A most outstanding selection of gorgeous flowers. And outstanding service. I'm going to the opera tonight to see CARMEN and my voice teacher is playing one of the parts. I was looking for a bouquet that would look good on stage. The owner herself, whose name is Lyuba, put it together for me and created what she called a "flat bouquet" that can be easily cradled in someone's arms while on stage, kind of how they do it at Miss America. I called and spoke to the owner, Luba, who invited me down. No one else was even open. She recommended, created and directed me for a superb surprise. Ordered flowers remotely for my sisters birthday (I live in California she was in Miami) so I had to trust these folks were going to deliver beautiful arrangement of flowers. Customer service from the beginning when I called them on the phone was not very nice, the women ridicule me for asking if she could take pictures of the ballon style (I mean it's normal to want to SEE what kind they have) the women was laughing condescending saying to someone else "can you believe she wants me to take pictures of all the balloons we have" I was like okay you don't have to be rude about it! If you have a lot it would be in your business BEST interest to have some kind of online system to show the most popular or the one you have in high stock displayed on your website. Any who she seemed to tender up a bit and was helpful in texting me the types of flowers they had in wear house . After she send me picture of what my $230 dollars paid for I was shocked! The flower looked a bit beat up (not the nice crisp fresh ones) and the arrangement just looked bland! Even grocery stores have better arrangement than that! But you'll be the judge! Ordered over phone at 1pm. Delivered at 3p to wrong address. Owner claims i gave wrong address? Owner not native English speaker so had to correct spelling and address multiple times on phone but they still got it wrong. Should have asked them to text me info to review but I didn't. Flowers are still MIA. $200 of tropicals look like about $100 from pics they sent. $250 with card and delivery? Not a great arrangement or attention to detail. GF is still searching for delivery. This place is laughable. As a dude, I didn't know anything about flowers. I went in asking for 100 dollar bouquet. At the checkout they told me it was 185 plus tax. I paid it, not knowing anything about flowers. I was ironically running errands with my mother in law at the time who saw my receipt out of dumb luck on our way home. She lost her mind hahaha. We turned around and she demanded to understand their pricing system. When she entered the store and started asking questions she was met with EXTREME hostility by the owners who claimed she must charge 15 dollars A FLOWER to pay her rent. Bottom line. The place is wildly expensive, the employees are wildly rude, and they are clearly content taking advantage of customers. It takes a lot for me to write a Yelp review, in fact the only ones I've ever placed have been ones where I'm friends with the owner. I'd like to think I have better things to do with my time. Rude! Came in to get a beautiful original arrangement for a loved one. I showed the florist a picture I wanted recreated. She kept asking me to pick everything out. If I was able to do that, I would've purchased flowers and made a bouquet myself. I kindly reminded her I could've gone to a local grocery store and purchase a cookie cutter bouquet but I wanted something special so I came to a florist. If I could rate this as zero stars, I would! The Eastern European lady is the rudest person I've encountered. Unhelpful and serious lack of knowledge when it comes to flowers. She thinks plastic sticks, which are used for support, are dead orchid stems and tried to charge me more for replacing them!! I went in for a cleanup on the orchids a friend gifted me (which at the time of purchasing she was told cleanups are free and I could bring back the plant anytime) - and this woman did not understand I just wanted to remove all the dead items. She just wanted to charge me more and rip me off. Very difficult to work with, not friendly, not accommodating, and a horror to even speak to. DO NOT GO HERE!! You're better off going to Pistils and Petals or Flower Bazaar. read more

Someone from task force should come over there and teach her customer service. I told her to relax I'm looking around and she basically told me to get out if I didn't have any plans on buying anything. I ordered flowers from here for the second time because my mother had been in the hospital for months and was just transferred to a nursing home the day before Mother's Day. I wanted her to have a nice cheerful arrangement of flowers for Mother's Day and to cheer up her room. The arrangement was pretty but extremely small. I paid over $100 including delivery and was very disappointed with what I got for my money. Absolutely no chance I will ever purchase here again. The owner was incredibly rude, short and disrespectful to me. I've lived on Miami Beach and shopped at Epicure for years. When they closed down I continued to shop loyalty at their flower shop in Sunset Harbor. I purchased a plant which subsequently started dropping leaves from the moment I brought it home. I have a green thumb and usually have no problems keeping plants alive. So I decided to return it and speak to the owner about what she was willing to do. (Not expecting a full refund) I explained that I had purchased other plants that did great but something was off about this variety or specific plant she sold. She was so short and couldn't even look me in the eye. Then proceeded to yank my plant and ceramic pot around, nearly breaking it. She yelled at me a practically kicked me out of her store. She never stoped working behind the counter and had her back turned to me the entire time. I never raised my voice at her yet I've never been treated worse by a business owner. Such a shame. There is an older Russian (I think) woman who works here who made the experience so miserable that my boyfriend and I literally just ran out of the store. Based on her attitude all bouquets of flowers should come mandatory with a bar of Xanax. I don't know if she's the owner or an employee but she needs to not be there. read more

Her choice of words were borderline disrespectful, when I told her I could pay with either cash or card depending the total. In concept the shop is great and geographically located in the best location, however the service is impressively poor. I'm not referring to the quality of the work by any means, the products are "ok" not great but would be more acceptable if you had people with a soul helping you. I went there last week and got 3 moss handbag arrangements, which came out nice and the receiving ladies loved them of course. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a woman who was flustered and busy making one small vase arrangement with a "hi" She was bothered that I was there on a Sunday and didn't have the courtesy to look at me while I figured out what I wanted. I told her I had 3 birthdays at the same time today and I want 3 little arrangements that are all the same to bring to Brunch, what do you suggest? She said, anything. I said any suggestions? She said, you tell me and I make It, anything. I said, I'm not sure let me look around and I found the moss bags and I said how much would It cost to make arrangements in these, and her response was, how much do you want to pay? I said I don't know they are small, how much would something nice cost? She said, It doesn't work like that, you have to tell me. So, regrettably, I said $75 each. She said, ok yes that's good I can do It for that. Come back in 30 minutes. After I came back for them, she charged me, I was expecting to leave a tip on my card however, there was not an option and the second I put the card in, It said approved for the amount. No pin or questions asked, so I said,oh how can I tip you on this? (because I believe in tipping even on impressively bad service, to give incentive to maybe be more kind to me next time) and she said, you can't. So she then asked me for my card again, puts It in the machine for me and asked me how much I wanted to tip, I said $10 and she ran the card for that amount. I don't recall a thank you but, Fine. Weird, but fine. Flowers were nice, I left, gave the flowers to the ladies they loved them, and one of the girls saw the Epicure sticker asked me to describe the lady that made them, laughed and asked me how rude she was, she told me her horror story we laughed and moved on. When I left last week I saw fig trees I liked and went on the website today and saw that the store delivers so I called the store to order the 3 trees to deliver to my house, and the same employee answered, bothered of course and said, "hang on" yes that's how she answers the phone. "Hang on" so I waited then she came back to the phone and I said hi, you have some fig trees I'd like to purchase. She then said "hang on" puts the phone down (on a counter) calls some other woman and says "someone wants to buy something" well after a 19min (as logged in my iPhone) conversation telling me she doesn't know what size the planters are, she thinks they are 14" but they maybe 10" and a few other comical exchanges, I gave my credit card, which she came back to the phone later to ask me for again, and then another time after It didn't go through because she repeated It back incorrectly. I don't know when the trees are coming, but I'm sure they will be lovely and this employee was half a degree warmer than the other. But, the final goodbye was her tryting to upsell me moss for $29.99 telling me how great It will look without even asking me where I'm putting them or what I'm putting them inside. I would first work on basic manners, then customer service, then if both of those are at least somewhat understood you can mix in something advanced like an upsell but to be completely honest, they can't even greet you in the store or answer the phone, so everything else is rather ambitious. I suggest some coaching and development if you care about your business, I've just read your reviews, you know, and if other people know including the people I'm gifting flowers to know, you know. And in closing, the quality of the work is not that impressive to deal with the misery of the process of getting plants. I have ordered flowers today , my situation was very impossible to complete and ill tell you why , i needed to order flowers ASAP and I only found out exact address of the delivery after 4 pm . I have called ALL flowers shops in the area, but most of them are closed around 5 pm and only will deliver next day . Do not buy anything from here. I was a customer for 2 years and the lady is a total scammer and has horrible customer service. I told her I needed a plant that could be in direct sunlight, she sold me a corn plant which needs to be in shade! $500 and 2 weeks later it started dying. She told me theres nothing she could do. Go to midtown garden center instead. It's not only 1/3 the price, but the girls there actually value their customers and know their plants. read more

STAY CLEAR of this business. I have to agree with all the negative comments about this florist. Terrible service, bad manors and a completely dishonest service!!! Don't be fooled that they have been open for 27 years - that just means 27 years knowledge of how to rip people off! Being based in London I needed to send birthday flowers to a client in Miami. Firstly the call was painful - I had to spell every single letter out over the phone, after 10 minutes the lady tried to give me her personal cell number so I could message her the details I had painfully given her during our call???? I ordered 24 White Long Stem Roses (no other flowers very specific about this) and in a vase. I was astonished to see what had been received by my client. 12 Roses in what looked like Funeral Vase with other flowers, I assume to make up for the other 12 missing roses (MISTAKE NO.1) After multiple phone calls to the Florist for a refund (a lot of calls stating they were busy and could not deal with my issue at that time as they had other customers, followed by the phone promptly put down at their end), I was told all kinds of stories, all of which contradicted the last conversation had. They claim they did send 24 White Roses and that my client and her team must be lying (MISTAKE NO.2) After my 9th call over a 4 hour period (not joking) they did offer to send more flowers as a gesture (birthday had already passed so why send more when you didn't get the first lot right?) when I said no this was followed by a reimbursement of $50.00 - lets take into account the original bouquet was $220.00. (MISTAKE NO.3) They thought because I was based in London that I wouldn't check with my clients team to see what had been received. They were wrong! (MISTAKE NO.4) I did not take the pitiful reimbursement offered, instead I took my business and my clients business away from them. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THESE PEOPLE! I did not have a lot of money to spend on florals and she went above and beyond to make my flowers look amazing. She is a truly rockstar!! I HIGHLY recommend going to Epicure. This woman is a THIEF!!!!!!! My husband gave her 700 and explained specifically what he wanted. He showed her a picture and said I want an areangement 5 times the size of this one in the picture. He even said I don't want it to fit through the door unless turned on it's side, that's how I I want it. She quoted him 700 for the flowers he asked for, and proceeded to send a bouquet in the most ridiculously tall and strange vase that looked like a leftover banquet centerpiece, that only had about 100$ worth of flowers in it!!!!!! My husband was so sad that his efforts to create a unique surprise for me was ruined due to his disappointment and feeling of being "robbed" which No man likes. It was my birthday and this woman not only robbed us monetarily but also ruined a special moment my husband was trying to create for me. He called her and she first tried making every excuse in the book, then finally apologized once she saw the pic of what was sent to us and blamed her assistant designer and offered to send another one. The second one was definitely nicer but sill BY NO MEANS even close to a $600 arrangement (since he spent 100 on the balloons with her). I also received another arrangement from epicure that day from my cousin. when I sent a pic to my cousin to thank her, she also was very upset by what was sent for the amount she paid. She said she couldn't believe how small the arrangement was since she specifically spent a very generous amount in order for a certain statement to be made by the arrangement.
