They had some growing pains when they switched locations but the last few trips have been awesome - I can tell they're getting g their feet back underneath them! My pup absolutely loves this place! The staff is so friendly and so welcoming. Drop off and pick up is such a breeze!! I also love that it doesn't smell like a vet's office or any other place with lots of animals. It's clean and so cute. My pup is exhausted after spending a day here! I bring her to Edmond with me while I work and as soon as she gets in the car to go home she sleeps the entire way there which is over an hour drive then is still tired once we get home. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Called me and told me they had availability on Memorial weekend to call them to set up. I had explained I was coming from out of town, in an email prior to their call. When I called they told me they were't doing daycare that weekend. When I read her the voicemail she changed to ok well we need a temperament test and we can only do it Monday-Wednesday since it's a holiday. Even though she knew I would not arrive till the Friday. She said and I quote "well then we can't help you." I asked why they called and told me they could. She said maybe she didn't understand what you wanted. The voice mail clearly states temperament test on Friday daycare on Saturday. So I would not trust them with my pet now if they can't get a reservation right and treat me like this. Please note I had daycare set up with another facility since January and they called me late last night to say they didn't realize it was Memorial weekend so they wouldn't be doing daycare. I have had my yorkie boarded with this group in the past, back when they were off of 2nd street, and never had an issue. However, each time I have boarded her at the new location off of Covell both she and her bedding were soaked with other dog urine. I wouldn't recommend this location for small dogs. read more

I was very skeptical to send our Maltese, Molly, to board at Puppy Paws. Being that she was treated like a person normally, I wasn't sure she would fare well. She was so tiny (a whopping 6 lbs). Boy was I surprised. During play time, she was held as much as she needed/wanted. Her needs were very well taken care of. She was happy and healthy when I picked her up. I then trusted them with grooming, being that they are located close to where I live. That went very well as well! This past Friday, there was a very unfortunate situation. We had traffic diverted to our road due to an accident. The cars were speeding by. Molly, at last minute, bolted across road. She was hit and killed. When I cancelled her next grooming appt, Puppy Paws was so kind! They reached out so warm and loving. I can't express how that played a part in me being comforted. I highly recommend Puppy Paws for boarding, for grooming, and for extended family. Don't be scared to send a pampered pet there. read more

People were kind, dogs seemed to enjoy themselves. My small bichon mix got a good grooming, my golden on the other hand has had her coat destroyed. She's lives to swim and has to stop swimming early this year due to the damage done to her coat. I asked for them to clean her up like a regular golden, they said there's no such thing as a golden hair cut. I've lived in two other towns were my dogs were groomed and no one has ever told me there isn't a "golden cut". I didn't ask for a golden hair cut I just simply asked to just clean her up, cut a wide potty path, don't touch her tail. I received a dog that looked like a teddy bear (she also was not given an extra wide potty path like I had asked for more than once) and noticed quickly she no longer dried after she swam, it would be several hours and she would still be wet. She used to be the fastest one dry out of all our families goldens and she was everyone's favorite to cuddle and love on because of her soft coat. After consulting other groomers on the state of my dogs coat after her grooming, and the problem with her not drying, they all said the same opinion, she had been cut too short and, she may have even been clipped, but was for sure at least scissored down far to short. Either way her coat is gone and may or may not grow back in the same condition it was before. This is my worst nightmare and the thing I have tried so hard to avoid ever happening to my double coated dog. She had the softest coat of any dog, and it's gone. I don't want to take swimming away from her due to something that's not her fault so we now spend a minimum of an hour to two hours brushing and drying her after she swims. After that she is still wet and her coat looks awful. I messaged them about this and they stated they had no idea what would cause her coat not to dry and that they just trimmed her wispies away and they stated they did not touch her coat, I'm sorry but it's more than obvious her coat was touched. Denying anything to do with the condition of her coat and wishing me the best. Below are pictures of her before and after her cut. I would like my money back for the damage they did, but they seem to just play dumb. I have posted pictures of her before her groom, after her "groom", and several hours after her swimming and me trying to dry her. If you care about your double coated dog please do not make the mistake I had to learn the hard way and stay far away from this place. read more

Wonderful The only place I will board my dogs! We have been with them for over 10 years!

We went to the open house and were hopeful this place would work out. I took our puppy to an evaluation this morning. The young woman at the front was incredibly rude and curt and did not seem to care. I asked her to confirm the price and she couldn't give me the correct information. I told her to look it up. When they came to get my dog to take him back, I was asking a few questions and trying to give them info about my dog. I wanted them to pet him before they scooped him from my arms so that he wouldn't be scared. They ignored me and quickly took him out of the room. I sat in my car for a bit because I was hesitant to leave him there. I went back in and told them that this wasn't going to work out and to bring me my dog. No apology. This is the most unprofessional boarding place I've ever been to. I felt extremely uncomfortable leaving my baby there. I should have taken him to the wonderful boarder where we took our previous dog even though it's farther from our house. I just called them--they are so nice. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PUPPY PAWS. read more

It's gradually gone downhill since we started bringing our pup around 2015. It was so good in the beginning. It's a matter of hiring the right staff. That's the most difficult in any company that deals with people and customer service. Phone used to be answered within the first or second ring. Now it is seldom answered. Leave multiple messages and sometimes we get a call back and sometimes not. We have to call back. We try reaching through messenger and their excuse is that it has glitches and they don't always get the messages in a timely fashion. If this keeps happening it'll be 2 stars until we just find another place for daycare and boarding. (Sad, because we used to absolutely love PPs and we recommended it highly but now they don't exude confidence). read more

Although the staff is very nice and professional, there are charges for extra helpers and de-matting. Despite this I still brought my dogs- but no more after today. They called to say that the price that I had originally had always been wrong for my 80 pound Labradoodle, and they were increasing the price from $80 dollars to $105, surprising! But then they added that they were also increasing the price of my 45 pound labradoodle from $80 to 105$. 105 dollars for a 45 pound dog?? This will be our last visit! read more

We have used Puppy Paws for over a year and never will again. Today we dropped off our 2.5 pound Yorkie for a grooming and they shaved her coat off. She goes once a month to have her long blue/black hair trimmed and for some unknown reason her whole body was cut to 1/4 inch. Who in their wright mind does that to a long haired Yorkie? If you ever use these people you deserve what you get. read more

My new favorite dog groomer! Took my pug to be groomed and they did a great job. I loved the inside and the cameras in the lobby to see them playing together. I felt she was well cared for in my absence and I appreciate the text to let me know when she was done, that she would be in the lounge waiting for me. This place is the best! All the employees care so much for the pups and do everything they can to make sure your dog is safe and having fun. My dogs always love Daycare and come home so tired, they've met so many puppy friends here. The facilities are always and well maintained. The groomers are so wonderful, they do a great job and always make the dog feel as comfortable as possible. Grooming can be pricey, but you pay for what you get, and you're paying for the best possible service. Cannot give this place enough praise. read more

I wish things had gone better bc I believe these are kind people who sincerely love dogs, which is so important, & this facility is an impressive fun concept. On a professional & financial level, this is an expensive place, we were charged for services we didn't know we were going to be charged for, our dogs were cut & shaved on the face, & tails were significantly cut without our awareness. ( we went in for baths only no grooming) Upon expressing dissatisfaction with this outcome and the pricey bill, my feelings & viewpoints felt a bit undermined with comments like "money isn't everything" & " we don't worry about a few hairs. " Regarding hidden charges, it was implied we should have read the brochure and website (as opposed to them just clearly communicating upfront). I have never had to do that in all my experience with dog groomers, but I should have done my homework. Bottom line, although I believe these are good hearted people that truly adore animals, we were not aware nor ok with the added fees & extra cuts & shaves that came upon pick up . She apologized for our bad experience, but only offered financial restitution for the hidden charge of a temperament test of $12.00 per dog. She was not interested in offering second chances to get our business back & seemed offended that I would pose such questions. To be very fair and honest, they do a nice job with baths & brushing, just be sure and read up on fine print regarding package details & charges. read more

Good customer service in the beginning and I loved seeing my puppy playing on FB but I was really disappointed when I picked her up and her bedding in her crate was soiled. They obviously didn't clean it like they said they would. The last potty break they get is 5:30pm and then don't go out again until almost 8:00am when they open. 14 hrs is too long! I was also charged for an extra day which they didn't mention when booking. The website says "All hotel rates include all day daycare" so when I dropped my puppy off for 2 nights, I was expecting to pay $80. They charged me $120! The owner said they charge for an extra day of Daycare on the 1st day whether you are there or not. I had dropped her off 15 minutes before closing and was still charged for the full day of daycare regardless. Nothing was said until I picked up and got the bill. The owner said that's what the statement on the website meant and although it's a common mistake, that's her disclaimer. Use them if you desperate but plan for hidden fees and 14 hr nights! read more
