As we walked around, they observed some valid potential areas for cleaning (carport awning, oil stains on driveway) that I hadn't before. I engaged City Wide recently in a relatively extensive remodel of my home. The work included tear…read moredown and drywall repair of two rooms and a hallway, a closet add-on, plus full bathroom restoration with tub, tile and shower door installation. There were four individuals involved in the work. The senior project man was well versed in home reconstruction and did a very good job on the demo and drywall construction. The second person was very good on the bathroom rebuild and her finish work was outstanding. The other two workers on the project were next to useless. The closet rebuild was a near disaster and nothing in it was square. Plus the closest was actually LONGER than standard and resulted in some ugly finish work inside the closet. Except for the bathroom rebuild, all the finish work left a lot to be desired. The two door mouldings had to be completely redone because of just careless work. When I hire someone to do finish work, I expect them to be AT LEAST better than what I can do myself. I can say that none of the finish work was what I would call good. And the final disappointment was in the clean up. Each day for FOUR WEEKS we had to clean up behind them to keep from tracking dust all over the house. They talked a really good game at the beginning, and at the end, they couldn't get away from us fast enough because they were preparing for the local trade show. They left work unfinished and we just accepted it because we were equally glad to see them go after four weeks . I don't usually write reviews, but I just could not let this go unanswered. They were paid in full because it was just not worth the effort to continue.
