I'm puzzled by the amount of negative reviews there are on this page. My experience at the store was excellent and I actually purchased a kitten! Let me just start off by saying, it's painfully obvious that majority of the negative reviews here are written by animal rights activists. I get the whole "adopt don't shop" thing you guys have going on but maybe if the animal rescue groups in Westchester hasn't made it extremely difficult to adopt, I wouldn't have went the purchasing route. (Send me a message and I would love to share my experience with a couple animal rescues in Westchester). Back to Westchester P&K --- I went on a Friday evening and the store was decently packed. I was able to walk around and be assisted quickly though. Megan is probably one of the friendliest pet store employees I've ever met. She was extremely polite, patient and friendly. I was able to meet a couple different kittens and was allowed as much time as I needed to play and interact with them. Not once was I rushed to wrap up my playtimes with the kittens and I was not pressured into the purchase. Any ways, I decided on a kitten I wanted and was given a price. BECAUSE I'VE DONE MY HOMEWORK, I already had a budget set in mind. The price that was quoted to me was only a couple hundred dollars over my budget. It worked out perfectly and Megan worked as fast as she can to complete my purchase. Overall, it was a very very good experience and my new kitten's been energetic, eating well and using her litter box with no issues. Some of the negative reviews here: - "The animals are kept in tiny cages" --- I've been to many animal shelters and pet stores and let me just tell you, the cages are all the same size. - "The animals were overpriced and the store took advantage of covid-19 to jack up the prices" --- Just say you're poor and move along. It's a business. They are not a charity. Maybe check yourself in the mirror and settle for a mud instead of a pure bred. You do not NEED a pure-bred animal. - "These animals definitely come from mills" --- I don't think there's a pet store on earth that doesn't get their puppies/kittens from mills. Again, if you're that concerned about it, go adopt one from the pound. TL;DR: My experience at the store was great. I would highly suggest you have a minimum $2500 budget before visiting. If you're uncomfortable with animals possibly coming from puppy/kitten mills... don't go. Go to the pound and call it a day. Nice staff members here. read more

If I could give this place a zero, I would. They're are such a SCAM and I'm not sure how they're still legally operating. I purchased my dog for $6,000 when he was a few weeks old. He is now 3 years old. His paperwork stated he wasn't operated on, which was my goal to buy a pure breed poodle and possibly mate him with a female. And then..... when I took him for his first visit at the Veterinary office, I was told he actually got neutered and his paperwork stated otherwise. So they falsified information just to get the money! So careless and I wish I would've took legal action against them. Paid SO MUCH money to be scammed! read more

The owner is complete trash and responds to bad reviews with total disrespect and without any care at all. Their emergency text is a joke and good luck getting in touch if you call after you purchased your new furry friend. It's pretty much impossible. We "rescued" our Morkie, Lucy, for $3000. Once I walked in I could feel negative vibes and you can immediately tell the animals weren't treated properly. So it was like rescuing her. I feel terribly sad for the fur babies and I can only hope this place gets shut down and the owner banned from having anything to do with animals. She's a real piece of work. My experience has been terrible with Westchester puppies and kittens; I mean horrible. I never knew people in a business could be so disrespectful, not only with the fact that they don't even respond but the fact that none of the puppies or kittens are registered, even as a business that deals with animals registered, meaning that you don't know what you are getting. This business is a smoking mirror, and I am sure the few positive reviews are fake. I paid $4,900 for my kitten, and they not only claimed it was pure but also explained that the high price was because the breed and breeder were of high quality when that was just a pitch to catch me in their trickery. This has been a total regret just thinking of the price and quality is so disappointing. This animal mill should be closed, and we should all report it to better business. Well, I know I am. I was surprised to see negative reviews since I have had such a positive experience here. I got my toy poodle and my tonkinese kitten here and they are both extremely wonderful and very healthy. My vet has commented many times about how excellent both my pup and kitten are and how impressed he is with their health. No health issues for either. I was very concerned about my kitten and I texted the staff and they got back to me immediately with kind and very helpful instructions. I felt very well taken care of and supported as a new owner. I was very happy to be able to meet many puppies and kittens during our visits to enable us to pick the right ones for our family. I observed the staff treating the animals with great care. It made me feel confident in my purchases. We were not rushed and I felt that the staff really listened to what we were looking for and gave us options to consider. Their animals are not inexpensive so if you are looking for a bargain, look elsewhere. I purchased two " munchkins" that they kept in their store an extra two months to starve them so they would appear smaller when they finally let me take them home. One of them was not a munchkin but grew to full size and developed severe kidney failure and died after two years. I was devastated and contacted the store and they sold me another cat that was supposed to be a micro kitten. It also grew to full size. So as the saying goes "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." The store is not reputable and it is a mill for puppies and kittens. Go to the local animal shelter instead. I found out at the veterinary emergency clinic in green burg New York that the animal store is dealing with a couple of law suits. I found this strange Facebook page from with the same store as mine!!! Same store location, similar negative health symptoms like vomiting diarrhea and extreme weight loss, young cat, and similar thousands of more dollars spent to keep the cat alive. Hi everyone, So please be careful of this business the owner is very unprofessional. I'm having a horrible experience. Please please be careful! Originally I went there to adopt a kitty. My fiancé and I saw the cutest kitty we had named him "Baloo". When we purchased the kitty the sales representative had promised us a healthy cat. So we got the paper work done the cat was roughly $4000. It was gift to one of my nieces. So we took him home and exposed him to my Persian cat at home "Winter" They were playing getting along fine, but something was off with the kitty. He would not stop shaking his head, scratching, and I became worried. So I cut his matted hair Poor baby had flakey skin, and crusty ears. My cat Winter has never gotten sick to be honest I wasn't familiar with these symptoms. I had to take the kitty back and tell them he needed to see a vet. I was worried and upset because I wasn't sure if my Winter was going to get sick. I was so angry this was happening because the day of the purchase the sales representative promised me a healthy cat It took them over a month to find out the kitty had ringworm. My vet took a look and knew right away my Winter had ringworm Her hair started falling off, she was scratching her ears until they bled. My family is going thru a traumatic experience. I've never seen my cat like this. My fiancé and I broke out with with ringworm. I asked the owner for a reimbursement. It was their fault my cat was going thru a traumatic experience . In the end I didn't want to risk my niece getting ringworm. If I would've been more careless she could've, what else is in that store besides fungus? During these times they need to be extra careful We're still in a pandemic. COVID is still around they should be more careful, clean and on top of the business and theses poor animals don't deserve this treatment. When I asked for the reimbursement the owner kept yanking my chain. I need a full report from your vet. So I have him that and the medical bill. He then agreed and told me he would reimburse me the money. Now he is telling me that he is only covering the kittens medical bill. I asked him if he spoke English because he wasn't making sense he told me to take my adult cat to the vet and he would reimburse me.. My thing is he can't get away with this. We purchased a Siberian Husky and his poop has been runny ever since. We took him to your hospital in queens for the first visit and they confirmed he had an ear infection, tested positive for parasite in fecal and it seems like he is not getting better. The dog is very irritable and just like not himself. They gave me medication for his illness but he doesn't seem to get better what do you suggest I do! AND this was the piece of shit at the place who answered my text: (You're trash) This is how they speak to there customers. They are also selling Savannah cats illegally to NYC residents and charging more than market price. I should have checked Yelp and been made aware of their low rating before doing business with them. I'm surprised by all the negative reviews. My wife and I made an appointment on Saturday to look at long haired cat breeds they had available. We arrived and were greeted warmly by staff. We were shown a couple of Persians as well as Himalayan's they had available. The store and cages all appeared clean and tidy. The store is on the smaller end. It is very difficult to find pet shops that have pure bred cats. We looked in Long Island and we stopped in this shop. We decided on our new Persian kitten, Ginger. My wife loved her and she's apart of the family. I would say the one con is that the prices are steep. Expect to pay anywhere from $2500-$3000 for a kitten. I will update if there are any changes. But at this time ginger appears healthy and happy. read more

I'm so torn from buying a new pet from here. Many of the reviews on here and on Google are awful. It's very upsetting. Some have written how sick their pets are when they come home and can't be returned and the screen shots texts people post about the way this owner/manager corresponds is awful. I've never seen anything like this. Although I had purchased a puppy from them years ago but I believe it was different owner then. My dog is healthy except at the first vet check up he claimed it wasn't the pure breed although it stated in the paperwork. That was the only issue I had. At that point there was no way I would have returned an animal which I had already grown to love. I did let them know and they said I could exchange it but how could I? In any case I have come back to the store over the last year taking my time to choose a new pet. The prices have inflated significantly since then so it's a very big decision. Some breeders would charge a fraction of the price and would also come from a home where you can meet the owner and even the parents of the animal. At a breeders home they aren't locked in cages. The owner manager can be very intense and pushy. I understand the need to make a sale but adding a pet to the home is a big decision and the everyone needs to make sure it is the right fit for them. This happens in some business's but shouldn't in this industry. Spending $1500-$3000 which does not including all the vet visits for the future is significant. I just read that the puppies, kittens and rabbits as of Dec 2025 will no longer be allowed to be sold in stores. (The helpers/assistant workers are extremely nice and kind) read more

But we had to to the puppy for emergency care. She had phneumonia. Severely dehydrated. Touch and go. Owner of this store will not speak by phone. Only text messages. Promised to re emburse for nedical bills. I have emailed but not 1 word back via email Text or mail. Beware. My vet office informed me the exact situation occured 3 weeks earlier. I had a great experience with westchester puppies and kittens, Macy and Megan were very nice and informative on the type of puppy I selected ( shih tzu) by the way... there was no pressure to buy when you walk in , you were able to spend time with the dog or the cat... cages were constantly getting cleaned by staff... and I don't think it was for "show". All animals seemed healthy. My only turn off was the the high deposit they ask for if you were interested in a puppy or kitten. But I like the fact you were able to think about the purchase before deciding, I was able to get the house prepared for our new family member I also liked that all shots, neutering and microchipping was done prior to my vet visit Puppy is healthy and happy( just had to get meds for the giardia that he has In his stool. Beware everyone Westchester puppies and kittens in hartsdale needs to be shut down. Despite the fact that they're saying that it passed the code the code for what not for the animals!! I purchased my animal two years ago from Westchester puppies and kittens I paid in total $2,000 for this animal. I received the certificate for the breed of the animal which was not the animal that I had bought it was a totally different animal on the certificate. I took her to the vets to have her examined physical within the 14-day frame that they gave me on the contract when I purchased the puppy. I had no idea that this poor puppy was extremely ill. She had giardia upper respiratory infection ear mites patella laceration no kneecaps etc... The puppy was not in any condition to be sold, however my Maltese had passed away on Christmas Eve. I was heartbroken my words cannot express how I felt the pain in my heart was unexplainable. I remember my vet when my dog passed away he kneeled down on one leg as I was sitting in the chair crying my eyes out uncontrollably his words to me were you're a good pet mom you are good with Bowe you saved his life many times so remember what you did for him but now is his time to rest. I couldn't wait for the holiday to be over so I can go look for my next baby dog. I have such love for animals because they have no voice and we as humans have to be their voice and stand up for them and protect them not hurt them the way that Westchester puppies and kittens the owner does. I had to get her a syringe to give her water because she wasn't drinking from a bowl either slowly but surely she started drinking from a bowl I got her and from my water bottle believe it or not because when I drink water she wants some of mine. I met the owner because I sued her in court for all the cost that I endured with that bills and I m proud to say I won the case and it went to trial and she never showed up.shes a very cocky and disrespectful person . Why provide a phone number & text message services, if you're not going to respond. I came from Manhattan to Westchester in search for a 6-8 week kitten. The minute you walk in the shop there's this funk in the air, not like a regular pet shop more like of a dead animal scent. They have a good amount of kittens & puppies and their ages were close. But we were concerned about their health, one of the kittens that we fell in love with looked sick. When we asked about her age, she was 6 weeks and when we asked about her health, we were told that we can pay for her now & she'll stay for another month to get more treatment. That didn't answer the question at all but they were ready take my money. One of the staff members was really rude, which was the one in charge of the front area. Once I brought it to her attention that her attitude needs to be fixed before I fix it for her, she was uplifted. They are way over priced and I don't see this shop lasting any longer. read more

Horrible! i brought home such a beautiful kitten. so sweet, but within 24 hours she stopped playing and just slept. she didn't want to eat, I was hand feeding her. By the second night she was so very sick. I stayed up with her that night trying to nurse her to health/ended up taking her to the emergency vet the following day/ I wanted to take her in nyc but was told I had to go an hour away to their vet for it to be paid for. My new beautiful kitten had parvo. I had to relinquish ownership because she would need to be quarantined for 6 weeks - and my resident cat would be at high risk. I feel so guilty and I don't know if the kitten ever made it- there was a 50-50 chance. This literally stopped by life for a week/ cost me acouple thousands in booster shots for my cat and multiple parvo checks - having to get rid of all cat stuff and buy new - parvo is highly contagious virus. i missed work for an entire week. i spent two days scrubbing my apt to rid it of the parvo virus- washing everything that could b be. The worst part was I was so heartbroken over this kitten whom I had already started to love - the pet shop owner - the person I was txting with (I begged them to call me but nope) was so mean nasty and cold hearted. i was told I couldn't afford this kitten clearly because I demanded my money back right away. not even. an ounce of sympathy for me of the kitten or the situation their lack of care created in my life. It was clear this person did not care about the kitten nor the emotional heartache I was going through. I've never experienced such a cold person before -- i am now on a wait list for ragdoll kitten from a private breeder-- I so pray that the kitten I had recovers fully and will find a new home - though I highly doubt they will tell the new buyer that this kitten will be shedding the highly contagious deadly parvo virus for up to 6 weeks and that they have to disinfect anything the kitten touches. but this kitten was so sweet I hope she finds the loving home she deserves/ hopefully one that does not have another cat that can catch this virus even if vaccinated, read more

Please DO NOT BUY A KITTEN FROM THIS PLACE Your cat WILL DIE as a kitten - they will never be healthy nor have a full life because this place allows for FIP and diseases to run rampant ! You think you're getting a beautiful pure bread cat but your getting a very diseased lil struggling baby I bought the most beautiful Scottish fold for over 1300$ and was happy to do It! Nothing could stop me except a creepy feeling in my gut about how overcrowded this place was and how it smelled and how the babies all looked just slightly off. I went into a private-ish room to play with 2 Kittens (it was a weird unkempt dank room with litter and claw marks etc) I felt funny. He had problems right from the very night i got him home diarrhea for 6 months as a baby no matter what i did his butt would bleed and i would cry and keep taking him to the vet- i contacted the vet so frequently they were on speed dial A series if stool samples and exams and antibiotics and B-12 shots and recommendations of Metamucil in his food amongst other things Then he got stomatitis which is where every single tooth needs to be extracted because of an immune disease from birth that has your gums attack your Own teeth My boy was in pain And then finally at 4 years old he developed FIP ( a fatal death sentence) which has everything to do with the place i bought him from! THIS PLACE - westchester puppies and kittens and their breeders! Please do not buy from Here!!!!! My sweet baby boy is now In heaven - he died at 4 1/2 yrs old 3 days ago and the disease was horrific - reduced him to An emaciated skeleton with a belly filled with Fluid - he wouldnt eat or Drink. I joined support groups and paid over 5600$ in hopes to make him better - anything to keep my sweet boy alive and thriving But NO! And it all stems back to this cattery and the breeders they accept and the terrible means by which they keep these beautiful baby kittens with shared litter boxes and feces - which is how FIP is contracted. This place needs to be shut down. The workers seem so overworked and angry. They have no patience for the animals whatsoever. When you walk in, all the sweet babies run to the front of the cage to say hello and get the hell out of there!! When the workers approach the cage, they coward away to the corner... they're clearly frightened with all of the trauma they're going through. Today I witnessed a female employee grab a puppy by the neck and rip it out of the cage, just to be dangled and thrown into a room with visitors... not even carefully placed because they're so young and delicate. I've never written a yelp review but I feel like this was necessary. I stopped by here today hoping to find a Samoyed puppy! I saw they had 4 online available. I live about an hour away and due to the current pandemic situation I had all the time in the world to stop by and check it out. I did read the reviews prior to my visit and I was a little nervous, and not gonna lie, not expecting much. I waited in line for about an hour, but thats expected. Its a smaller place with a lot of people looking for dogs right now, and it doesn't take 30 seconds to find a pup and purchase. I wasn't upset about the wait at all! It was reasonable and expected! When I got inside I was told there were no Samoyed puppies :-( the man explained to me that there are a ton of puppies going home everyday and it's pretty hard to keep the website 100% updated, which is understandable. However, they took note on what type of dog I was looking for and what would be the best match for me! They showed me an American Eskimo puppy who was absolutely adorable, but just wasn't the match for me. I then spoke to the one girl who worked there (she was super nice and helpful!) and she brought out a Norwegian Elkhound, which is also a similar breed to which I was looking for and a little bit more in my price range! This was the cutest pup ever but still not my perfect match as he was a BIG puppy and would be a little too big for what I am looking to adopt right now! But I got to play with him for a very long time and get to know his personality! The most playful happy little puppy! Not going to lie, I did fall in love with him and it hurt to leave without him. I hope he finds an amazing and loving home. I asked the girl who helped me when they'd have more Samoyed puppies in and she told me exactly when and what day was the best to come see them if I didn't want to put a $500 hold on them without seeing them, especially because they weren't quite in my price range. I really appreciated the honesty and openness in that, you don't see that with many pet stores. I have honestly no idea why these reviews are so bad. I guess its because people expect to find a $500 purebred puppy right away. That's not how that works. Unless you're looking at specific breeders and waiting a few months for the puppies to be born/ready to go home, these are the places you're gonna find. Easily accessible and they can go home right away. Thats why you're gonna end up paying $2,000+ for a puppy. And honestly this place is a LOT cheaper than most pet stores I've been to. As for cleanliness, it's a puppy store. The puppies will be messy. The floors will be messy. Its gonna smell like 20 puppies peed all over. Why? Because that's what puppies do! I work with dogs for a living and it smells exactly the way most puppy stores/doggy daycares/etc do! And you cant give the puppies a bath every single time they are seen by customers, that's very unhealthy for their fragile puppy skin! They even had a man walking around looking for messes to clean in case a puppy pees on the floor while you're viewing them. I've never seen a puppy store do that, and I appreciated that. And as for the small cages in which the puppies are kept in, I'm sure they're fine. Are they too small? Absolutely. But in the 2 hours I was in the store I saw at least 4 puppies go home. These puppies aren't staying in those cages for long. They're all too cute to stay in the shop long enough to where the size of the cages would become an issue! I'm only giving 4 stars because I did not purchase a puppy today, so I can't say what it would be like as soon as I get home/what their customer service is like outside of the shop. But what I can say is I will definitely be returning once they have Samoyed puppies up for sale in a few weeks if I don't find another pup to adopt before then. Keep doing your thing! You guys are doing great. I hope these negative reviews don't stop people from at least keeping an open mind and going into the store, even if it is just to browse and see for themselves how the store is operated! I really don't know why there are so many bad reviews about this place. My family bought a toy poodle . He's is very obedient and smart. He really is adorable. If you want a dog, I think Westchester Puppies and Kittens is a great place to get one. I don't really know why people say that they have to wait so long to be processed, when my family came in, the staff let us look at all the dogs. The staff was also very nice and told us all about the puppies, including their age, breed, and gender. The only thing about it is that the prices might be a bit too high, although it probably has to do with being right next to Scarsdale, which is the second richest town in America. Update: my puppy is now 11 months old as of yesterday, so I've had her for 8 months. She definitely has some behavior issues and is a reactive dog. However, I don't know if that has anything to do with the store. She is energetic and happy, she loves playing and is healthy. She did have parasites, but that's taken care of and is common. She is fully vaccinated and has not been spayed yet because she did not go into heat. She is true to her breed, atleast it seems that way. I'm content with my purchase and satisfied, although she was definitely overpriced. read more

I purchased a kitten 6 weeks ago and I am still fighting with chronic diarrhea due to cryptosporidium and tritrichomonas. My husband wanted to buy me a Siamese kitten. He did not do due diligence. If he had he would have avoided this place like the plague. Ami was purchased Sunday the 4th and is currently in intensive care 10 days later. She has MANY parasites, including giardia, roundworm, and coccidia. I took her to my vet after three days and she was dewormed (again-supposedly they did so at the store). She is in decline and I took her to an emergency vet last night. She is on IV fluids. She is adorable and friendly and now I'm afraid she may die. My husband paid cash so no refunds expected. We were told our papers will take 120 days to appear. We were not given a breeder number, and the response is to wait until we receive the papers! When i used Google to search them, I found the NY attorney general has an investigation into misleading advertisements, saying the animals are from breeders when they are really from 'mills'. read more

They are selling dogs that should be worth around 2 to 3 thousand in a COVID environment (1 to 2 thousand in non COVID environment) at prices upwards of 5 to 6 thousand. They refuse to negotiate $1 from this outrageous asking price and then suggest you purchase on a payment plan at 22% APY!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry but does the owner think customers are stupid? If anyone chooses to pay 22% interest in a zero rate environment I feel bad for them. My mom purchased a 3 month old kitten here 6 days ago. Our family cat passed a few weeks ago so my mom wanted to surprise us with a kitten. The kitty was so cute, curious, sweet, but docile. Barely meowed, didn't eat as much as he should, and napped on us most of the day. We had him for 6 days and noticed he began to act more lethargic as the days went yesterday morning. The vet is reputable, well-respected in NJ veterinary community (Dr Moldoff @ Meisels Animal hospital) Vet was instantly concerned. After giving the little kitty a checkup, the vet declared him unfit for sale. Pet store med records said he was given too many vaccines a month or 2 earlier than cats should be vaccinated, which likely took a toll on him. The kitten was frail, underweight, very swollen abdomen, bloody stool, lethargic, nasal discharge, sneezing, etc. I practically cried holding the kitten when the vet told us this. We had the option to treat the kitty, but the vet said there was little guarantee of recovery. Broke my heart. We got so attached to the kitten. The pet store tried to refuse to take him back/care for him, but legally had to due to a clause in the purchase contract. Within 14 days, they'll accept returns with a veterinarian's statement deeming the animal unfit for sale. Had we waited longer, it would've taken an emotional/physical toll on us and the poor animal. The girl at the pet store said "what's the problem, he's just tired? It happens to new pets." No. The problem is that the pet store knowingly and willingly sold my mom a sick kitten. Financially, this place is an absolute ripoff. You can get wonderful, healthy, adorable kittens and puppies at animal shelters/rescue organizations for free/cheap. This place has the nerve to charge $1700 (our kitten) to at least $2700 (other animals my mom looked at). That's ridiculous. They told my mom the price after she had already chosen and was cuddling with the kitten. She was vulnerable and willing to pay. Had I come with her to get the kitty, I would've noticed the many red flags. She was shown a beautiful cat, told it was $2700. Asked for less expensive kitty, was shown the one she did get. They were selling the poor thing for $1000 cheaper than normal, and definitely knew that it was sick. That's absurd and very inhumane. We did get a refund, but that's besides the point. This place exploits their animals and the customers who just want a cute new furry friend. Charging exorbitant prices for less-than-healthy animals is fucked up, as I'm pretty sure the animals come from a puppy/kitten mill. My mom wanted a Persian kitten, and they told her this was a Persian shorthair. Paperwork said breed was "exotic", and our vet said they were lying. Posting a pic of the kitty they sold us, so anyone reading this can avoid getting the same poor sick kitten. There are so many better options for getting a new pet. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM AND RIPOFF! The owner sent pictures of dogs that were so-called available and said prices started at $2,800 and up. After a hour drive to their store, we came to learn that most of the dogs were not available and there were no dogs at near the $2,800. It was their way to lure potential customers in. There's also no transparency in pricing as the dogs are caged up and you have to speak with someone to find out how much they're asking for the pet. Their prices were double the amount that you will find somewhere else. Lesson learned and if a pet shop is not displaying prices then there's a reason for it. Recently purchased Tonkinese kitten from this establishment. I was charged $3500. When I researched prices on these kittens the most I should have paid was $1500. Inconsistent. Liars. Dogs aren't from reputable breeders they're from puppy mills. It's a joke at how condescending and rude the owner is and the employees once you catch on to their lies. Take your time to do research if you're looking for a specific breed. AKC is a helpful resource to find a purebred at a decent price $2k and up here the prices are astronomical and a rip off - $4500 for a sick puppy! Mind you she quoted me at $2000 for the male chihuahuas!! The price magically went up at the store - took over an hour and a half while my Mom was waiting for an answer. They sell you sick puppies and claim they're healthy. Place smells horrendous and dogs are not watched for health reasons - causing many health issues. You will never get a call back from the owner - she just sits behind her phone and e-mail but can't pick up the phone when you call (must be her guilty conscience). They had a case against them from the Westchester County clerk that they were claiming to sell healthy purebred dogs and that was deemed a lie (showing they were from some of the WORST puppy mills out there and not in fact all purebred), she then had to pay a civil penalty. I should have done my due diligence and looked at the reviews and googled her beforehand but I did not, so shame on me. One employee we were dealing with when looking at this puppy said he was AKC and had his papers, but when we picked him up (after the deal was done and the dog was bought) another employee said he was ACA I called him out on it and he said it was the "same thing" when it's not it's just another BS scam to show papers that mean nothing. They tell you the day you take the dog home it takes 70-120 days to receive the "breeders" paperwork on the dog, which is another lie because when you deal with someone reputable they give you the papers right there and then. This isn't my first time purchasing a dog. My puppy is 2.7 lbs he was 8 weeks when I brought him home and ALREADY microchipped, which means he was microchipped under the age of 8 weeks which is beyond cruel. My vet also said they lied about deworming him because the dates didn't add up and they said they gave him a distemper shot at too young of an age. However, I fell in love with my chihuahua puppy and got screwed from there when I took him home. He is sick now and it's all from their lack of care. Still waiting for an email response since she takes 3-5 business days to reply. I won't stop until she takes accountability for her actions.
