From making the appointment with the receptionist, to getting the service, I felt so beyond comfortable... especially since this is a very private and invasive service. I never once felt uncomfortable. Had a intimate wax with Mabel. I immediately was alarmed because she applied the hot wax to the insides of my labia! I was shocked at how hot it was. Noticed she doubled dipped the wax stick, which is unsanitary. A few days later, started itching down there like crazy. Turns out I got folliculitis and a yeast infection. I've wanted eyelash extensions for so long and finally went for it! I researched lots of places and decided to come here because I was in the area and have seen some of their work on Instagram. The girls in the front are super nice and helpful and I'm so happy with my results and thought my classic lashes was a good deal at $100, they also offer %15 off if you've never been. Jasmine for my lashes and i was so happy with my natural but beautiful results. It does take almost an hour but I felt like I was totally getting my moneys worth in lashes. I used Daniela for my eyebrows (I think she's the owner) and she did so good and spent time shaping my unshapen brows, the waxing didn't hurt at all.. how do they do that? I love love love this place! First, I have to mention how clean and chic the place is. It's so cute and decorated so well! I also really love the staff. Waxing can feel a bit uncomfortable sometimes and the whole staff makes me feel welcomed as soon as I walk in. Sam at the front desk is always so kind and helpful when I'm trying to book appointments with my crazy schedule! She's patient and accommodating. Jasmine is literally amazing at doing eyelash extensions. I've been going to her for about a year and I love how she takes her time and makes sure I leave with volume lashes! Daniela transforms my eyebrows! I have a scar on one eyebrow and she always shapes my eyebrows and helps make them look flawless. She's even given me tips on how to fill in my eyebrows. They communicate poorly, and expect you to pay for their communication error... so pay close attention and verify they understand what you asked for. I went in and asked for Eyebrow tint, the lady did her thing, and after she was done, I looked at my brows in the mirror and was disappointed as I didn't see much of a difference. So I paid, and left. I get home and realize that she didn't tint them but only brushed them with makeup after she waxed them... (I've never had anything professional done to my eyebrows, so I didn't know what to expect. I thought the waxing was part of the tinting...I don't have much to be waxed anyways....) I went in the next morning, got them tinted, but rather than doing it for free because they didn't hear my initial request, or at least give me a significant discount, they charged me full price. Not a way to keep customers happy.... So although I liked the tint, and the staff is friendly, I won't be going back simply because I feel I was charged for something I didn't ask for... Amazing work by savannah. Got a hybrid extension set for my 7 day vacation- I spent 3 days at the beach and in the water and I barely shed at all. Now I'm almost 2 weeks out from when I got them done and my eyelashes are still pretty full and look great! She really took care of me. Summer is busy so definitely schedule yours 4 weeks ahead. She's so gentle that I could literally take a nap while she's waxing me. Came here for the first time last week to get my brows waxed / tinted. I have a regular spot that I usually go to in Westport, but came here because I was super busy, didn't have the time to go to westport & needed a place closer to home. i scheduled an appt with Johanna online. I really wanted to love this place and had hopes that this place would become my new go-to for my brows Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. AT ALL. I left there and my eyebrows didn't even look like they were done. My eyebrow hairs were still super long and untamed. The tint was applied and wiped right off immediately, not allowing enough time for the hair to actually tint. This seemed odd to me.... because whenever I get my brows tinted elsewhere, the tint is left on for at least 5-10 minutes. A before and after picture was taken of my brows, but I found it funny that makeup / powder were applied to my brows prior to the after picture being taken. I guess this is their secret to perfect looking brows in all of their posts. But that's not truly what my brows looked like once the powder was washed off. Whenever I get my brows tinted elsewhere, they look filled in and FULL. Not here... I had an event to attend over the weekend and had to fill my brows in to make them look decent. I was so disappointed. What a waste of $$ and time. I should have just made the trip to Westport. read more
