I have been to Pure Wellness Studio a couple times for massages and I always leave feeling very relaxed and "fixed". I have frequent issues with my upper back and neck due to orthodontic work that puts a lot of strain on my jaw muscles...which then puts a lot of strain on my neck muscles....which then puts a lot of strain on my back muscles...which then.....I think you can see where I am going with this! The therapists at Pure have helped me out on more than one occasion. They can offer various kinds of massage - relaxing, pre-natal, deep tissue, and Alanna in particular can teach you a thing or two about infant massage! They also offer personal training and TXR training. You can follow them on Twitter and Facebook which I much prefer to spamming my inbox with deals! Their prices are also very reasonable and they can do direct billing with some insurance providers. They are also often trying to help out the local community. For example, this month, they are offering 10$ off any massage with a donation to the Stollery. I know they have also done food bank donations before as well in exchange for discounted massage. Never in my life wrote a bad review about any company, Terrible customer service and communication among the staff and Management. The manager was never aware of a previous complain about the customers leaving the massage session with nail scratches left with their back burning for two days . They still proceded to charge the money and still after several months requesting a dr note that was never asked for in the first appoiment. After pulling the money from the card few months later they indicated it's our issue and to deal with our own insurance. I'll say client be aware and any complain go directly to the boss instead of getting surprises ( bills) in the mail several months later . I was forbidden to go to next appointments. read more

So this was my first masage in a long time and I live in summerside 5 minutes from the studio! So I gave them a call and was able to get in the next day for a 1 hour massage with Kevin Matheson. I was uneasy going in to see a male massage therapist as I'd only seen females prior to this visit! I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment and was greeted by Kevin, I was wanting to claim my masage directly through manulife, but when they went into the system to claim it there was an error message, which was a bummer because it's much more convenient to do direct billing, but I paid and carried on with the appointment! He took me to one of the rooms and gave me ample time to make myself comfortable. Again, still uneasy as this was my first time with a male massage therapist. We started right away, and he was very easy to talk to and I was glad that conversation flowed easily as I'm a chatter box! He explained to me I would be sore the next day as I had some problems in my top right shoulder in my "trap"?? Haha, anyways we finished the appointment and I got dressed and he met me at the front desk and had a glass of water ready for me and informed me to drink plenty of water! Overall it was an awesome experience and great conversation! ! ! I'll definitely be going back in the near future! read more

I just went for half an hour session today, kori was working on my back, it was half an hour session, i noticed all he did 5 min hot treatment and 5 min massage, then all done! I am just wondering how the time work with massage therapist! billed me half an hour but got a service of 10 min! will never go there and no recommendation for this place as well! read more

I have been seeing Raylene H at the 75st location for over a year now and have nothing but good words! Have been for injuries such as sprained ankle and whiplash and she always fixes me up! All the staff is friendly and very professional. Studio is always clean! Love this place have referred many friends and won't go anywhere else! I have been going to see Tracy at Pure Wellness Studio for a couple of years now for monthly massages, and I love it here! I enjoy getting the reminder in my email a couple days from their system that I have a massage coming up! It's always that little moment of 'YES!' LOL The team that works there are professional and comfortable to be around, and I look forward to my visits. My job is a real mix, so I can go from working at a keyboard all day to spending 20+ hours on my feet running around sites, so it's important that I be ready to go all the time. I go here to be ready for whatever is coming at me in the next 30 days! I've had to change a few appointments over the last couple of years, which could have been an issue, but the system they use emails all changes to you to make sure everything is correct, so I never have to worry! No problems at all, ever. They don't just do massages, too! There's acupuncture, private and group fitness classes. Even though they have all this going on, it's still really quiet in there! I would recommend this business to anyone (and I have!). read more

This company is the first company I have written a bad review for. Here is whst ive veen dealing with for over a week now. Their employee Tracy who booked my spa services obviously didn't know what she was talking about when she booked the services and she actually said as much to me at the time but when I went in she ended up being the one massaging me and it was absolutely far beyond the worst massage I have ever had in my entire life she was pinching me the entire time and saying that it was getting rid of my toxins. It hurt! To make matters worse she continues to lie to the manager / director when we got out of the massage room, the director said that she would take care of things with the owner and that the two of them would get back to me. Well the owner never did contact me she pushed it back down to the director, the director pushed it back down to Tracy -the original liar who gave me the worst massage ever. I am left to deal with Tracy who continues to lie and this entire organization is made up of unethical lying people and no one wants to take responsibility for an issue. They know that I'm unhappy with what happened I've been trying to be reasonable with them I even offered to pay for half of the service and you know what they did instead? They ran my credit card which they had on file for the full amount without my permission - yes you heard me right. Not impressed, and I am very strongly considering taking them to small claims court even though it'll cost me time they need to be outted and they need to pay for their mistakes. What do you think? Pure Wellness Studio is a horrible business. Run in the opposite direction. read more

Over the last few years I have been there on numerous occasions and the service is always exceptional. Every therapist I have had has been professional, well trained, courteous and provided great care. I come by my opinions personally and professionally because I am a retired chiropractor and I know a true well trained health professional when I interact with them. My husband and I have both been getting massages at this studio for over a year now. My husband was actually the first to start with Pure Wellness. He enjoyed the benefits and atmosphere so much he encouraged me to try them out too. I was NOT disappointed, and won't go anywhere else. And neither will he. He sees Jenn, and I see Tracey. It's quiet, and Tracey made me feel very relaxed from my first appointment with her. She inquired with me how much pressure I like on our first visit, and what I wanted to get from seeing her, and since then does a check in with me of where I would like her to focus. She asks what I have been up to since I saw her last, and she uses that knowledge to fix things I didn't even realize needed fixing. I walk out feeling amazing every time! My health, and my "trouble areas" which had pain have improved significantly. Customer for life! read more

I do not like when a business cannot claim responsibility for their mistake. I asked for a 30 min massage appointment, called ahead to make sure I had the right day and time (because I had gotten no confirmation) was told I was scheduled for 60 min. I reiterated that I only wanted 30 min and got an affirmative 'Sure, I'll just change that.' When I arrived, I was told that I was going to still be charged for the full 60 min. Of course I felt put out, because I didn't book me in wrong, okay the 30 min appointment on the phone and the have me drive all the way there to only tell me the I was going to be charged for extra time I didn't ask for. This business has basically acted like a two year old child who has been found doing something wrong and looks for any way out of owning up to it. I went ahead with the massage because my back was really pained up and to top that all off the massage preformed by Jennifer was not even good. read more
