I arrived 15m before my appointment and asked about the foot soak. The receptionist was not at the desk, so the question was posed to a massage therapist who showed up and said that the receptionist was preparing it. I was given paperwork to fill out which I did without the aforementioned foot soak. 2. When I was shown to the massage room, the foot bath was there, and I asked whether the 15m foot soak would be counted as part of my massage. The therapist, Anita, left the room for 10m (part of my massage time now) and came back to say that the foot soak would not be offered. Instead she said she would add on a paraffin treatment for my hands and feet. 3. The actual "deep tissue" massage was a lot of petting and short superficial strokes. She did identify and dig in deeper to sore glut muscles which helped relieve some tension, but it was not the deep tissue massage I had expected, and she did not address my primary concern (bursitis). 4. She ended the massage after 50 minutes (minus the time she left the room). 5. She never followed through with the promise of a paraffin treatment. Even though I was offered a discount, I left more stressed than I arrived. This is not the way to treat anyone. Never promise something you can't deliver.

Jennifer is fantastic! My pain was mostly in my shoulders so she concentrated there for me but also did a thorough full body massage and finished with hot stones, which I had never had before. Amazing! I was so relaxed by the end that I could have just gone to sleep on the table. Jennifer could tell by where my pain was that I work on a computer a lot and after the massage she demonstrated stretches for me to do every 1-2 hours at work. She said that she can help with the massage but I need to help keep myself well day to day and I really appreciated that. I can tell that she really does care about overall well-being and enjoys what she does. My wife and I discovered Pure Massage about 3 month ago and I was hooked with the very first treatment. I have had chronic neck and back pain due to arthritis and several herniated discs for the past 20 years. Even surgery and a fusion of L4-L5 vertebrae did not cure my problem. For years I have been on many different types of pain medications including oxycodone. None of which give me any lasting relief. I get more relief from a 30 minute visit with Jennifer.
