Came to this location because years ago my family brought their children here. Not sure if things…read morechanged or maybe these things weren't apparent to my family. My child was in the infants room. In the infants room it seems like they don't do anything to interact w the children. A few times I came to pick up my son and I saw the teachers on their phone while having the children watch TV. Kids are left in a room to just play w one another. There is no set schedule or activities they do during the day. Thankfully each time that I picked up my son I always made sure to go back to the room to pick him up and not wait for them to bring him to me. Definitely had me on high alarm when they said parents weren't allowed to go back to pick up or drop off. I did make sure that I went back at least to the window of the room. Many times I got accident reports and the very last time I got an accident report they said it was because my son hit another child and they put him in a timeout by locking him up into a high chair. No child should ever be put into a "timeout chair" that locks them in one place. That's torture, my child was just barely 1, I know he didn't understand what was being done to him. Children are teachable not punishable!!! Extremely disappointed I didn't see the signs before. I think I really wanted to like this school because my family had previously gone here. Also I do not like that every time I came to pick up my son or drop him off nobody was in the front. Anybody can just walk in, how scary.

While I am aware that they are not specialized in autism or similar conditions, they have effectively addressed my son's needs and behaviors. He consistently learns new things and brings home numerous projects. The facility is exceptionally clean, and the staff is exceptionally kind and courteous. I particularly appreciate their structured approach, which is evident despite the fact that it is a daycare facility. I highly value the way they treat the children with immense patience.

She was a very experience preschool teacher - caring, fun, organized, structured, and most importantly, loving. Now my daughter is enrolled in the LAUP program which is housed at La Petite. This is another great program! I am thankful that she can go to before and after care with La Petite. She loves ALL her teachers and is excited to go. My daughter happily goes from one class to another and I love that she has the opportunity to play with kids older and younger than her. The center watches there ratios carefully and always makes sure that there is an appropriate teacher to child ratio. Teachers work well with each other and you can tell that they are happy to come to work every day. The director is friendly and easy to talk with. She is very organized and runs a structured center. As it is a busy center and I am busy at work, I have found that email is a great way for me to communicate with Jeanna, but she is also ready to talk in person and over the phone. I love the various themes I see the classes working on: the human body, planets, plants, etc. The playground is fun and safe. There are areas in the shade, space for the kids to run, grassy areas, and a large play structure. The garden is also fantastic! It is fun to see kids of all ages looking at the flowers and excitedly showing each other the vegetables that grow.

WARNING to Parents: Toddler Left Naked for 45+ Minutes Over Potty Training Policy…read more I'm posting this to inform other parents about what happened to my 2-year-old daughter while she was enrolled here. She is not fully potty trained by their standards. One day, she had an accident, and the staff left her completely undressed in the bathroom for 45+ minutes. They told me they would not help her get dressed unless I either came in person to do it myself or paid additional money. When I arrived, she was still unclothed. There was no medical or disciplinary reason -- just a policy they enforced tied to toileting status and payment. Refusing to assist a toddler with basic care needs, especially hygiene and clothing, is unacceptable. At this age, children rely entirely on adults to meet their needs, and any facility working with toddlers should be equipped to handle toileting accidents in a safe and respectful way. If you're considering this school, I strongly recommend asking specific questions about how they handle toileting, accidents, and what support they actually provide when a child needs help. This experience was extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about their practices.

Ask your children questions and this is where ever you go. Check in with your children and exam them at bath time. Toward the end of their time here my son hated going and would cry to his therapist. At this very same location there is another daycare being place here. If it is from the same own with the same staff, please do not send your children there. My son would cry all day and they would never inform me. My son would come home with bruises on his arms, I would inquire with both my son and the owner/teachers but it was pointless. My son was pretty clumsy so I though maybe fell even with my inquires to my son. My children were not well taken care of here. There was an adult that had inappropriate conduct with my 5 year old son at the time. The teach also secretly whooped my son in the children's classroom restroom, which my 4 year old daughter did not disclose till after I told them they were never going back. I reported it to the state but of course nothing was resolved. Thankfully, my son had a mental health therapist who was able to really speak with my son and notice interactions with the staff and my son. As a parent they did not want us going pass the front lobby.
