It is very beat driven as the instructor is guiding you through your practice. They offer several different classes to fit everyone's needs and experience. I've been an Orangetheory member for years, and visiting different studios usually feels like coming home. I attended this location over Thanksgiving 2025 while visiting family and initially had a great experience. The studio was clean, well-maintained, and the front desk staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience after that visit has been disappointing. I accidentally left behind a single workout glove. What followed was months of trying to get it returned. I reached out multiple times by phone, text, and email. While the front desk staff were always kind and responsive, the studio manager never replied to a single email. To make things as easy as possible, I even provided a prepaid FedEx label and offered to arrange pickup if needed. Staff confirmed that the label was received, yet I still never heard back from the manager. My last email was sent on February 4, 2026, and went unanswered. At this point, it's no longer about the glove. It's about the lack of basic communication and respect. A simple response would have gone a long way. As a long-time member, that level of disregard is disappointing.

This is a dance party- where I get to have fun at the same time as working out! All of the instructors are extremely helpful, knowledgeable- and very relatable! They don't seem to really like their jobs. They just hand you a board and don't say anything during check in. I thought coach Sarah was great! Others agreed and said the same thing. I also enjoyed Sydney's classes. Unfortunately, I thought their lead coach, Vassar, was the WORST lead head coach I've seen across the 75-100 studios I've been to so far. He is abrasive, confrontational, and makes awkward attempts to "flirt" with female clients while on a live mic. He confronted me for "rowing too quickly", which was unprofessional and ridiculous. He also went out of his way several times to confront me for using my phone while I was on the stationary bike (which is clearly SUCH a safety hazard, I've fallen off that stationary bike so many times *eye roll*. I never run and use my phone on the treadmill, common sense goes a long way sometimes. Finally, Kelsey, the studio manager, did a poor job handling the situation when I voiced my dissatisfaction with Vassar. This makes sense given how the studio just doesn't have a "happy" vibe. It starts from the top. In contrary the Woodruff Rd location and even Greer locations are GREAT! Both have different managers.

Recently the personal training manager Alex called me to let me know almost all his trainers quit. He told me he would cancel my personal training contract (fine.) I asked if I had any unused sessions that were already paid for; and he replied "You have four but I have no one to train you." So naturally I asked for a refund. He told me he could not provide the prepaid service nor provide a refund! (What kind of business is this?) I then asked him to have Trevor the regional manager call me. He never did. So now I've had to file a complaint with the franchisor. Unbelievable behavior!
