I decided Ty give them a second try and I got Tracy so awesome some with experience . I went back yesterday what a mistake they rushed me and let me tell you all these bad reviews I should have read they're telling the truth rude can't or won't do simple art design and will play musical chairs and take regular patrons over you. The atmosphere has always been top notch as I visited with my husband for pedicures but they've stepped up the game with new services and a remodel! They do a good job but some of the detail could be more attentive. I've had the same person twice in a row do my nails and both times I ended up bleeding on my cuticles. She does a pretty good job, but could do without the pain/bleeding. She said it was Because my cuticles were dry, but I took her advice and applied vitamin E oil for 2+ weeks directly to my hands and still ended up bleeding. They also overbook themselves and understaff, especially on the weekends. They get to compensate by offering champagne or mimosas, but that only goes so far. I've been set aside in order for them to do an appointment and not get finished until the other appointment is almost done- not effective if you ask me. read more

Probably the worst gel manicure I've ever received. They were so many issues first, he cuticle and made my finger bleed. Secondly argued with me about the file and shaping of my nail and then was about to proceed with painting before he even pushed my cuticle back therefore, I had to address that, and he just seem quite annoyed. read more

This place is overpriced and I received terrible service. I only got a manicure with regular polish and my cuticles were not touched plus my polish is uneven and sloppy. The price on their menu said $15 and I was charged $18. It wasn't an $18 manicure experience. I paid $20 and got out as quickly as possible. Went here with a friend; we both got pedicures (water was BURNING hot on mine and the massage was missing from hers), and manicures (full set for her, shellac for me). My shellac was sloppy- globs over the edges, onto my cuticles and skin, and already lifting within one week, sheen missing on thumb nail upon leaving salon; my friend's nails were filled with air bubbles and thick under the edge of nails. This appointment started off rocky. I made an appointment for 12:30. Please note the salon is now called PURE. I drove past it the first time around because I was looking for Paradise. I was 4 minutes late because I had to circle back around. I get there and no one was available. They sat me in a chair and I waited for 20 minutes. I was about to get up and walk out when after 25 minutes the lady came over to fill the tub with water. I got the Callus Remover pedicure for $30. The woman was fantastic. Very detailed. My mother(I came along for the ride) made an appointment for 4pm for a set of acrylics, showed up a little early, around 3:40ish. The guy we spoke to(the owner?)was slightly rude about us showing up early, we didn't expect to be seated right then and there, we didn't mind the wait at all just wanted to check in. After a short wait my mother was seated at 3:54. It is now 4:34 and the man that has been working on her nails is no where to be seen, he keeps getting up to take new clients and get them started, leaving my mother with only the fake nails glued on. He finally moved her over to a new nail tech to start on another appointment, he seems like he over booked his day. I can't say she or I will be back after this visit, I read the reviews and everybody seems to love this place but it seems if you aren't a regular you don't get the same treatment. read more

The last two times I went went from bad to worst pedicure ever! The person that did my pedicure last time was Ester. I called today and was told that the only two experienced staff people that I personally knew if no longer worked at Pure Nail Spa! My husband purchased a gift certificate for me and that is the only reason I am returning. And I will stop service if the person does not know what they are doing or I can not understand them. And I will leave! I will give an update. So disappointed with this visit. My mom is going to have surgery, and really wanted a good pedicure, as it will be a while before she can have another one They completely rushed. We brought our own color, and they did a horrible job with the polish job on both of us. They barely touched the rough areas of our feet, and our feet do not even look like they have had a pedicure For the manicure, it was just as bad.. maybe 7 minutes long, barely massaged our arms. When checking out I told them we were very unhappy. They just said sorry We had to leave, and got to another salon to get our toes repainted. Probably won't come back. My friend and I went here for 2 mani pedis. We were walk-ins but they had us seated as soon as we picked out our colors. They offered us complimentary drinks and they were so nice! All the employees were so sweet and funny. I loved my pedicure and it has stayed on well. I ended up getting a dipping powder on my nails and it was so relaxing and she did a great job! If I could give this place zero stars I would. They told me they wouldn't take long on my nails and they had hardly anyone there except me. I waited and they took FOREVER before I sat down. I told them I wanted my nails to have a certain design on them and gave them a picture to show what I was talking about. The guy told me he couldn't do it and I had to wait for another lady to be able to do the design I wanted. the lady finally came over to me and tried to attempt to do it like the picture I showed her and it didn't look good at all, because she rushed it and looked unfinished. I told her that she messed up on them and they made me wait even longer just to fix it and I had to be somewhere, so I told them Never mind because I had to go and she finally attempted to "fix it" right then as I was leaving. I went back the next day to complain and told them they looked horrible and that it looked like someone with no experience did them. They were super rude about it and told me it was my fault for the way they looked. They didn't want to give me back my money at first and the guy that couldn't do what I wanted got an attitude and was threatening me and my mom and got super aggressive by getting in front of our faces and pointing his finger in our faces and told us that we should've been more clear and I should've told him exactly what I was wanting. I would not recommend them AT ALL, they have horrible customer service, super rude, wasted my time and didn't even consider my time, and they didn't even make sure if I was satisfied. Not happy at all. We called ahead to make sure there was room for what we wanted. They said there was. Showed up, was told the mani my daughter wanted was going to have to wait so they would give her 20$ off of a pedi while she waited. I wanted a simple Texas flag on my big toes. , nobody in the salon could do this. My daughter wanted a simple design for her nails.. they couldn't do this either. I ended up with plain ugly color I didn't want because I didn't pick anything out thinking a Texas flag would be easy daughter compromised because they could do the design she wanted but ONLY on ONE nail. Bought the more expensive pedicure with better massage... didn't massage much. Just held hot stones on my feet and burned them: nope not coming back. I never do reviews. This is my fav salon in Tyler hands down! I have been a customer for over 3 years now and it only gets better. The salon is always CLEAN. That's got to be the most important thing to me- if it's not clean, the techs don't matter, I just won't go. Almost all of the techs at Pure Nail are great though. Every once in a while they will get a new one that isn't great, but they never last long at this salon. The owners/managers are great- they do stay busy though and sometimes that causes our appointments to run a little longer than expected, but the pampering is so that we are in no hurry to leave anyway! Complimentary drinks, neck warmer, extra rub time- um yes please!! This is getting long, but I have to mention about my MIL. She doesn't walk very good so Vincent always takes special care of her. Pedicure then puts her in one of the nail chairs(on wheels) and rolls her across the salon to the table for her nails! Honestly, if I could give 0 stars, I would. For a mani pedi service estimated at 65-75 minutes, we were there for over 2 hours, even though we had appointments. On top of that, the person who picked up my purse spilled pink lotion on my white cashmere wrap. When I pointed that out, he just laughed and said sorry. I asked for a credit on my service to compensate for this issue, and they wouldn't budge above $15 and tried to make me feel guilty about losing money that should go in their pocket. I was shocked at how they were trying to dodge paying for something they ruined, and are are of the mindset that the cleaning should come out of my pocket. I had a great experience at Pure Nail! As a weekday walk-in for a pedicure, I only waited about 15 minutes. The spa is clean and the owners and employees are friendly and pleasant. I had a complimentary water( they have other options) and some time in an excellent massage chair while I waited for the nail tech to begin. He followed my instructions to cut the nails straight across and only used the nippers to trim the cuticles. The $25 basic pedicure includes both a hot stone massage and the usual lotion massage! They have a large selection of polish and even had the Cajun shrimp color I wanted to try. The polish application was perfect! I have a new favorite nail salon! read more

I went for mani, pedi and facial. They were adequate but it bothered me that the aesthetician didn't ask any questions about my skin or what I wanted. Okay so they are nice and welcoming give you something to drink I like but the lady I had do my nails was bad likeeeeee I was there for so Long I asked for one color, 087 and I asked for gel both toes and nails, my toes look good and was quick but my nails took so long I'm not satisfied with them and also I wanted a design and she couldn't do a cursive B!!! it looked like an 8 and I even showed her a picture of something similar as to what type of B I wanted it wasn't hard but she didn't satisfy my needs and my nails are so thick. read more
