When you are in massage bed try to let go of the control and just trust it. 3. Book early or late appointment since there is no privacy in the open area. Expectation: Don't expect this service as a head massage. It's a deep clean of your scalp with premium hair productis. Your scalp feels clean and refresh afterwards. Improvement suggestion to the spa: Put up drapes for the washing area for each massage bed. I came in on a Monday at 12:30 PM and was actually the only client there, which made the whole experience feel even more peaceful and private. I was greeted by Serena and another staff member, and both were super kind and welcoming. The interior is SO cute! Very modern, chic, and minimal with this beautiful natural beige aesthetic that is just easy on the eyes. Definitely gives that calming, "okay, my stress level just dropped 20%" kind of vibe. ‍ Hair & Scalp Treatment -- $145 | 9/10 So what exactly IS a hair and scalp treatment? Think of it as a facial for your scalp! ‍ Instead of focusing only on the hair strands, the treatment focuses on the scalp by helping remove buildup, exfoliate dead skin, cleanse the scalp, stimulate circulation, and provide moisture and hydration to the hair and scalp. The 75-minute treatment included: Before & after scalp analysis Scalp exfoliation/scrub Scalp massage Shampoo Healing waterfall treatment Steam mist to restore moisture & hydration 10-minute neck + shoulder therapy Full-body massage chair Blow-dry service And the scalp analysis before AND after was probably one of my favorite parts! Woah! Talk about a refreshing outcome! My hair and scalp hasn't felt this fresh and clean for a while haha. I booked a session for my sister and I and we did the regular one without the blow out. Highly recommend. The girls who provided the service were super friendly and definitely got the job done. First get there you walk into an open setting spa vibe. You go to the back and get a robe and slippers on. Then your service provider will take you to your spot. They have these massage chairs that compress and give a back massage. Next time I will probably have it all turned off. They also give you a heating eye mask which is pretty relaxing and didn't affect my lash extensions. I've been here a few times before and unfortunately, this experience really rubbed me the wrong way. First, I want to say that Vanessa was very sweet and did a great job with my service. I have absolutely no complaints about her and really appreciated how kind and professional she was. The issue came when I went to check out. The service was advertised as 35% off, but the girl checking me out initially tried charging me $110 for the service. I had to point out, "Isn't it 35% off today?" She then said okay and changed the price, but even after adjusting it, the amount still didn't appear to reflect the advertised discount correctly. What made the whole situation feel even more uncomfortable was that the spa was completely empty and I was the only customer there. I obviously can't say what the intention was, but between being quoted the wrong price initially and then still having the pricing not add up after I questioned it, it honestly made me feel like they were trying to make a few extra dollars off of me. I've supported this business before and actually came in planning to have a good experience. I have around 250K followers on TikTok and was even considering making a video about my visit and promoting the business because I like sharing places I genuinely enjoy. Unfortunately, if I do share this experience now, I can't honestly make it a positive recommendation. It's disappointing because Vanessa was great, but the checkout experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that it genuinely makes me reconsider coming back. First time here and I LOVED it!!! My Shampoo & Scalp Therapy was scheduled for 01/06/26 @12:00. I booked my appointment online with a mandatory $25.00 deposit. I selected Fiona to do my services by reading the great reviews on YELP. I've seen all these social media posts about Japanese or Korean scalp washes and decided to give it a try. You first put on a terry cloth covering and robe then go to a room for your scalp analysis. Fiona was very helpful and answered all my questions. She first explained the scalp analysis and what to expect. She placed a wand device on my scalp and you could see through the live video how much hair product and scalp dryness I had. After the amazing scalp therapy I received which included scalp cleansing, shampoo & conditioning. I also received a neck and shoulder massage. They use the Japanese hair products by Milbon. Once Fiona was done with my Scalp therapy she took another scalp analysis so you can see the before and after results. Wow!!! My scalp was so clean and once Fiona blow dried my hair, it was so soft. I felt so amazing. Pure Head Spa is very clean and the staff are awesome!! I will definitely start doing the scalp therapy every other month. Anyways, I decided to treat my nieces, their mom, and my daughter to a relaxing Sunday together. I called to set up the appointment and spoke with a lovely lady on the phone. She did mention there would be three technicians available at 10 a.m. Since we were a group of five, I asked if it was possible to book everyone at the same time so no one would be sitting around waiting. She said she'd check with the owner and try to make it happen. I had a good feeling they'd pull it off. Come appointment day--I was pleasantly surprised the moment we walked in. The space was clean, simply decorated, and perfectly lit--enough to appreciate the details without feeling harsh or dim. The lady at the front greeted us with the warmest smile (I'm pretty sure she was the same one I spoke to on the phone). We filled out our intake forms while waiting for the rest of our group, and at no point did we feel rushed. Each of our technicians walked us through our treatments and made us feel completely at ease. The massage chairs were spotless and incredibly comfortable. The scalp treatment? Amazing. My hair felt soft, light, and airy afterward--so refreshed. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any of their packages. I am so disappointed to write this review, but I think it needs to be said. First, my technician was very kind. My one star is for the overall experience and not as a reflection on my technician. However, I am noticing that after this deep clean, my hair color has lightened, especially at the roots. I had not had a recent coloring and actually put off having my roots done for this appointment, so this is a concern. It should also be known that the seat/bed (for me) was extremely uncomfortable and there was no way to fix that. It is essentially a massage chair, but I was not given the option to personalize or choose what I wanted the chair to massage (like you can at the nail salon). The massage chair runs the length of your shoulders to your bottom and for me, it was just uncomfortable. If you ask to have it turned off, the massagers just stop wherever they are so you have to pick the right spot or you will be in pain. I was just not able to get comfortable so I really was not able to enjoy my service. My back is killing me today. I also feel like your neck should be more supported or laying on something softer...‍ I treated a friend for her birthday and she also had the same complaints about the massage chair. However, she was happy with how her hair turned out. Additionally, I purchased the 75 minute service for myself and the 90 minute service for my friend. We were essentially done at the exact same time.... I write this review as a warning to newbies to this service, because for the cost, I would not recommend this at all. read more

I had a great experience here. Unfortunately I forgot the name of my service provider but she was GREAT! The place is very clean and welcoming. The only downfall was that the procedure area was right in the open. I have had numerous head spa services at MANY places and none of them have been put in the open like this one. There is ZERO privacy and you can hear EVERYTHING and everyone who walks into the business can see you laying there and see what you're getting done, etc. I just felt that was a bit strange and awkward. Usually there's at least a curtain partition in between service stations to offer some privacy. Like I said previously, the service was great and the business is beautiful but I don't know if I'll return because of the layout of service area. It just feels awkward being out in the open with everyone, no partition and zero privacy. But with that being said, if you've never had a head spa service before, give this place a try. I envisioned the service to be an upgraded version of when my hair dresser massages my scalp. This was more like going through the car wash. I thought I might fall asleep like I do when I get a massage. The compression massage tables have harsher movements like some nail salons and you're not able to adjust these. I only had mascara on and that melted due to the heat eye mask. I was thinking about it the whole time. I paid for the upgraded service with the neck massage. I had in my mind that the technician would work on the back of my neck. She wrapped her hands around my neck like you would to choke someone. She gently slid them up and done my neck which did not do anything for me. The scrubbing is aggressive to get rid of the buildup. If you have a sensitive scalp, are worried about hair loss or your hair lightening I would not recommend it. It might just be the process. I thought the products smelled great and made my hair soft when it was done. I was really looking forward to a relaxing service. I should have looked into it further before hand.
