She uses a hand held translator to communicate regarding my needs. This morning my lower back was giving me trouble. My experience was exceptional. Maybe because I came for a hard asian/thai style massage. That is exactly what I got when I wanted. I like walk ins. Hard to find here. I don't mind tipping in cash, I always do. So I don't have the same complaints. My body feels great and I will be back. read more

This was the most awful "massage " I've ever experienced. Two women were at the reception desk when I arrived. Charged $70 cash before massage. I was walked into a dark room with a hard, wooden table. There was a small bath towel to cover myself. You were practically smothered in the hole for your face, as it was stuffed with tissues. The woman lightly pressed my back. This was not a massage. After she is finished, she yells, "lady, you done!" When I walked from room, she demanded a tip. I had no more cash, so, used my card. Told her 15 percent and she tried go negotiate! I told her no, and she placed TWENTY DOLLARS on my card. I should have called the police, as this is theft. There's a reason these women are always sitting on the sidewalk outside this alleged business...they have no business. Run, run far!!!! read more

Most of the reviews are negative. So my expectations were low going in. However, I just got done with an hour massage with Jenny. It was excellent! I asked for a medium hard treatment and it was perfect. I've had massages at posh resorts that were not as good. This was not a push push yank yank you're out of there in 30 minutes kind of place. It was a full hour of non rushed professional massage. I highly recommend Jenny if that's what you're looking for. read more

I was referred to Pure Time by a friend. As a local business man I always try to support other Local Businesses. I called and scheduled a appointment. I must say I was very impressed with the atmosphere and how clean and attention to detail the place was. The state if being impressed didn't end there. My therapist was top notch. She asked questions to make sure that just the right pressure and techniques were used. I cant say enough about my experience. I would highly recommend and the rates charged are in line with what I have paid elsewhere. read more

Got a Groupon for a 60 minute foot massage. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back! The place was clean, warm, and comfortable. The young woman who did my massage was sweet and adjusted her pressure when I requested that it be a bit lighter (she started out very firm and strong). I have been awaiting the opening of Pure Time for several weeks. Today was the Grand Opening. I scheduled a appointment with a Therapist named Monica. I arrived at my scheduled time and was promptly greeted and taken to a private room for my massage. I opted for a hour and half and it was worth every minute. Monica makes sure to give you a professional massage that will have you wanting to schedule your next appointment before your last one is even over. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's nasty and when I was walking out. The massage "man" stopped me and said "lady are you not going to tip?" WHO DOES THAT???? I am a massage therapist for the last 8 years and I have never 1 time ask for a tip. Very very unprofessional. As for their Facebook of no call no shows and being on their "black list" welcome to a service industry. If you black list everyone that does not cancel then you will be out of business in less than a year. read more

I should have read the reviews and requested Monica. Stopped in on a whim and got Lou. Massage was adequate, although I was never asked if there were specific areas on which I would like for him to concentrate nor was I ever asked if I preferred a lighter or deeper touch. Also, first time I've ever had a massage (and I've had a lot) in complete silence. There was no communication from him and there was also no music in the room, plus the lights were not dimmed and there was only a window with a curtain separating the massage room from the reception area, which was not only a little uncomfortable, but whenever there was noise or activity in the reception area, you heard it in the massage room. Also, I found it odd that at the end of the massage, he said "I'm done" and left the room! Massage was okay, but I think he needs to work on his personal skills. Whole experience was more clinical than relaxing. Unfortunate, because in this area, they could have a really good business. Hopefully Monica will talk to him and he can improve his skills. read more

Huh. Somehow my review MAGICALLY got erased. My wallet is still reeling from the $40 I wasted here. It was a few months ago. An older lady massaged me and told me in Chinese (I speak Mandarin), that she was not a trained masseuse, but an accountant. She was nice enough. Patted around on my back for a while, but not nearly enough to do any deep tissue work. As I went to pay, some ghetto people with a HUGE wad of cash (drug dealers?) were behind me. She was rude to them, yet asked poor me if I wanted to give a tip (for the most crappy massage of my life-FYI, I lived in China for 6 years and their massages are awesome. Even better, they cost $5-10/hr!). I said sure, $2, and she said in English in front of everyone "our tips start at $5" huh?! With poor Chinese business techniques, I don't see how they have lasted here, but I guess there are suckers around here who don't know any better and would pay for this crap! Save your money!
