I love refrigerator magnets! Every trip I take you'll find me in gift shops searching for that unique magnet to add to my collection on my fridge from a trip. I recently discovered Pure Buttons online. Along with making buttons they can take your photos and make them into refrigerator magnets! Did I say I love refrigerator magnets? It's a great service and the quality is as good or better than magnets in gift shops and they're your photos and memories. I've used them several times now for like a pic of my Rose Bowl ticket is now a magnet, a great shot in Key West at sunset, pics at the Grand Canyon, pics of my dog, etc. They make great gifts for your friends and family and they're very inexpensive. Customer service is excellent as they want you to have a great product (thanks Debbie). The website takes some practice to figure out and get good at making the best product but once you get it down, you'll get on a roll. Shipping is super fast and I use regular mail. New magnets arrive in about 3 days after an order. They have a lot of other services but of course I'm focused on the refrigerator magnets. Great company! read more

I used Pure Buttons to create custom promotional buttons for my books and my group author blog. It was my first experience designing and ordering buttons, and Pure Buttons was responsive and helpful at every stage. The live chat was especially helpful, answering my questions about file formats in a matter of minutes. I ended up having to rush my order after I'd placed it, and they accommodated that request easily. The buttons themselves are of great quality. We plan to use the buttons as promotional items at a national conference, so it was important that they look professional. The graphics are consistent and the construction is solid. The price is also excellent--the cheapest we've found. In addition, if you're new to graphics design (like me), their FAQ section has great tips on how to create rich black color and how to put in rim text. I've ordered from purebuttons twice and both times they've done a great job. The buttons come out looking just as I wanted, are delivered safely and in a timely manner, and the staff are very up-to-speed and willing to communicate. The first time around I submitted buttons with my contact info accidentally in the crop-off section. Someone from purebuttons actually sent me an email informing me of this fact and allowed me to resubmit my buttons (I didn't sign up for their digital proofing service, just to be clear). This saved me a potential $100 on reprinting if I, unaware, had opened a package three weeks later with 300 defective buttons. My only gripe is the 50 button minimum requirement, as I am a small artist selling small amounts of buttons at cons (and thus having 50 of each design seems a bit excessive). However, compared to other sites I have found, their buttons are relatively cheap and I have heard good enough things about them from other artists to find them reliable. read more

The quickest and easiest way for me to sum up my experiences with Pure Buttons would be to make two statements: 1) I have been offered buttons at a lower price but decline because the quality, turn-around, and (most importantly) the customer service is unrivaled. I decided to make a small batch of 1in x 1in buttons for my student graduate portfolio show. I didn't use a template or proof, wanting to avoid any extra expenses since I had to rush my order (due to being a procrastinator and being very close to my portfolio show). I instead made a 1in x 1in square in Illustrator then used the elliptical tool to create a 1in x 1in button template for myself. Easy enough. The order came quickly as I anticipated it would and the buttons were perfect. The color was spot on to what I imagined it to be- you have to anticipate that color on the screen will translate slightly different in print. Anyway everybody loved them at the portfolio show, so I consider them a huge success and I will definitely be recommending purebuttons' services to my companions and certainly use their services for future endeavors. I found purebuttons.com through a google search when I was needing a company to go ahead a produce a large quantity of buttons for a convention I was attending. I loved the look of the site and decided it was worth a shot to place my order with them. I was quoted a time of about 7 days for production, plus shipping but I ended up receiving my order quicker than anticipated. I look forward to placing another order soon with purebuttons.com since I was very happy with how my first batch of buttons turned out. My only gripe with the site is the $10 dollar art proof fee they charge, but that seems to be an industry standard. Now that I'm familiar with their provided templates, I'm hoping to avoid the optional proof fee. First time ordering buttons, so I was a little hesitant about what site to choose, but this one seemed like a good deal, and their website was very professional looking. I had some trouble uploading my designs(I had about ten different ones), which was probably something to do with my computer and not their website. It was no problem though, because after a quick note to customer service, I was helped out very quickly by a customer service rep named Josh. Very helpful, and everything went smoothly from there. I told him that he needed to make sure there was no disconnect between the people that answer the phones and the service they promised. Pure Buttons is the best. Buttons were beautiful, inexpensive, and staff and designers are willing to work with you to get what you want. I had a lot of different buttons made for a promo for our gallery and they were great...everyone wanted them. NOTE: I had a large order of buttons with a design that had to be perfectly centered in the circle. Mass producing so many buttons you are bound to get a handful that are slightly off. I have been using Pure Buttons for about 4 years now and have been incredibly pleased. I had one order that was missing a layer when printed, they were friendly and fast to respond.
