My daughter and I joined Pure Barre South Elgin a year ago this month. We are obsessed!! We love PBSE for its safe, welcoming, and fun atmosphere. We appreciate the different classes, formats and class times that PBSE has to offer. There is something for everyone! Each class is challenging, effective, and so rewarding. Every time we walk into the doors we are greeted by such caring and helpful staff, welcoming and motivating members and the incredibly fun, energetic and knowledgeable instructors. I signed up to take a free class with my friend and Dawn called me right away to make sure I was right for the class and that I had all the info I needed. I really appreciated her telling me about the socks instead of me having to buy them at the studio. She was very helpful. The instructor Taylor L did a great job and asked me about my injuries prior to class. She had excellent accommodations and remember what I told her prior to class. As a former fitness instructor(and someone who used to hire them) she is an excellent instructor. Her explanations were clear, the class flowed well, and she provided multiple options. I also liked the number of participants in the class. Sometimes it feels so crowded but I feel this studio has the right number of participants. If I lived closer I would buy a membership here. I would 100% pay for another class if I'm in town read more

I was never a group fitness person, but took a chance on a free intro class. I am so glad I did! The instructors & front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. I attribute this to the owner, Molly. She has created a loving atmosphere that attracts the like. There are several types of classes to choose from. The instructors make sure you are in the correct position and using a mind/body connection. I have gained an amazing amount of strength & flexibility. If you are intimidated, don't be. There are women in there 20's all the way to 70's. The clients encourage one another and create friendships. The instructors encourage modifications when necessary and show you what to do to modify. There are celebrations for milestones. There are challenges you can join, it's never boring at Pure Barre!! Seriously, take a chance like I did. You won't be sorry read more

My daughter-in-law and I took the free class with the owner, Molly, one week ago to try it out. We both loved the class . We've already been to 4 classes in the last seven days. I like how there are different packages and so many time slots to fit your busy lifestyle. The app is very helpful. Everyone working there has been very nice and helpful. The instructors like Molly, Brittany and Abby B are absolutely amazing. We are looking forward to meeting more of the instructors as our journey continues . They are very encouraging and help us to correct our form or modify if we can't perform a particular exercise. We are thrilled we found this place. I've done it all... globogyms garage gyms yoga pilates aerobics boot camps etc... Pure Barre is by far the most enjoyable comprehensive workout I've ever done! The move to music muscle targeting/stretching workout goes by fast with lasting results. There are so many formats and class times to choose from. The sense of an inclusive community starts with Molly the studio owner and filters thru the teachers front end staff and members. The welcoming atmosphere and professional instruction make for a perfect uplifting combo. I feel more mentally and physically fit than ever! Thank you Pure Barre S. I am addicted to Pure Barre South Elgin! This unique workout studio provides a mix of core conditioning, stretching, and ballet bar work. Sometimes the movements are so small that I wonder how they could be effective... Then my quivering muscles remind me! At the end of the hour I feel rewarded and stronger. This is the best exercise program I've ever experienced, and I truly look forward to going each day. The instructors are highly trained and motivating as they explain in detail each and every move you make all while they play great music which makes the workout so much fun! With every class they encourage you to do your best and give it your all. They will discreetly come to you during an exercise to help you correct your position. They will assist in modifications if you find a particular exercise challenging or if you have an injury. Every instructor and every class is different. It is never boring and no two classes are alike. Every time I leave class I feel energized and stronger. My posture has improved and I am seeing definition in my arms, legs and stomach. I highly recommend Pure Barre South Elgin and give it five stars!!!! read more

Pure Barre is hands down the best workout for me challenging but rewarding and it gives you the core strength to avoid lower back pain. Molly, the owner, is a good listener and makes things done to make this new place feel like home. Becky, the lead teacher gives you strength defying classes that makes you feel yes!
