I took up the offer of a free introduction class. After class, I liked the vibe, so I joined on a "month to month basis ". I asked the owner Tina her opinion if I could even do the classic class, keep in mind I just started working out, literally this class is for advanced students, the moves are not for amateurs, her reply was sure I believe you'll be fine! Well I wasn't I threw my back out, reached out To pure Barre let them know so I assumed they canceled my "month to month" NO, I woke up on a Saturday with $139 paid,called no refund, never used the class and paid 2 months of classes...so 8 had to put in a cancelation 30 days ahead to my month to month contract! That's not month to month, it's I'll rip you off until you put in a 30 days cancelation...Tina & Co please explain this to your members ahead of time it would be truly helpful... read more

I wondered if I would be able to do the class. I'm a lifelong exerciser until 5 years ago(life got in the way). I do walk 2-3 miles 5-6x a week. BUT, I was definitely nervous! This class was a very difficult class but the instructor gave great, explicit body positioning instructions to protect from self injury. I'm shaking like a leaf when I left! I LOVED IT! This is one of my favorite places in Midland!! I absolutely love working out here. They aren't a gym, they are like CHEERS! Everyone knows your name, everyone helps each other out, you become friends with everyone, and best of all you get the best workout you've ever had. No matter the day, how long you've gone, it's always a challenge, and the only thing that gets easier is you meeting people. I just got out of my first class here & can honestly say this place is a gem. The style of exercise is super different than anything I've ever done so I was pretty apprehensive and nervous coming in - just wanted to try something new & I am super glad that I did. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful and friendly. It's hard to find a boutique-fitness-studio type of place that isn't the slightest bit uppity, but it was easy to see that this place encourages and fosters genuine community. Absolutely loved it!!
