previous staff were; but the staff who greeted me, and the dental assistant who worked with the doctor during my repairs--all were very friendly and professional. I would seriously consider flying back to Florida for dental work just to have this guy again. read more

Kinda a little weird. Equipment out of the 1950's. The doctor is great. The office is not run well at all. Not too friendly (in the office) either. Again, the doctor (DDS) is very fine... he needs new equipment and a new office manager and more attention to appointments, schedule and manners.m The doctor gets a four star and the office a one star. read more

I had a few horrible experiences in this office. The doctor is very nice and seems to know what he's doing (until you get home and notice all the mistakes he's made) but the staff are awful. The dental hygienist doesn't know what the heck she's doing and refused to speak English. The office calls to remind you of appointments you've never made so they can charge you a missed appointment fee. I've had nothing but headaches from this place, both from attitudes from the staff and bad dental work. My fillings seem to have melted after 3 weeks and after my last appointment I had severe swelling and bleeding at the injection site. I kept calling to try to get in to see the doctor about it, but had to go to my GP instead as the office waited over a week to call me back... by which time I was out of town and "missed my appointment" that was never made in the first place. I have been going to Dr. Dehdashti's office for 5 years. His staff is very professional and courteous. I usually do not like going to the dentist, but Dr. Dehdashti made me feel very comfortable and explained all my options to me. I have had 2 roots canals and 4 crowns done. I would like to reply to your incorrect reply to me. My first visit was not even for an exam your mgr angie wss a meet and greet. What you said I demanded was false, you may well be a good dentist but your office staff is lacking. You are on delta dental insurance, they confirmed that on my complaint on you not honoring it, my co pay is $5 but your office staff said they do not take less then $15. I will contact delta again stating that you do not take their insurance as well as contacting the state. I asked angie when there to call delta she refused. I am now with another dentist I am happy with that has a great and honest office staff that yours is total opposite read more

BEWARE...STAY AWAY This dentist is a scam artist and I told him so. My wife and I went in for a six month cleaning. We have always seen a dentist in the past 30 years making sure we get teeth cleaning. This office has x ray equipment that reminded me of when I was a kid in high school 45 years ago with x rays on paper slides of 2" square. BUT he told us both that we had to do major work, with cavities, cracked fillings etc. We authorized only teeth cleaning. The hygienist spent less than a half hour on each of us. We have insurance that pays for cleaning, but when my wife went to check out, they informed us that we had periodontal cleaning at an additional cost of $70.00 each. We know better. The hygienist mentioned to us both that our teeth were in good shape. This seems to be a typical practice of this guy, preying on the elderly who don't have the fortitude to stand up to this kind of scam. read more

We couldn't be happier with Family Dentistry and Dr. Dehdashti. Got my wife right in and next to no wait time when we arrived. Assistant was great and the doctor was just the best.
