Another great year with this studio! There is always a competition or something fun going on to keep you motivated. They have the best team to keep you pushing to be your best self. Back in summer 2021 I was a member at Pure Barre in Greensboro and have been eager to try it out again since moving to Charlotte. This Pure Barre location at Birkdale Village was unlike any I'd ever seen! It had a huge lobby with lots of barre and floor space in the studio. The instructors I've experienced have been super helpful in demonstrating and assisting with the exercises, as well as are responsive over text to see how you're feeling about the workout! There is lots of parking around the studio at the Birkdale shopping center, so even after your workout you can grab a bite to eat or getting some shopping done! I had a great experience at this Pure Barre location and hope to be back soon! read more

I've taken 4 classes so far, one empower and 3 regular Barre. From the moment I stepped in I felt welcome. Everyone helps & answers my questions. I still have a lot to learn, but it's a blast & a killer core/total body workout. I stepped out of my comfort zone & tried something I've been wanting to try for a long time. Classes are organized, Staff is knowledge and very helpful! Always clean! Close location & always parking options in Birkdale. Its a great workout and very uplifting environment. The teachers are very attentive and seem kind. Unfortunately, for being a women-owned business there is zero grace for being even 5 minutes late for a class. Thats a tremendous stressor for young moms with careers and lots to juggle. Im not going to know 4 hours prior to the class if there is going to be a trash truck in front of me or multiple road closed for construction. For the money they charge, there should be at least a 10 minute grace period for late arrival. Your paying your own membership and exercising at your own risk, including the use of equipment. Im very disappointed by the lack of flexibility. read more

This is the best workout! I think this is a good workout for ANYONE at ANY level. The movements of the traditional Pure Barre class are slow and small so you can work at a very high level and push yourself or you can modify to work at your own level until you build up your strength. This workout has changed by body- I have never felt so tight and fit! There are so many other things I love about PB Lake Norman: the knowledgeable instructors, the friendly clients, the uplifting music, and the all-around energetic atmosphere! Update: I've been going to this studio for 2 1/2 years now and still have nothing but amazing things to say about it. The addition of the Empower class puts Pure Barre over the top, for sure! It's such a killer workout and they now allow you to do a classic class and an Empower in the same day, which really turns your workout up a notch!
