I love the workout...even though I'm not in the best of shape now, I want to be... as someone who had back surgery a few years ago I'm very limited in some of the exercises that I can do. My doctor recommended Pure Barre. I'm so glad that he did. I went for a while a couple of years ago and then I stopped. I'm not exactly sure why but I started back and I'm happy about it. I want to keep going... The instructors are personable and kind to instruct... the music is great and the vibe is just perfect. I'm looking forward to getting stronger as the days go by! read more

Engaging, personally enriching, the educator really encourages each regardless of the skill level. The studio is bright, clean, open and allows for personal space. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Facility - clean, spacious, welcoming, fun, and every piece of clothing or accessory for sale is quality and silently makes a great case for why it belongs in your wardrobe rotation (says the girl wearing the most amazingly soft and comfortable purple and black yoga pants on the planet, purchase at this location). For such a "trendy" workout, it was very unpretentious. Many very seasoned barre-goers, but you never feel looked down on if you're not nailing every move like a pro. Workout - incredible. I left my first class on Easter of 2015 with a group of my closest girlfriends. It was all of our first class. I felt sore (the best kind of sore) in muscles i had never felt before. This workout is tailored to women's problem areas - arms, thighs, butts and stomachs. Best part? You don't break much of a sweat, so you don't leave drenched. (Code for, you're not the worst if you head straight to work after a class, no shower. In fact, I used to shower before class, go to class, and then go to work. Every day) no showers on site, but a bathroom is available if you need to spruce up or change quick. There has been no other workout that has transformed my body visibly the way pure barre did. My friends complimented me constantly on my "seat" (aka butt). I had formally been known as the friend with no actual butt. Friends actually tagged me in pictures of that "as seen on tv" booty pop thing that was like spanx but had lumps where your butt cheeks belonged. I never caved and bought it, but after pure barre, I didn't need it anymore. Seriously. Also, inches off of every one of the aforementioned areas that pure barre targets. Results are real and classes are fun and addicting. They push your muscles to exhaustion with small, controlled movements. The music is fun, loud, and helps you lose yourself in the moment of each movement. Best part: the staff... The staff: I've been to many pure barres (when I travel, I try and incorporate a great workout if possible). They're all awesome. Huntington and Woodbury pure barre are a step (or 7) above the rest. All of the instructors are challenging and awesome in different ways. They are engaging and fun and make efforts to learn your name and give you props for working hard all class. They help you keep proper alignment, and they know exactly what they're doing. You'll often see instructors taking classes lead by other instructors, keeping their barre games as on point as possible. And management actually cares and shows the love to those who love and spend time at PB. A few of my friends who have gotten married over the past two years have spent the mornings before their bachelorette weekend and the mornings of their wedding Pure Barre-ing with their bridal parties. Allyson decorated a sign for my friend Masha's wedding the day she knew we were all coming in to take a class before getting ready for her wedding. We had a champagne toast and Allyson posted our group photo on the PB instagram. It was such a great start to one of the greatest days of all time. I could really go on and on. But do yourself a favor. If you're looking for a serious seat-kicking workout that will leave you all the right kinds of sore, feelings accomplished and like you did something to change your body, give it a try. My friend and I signed up online for a barre class, which didn't have a level description, I have taken barre before but she hasn't. We arrived a minute after the class had started because of traffic and the woman at the desk was extremely rude, she refused to let us in and asked if anyone had called us the day before which they Didn't. She also let us know that this was an advanced class not beginner, which it didn't say when we booked. Instead of suggesting to reschedule us, she was just completely nasty and told us to leave. read more

I tried Pure Barre Huntington looking for a different way to workout. I did some research and with a history in dance, I thought it would be a wonderful way to get back in shape. I am sad to write the history in dance did not help me... :-( the workouts kicked my seat in a good way (lol) !!!! It was an amazing experience. After 10 sessions, I noticed a change in my body, flexibility and outlook on fitness. I felt the burn and really enjoyed my classes. Jennifer, Kristin, Adrianne were all amazing instructors but my favorite was Kerrie because she's nice to look at and so sweet ;-). I highly recommend this workout for a full body transformation.... With everything in life, don't give up because you will see the results !!! read more

I absolutely love Pure Barre Huntington (and Pure Barre Woodbury). The variety that each class gives you really makes it impossible to ever be bored during your workout. Every class I take, I always feel stronger and can workout harder and longer than the previous workout. I mean, I actually started to see results just after the first few classes. Pure Barre also truly gave me a bump in my self-confidence and helped me become much more aware of my body and the connection that it has with my mind. The instructors and classes are great here! One of the best workouts! It's all about lifting, toning, and burning as prt of a supportive community of people. You're always welcomed as you enter and by other classmates., whether you know them or not. Class is intense- the 90 second plank is tough!- but you are propelled in by those around you. If you are not positioned properly, the instructors help with corrections to get the most out of it. Classes are addictive! And rests are visible in a month. Do it!!! read more

I just moved to the area from the city where I would regularly take Core Fusion and Physique57. I was running a little late. The girl at the counter was not going to let me enter the class (I told her I've taken Bar classes before- she was still unwilling to let me in the class) An actual instructor overheard what was happening and gave me the run down on their method (same as every other class) and walked me in. I just couldn't believe how rude the counter girl was. Ummm- this is a very small town and WOM is everything. If it were my business she'd be out the door. Overall the class was good- but I was just very turned off by the first impression. If you're going to offer promotions to get ppl in the door- treating them poorly is not the way to get paid sign up. The instructor who led me in was very nice. The instructor who led the class was very good. Two thumbs down for the counter person. read more
