The entire staff at the PTC office is absolutely amazing! Our 13 yo son had received several…read moreallergy shots several weeks in a row (for seasonal allergies) with only very mild reactions or no reaction at all. However, last night he did have a more severe reaction, just before the 15 min observation period was over. Thanks to Danielle's (MA) THOROUGH education on signs/symptoms of anaphylaxis during our first visit, my son immediately recognized his symptoms, and notified me. Danielle *believed* him, then assessed him quickly and calmly. Within 1-2 minutes, his symptoms progressed, so she calmly notified other staff who arrived in seconds. Amanda, NP, Brandy, NP, and Jacob, NP were all extremely professional, calm, and thorough as they monitored and cared for my son. Three staff stayed with us for 2 hours until all of us (my son included) agreed that he was stable and safe to go home. Dr. Agrawal was in constant communication with his staff throughout the episode via phone (even though he was at an event for his new office) to ensure my son was improving, and to stay informed. He and Amanda also requested I update them later that night via cell phone to ensure my son was still all good. This was so comforting to my husband and I!! Again, I cannot stress enough how valuable the education on anaphylaxis was to my son and myself! Danielle explained the information in a simple, concise and easy-to-understand way that my son obviously remembered! He knew something was happening to his body because of that education, and he felt confident to speak up. Now if anything were to ever happen to him outside of that office (heaven forbid!!), he feels 100% confident he can handle it and knows he will make it through unscathed! I almost don't want to give a review because I'm selfish and want him all to ourselves lol He is hands down the best pediatrician. They don't have doctors like him anymore. We have a newborn and a toddler and he's great with them both. He's a "get on the floor with the kids" type of doctor. He doesn't push vaccines and is all about good health and great supplements. His office is very accessible with great parking and it's located on the bottom floor. They have cute decorated rooms and a sick room, as well as a nursing room. The staff is amazing. They are busy but you don't suffer for that. They run the office well and will take time for all their patients. Denise does both front and back office and she is always very sweet and caring with the kids. I've been to many practices where the MA is so busy and not happy and kids pick up on that too. I was relieved as this ailment has been going on far too long. I'm waiting for the prescription for a few hours until I see an after visit summary saying he decided not to send a prescription. It's a bullshit move as we could've discussed other options on the call. He's not a doctor I would go to again. I will report this experience to the telehealth provider and make sure I don't get him ever again.
