It was ok. A little more pricey than our usual spot. I got the pedicure as usual. At first the water was too hot, then they adjusted the temp. I got the 10 minute pedicure. There must have been a timer somewhere because once she washed the wax off my feet, she left and didn't come back. They offer drinks, but we didn't want any. They also didn't accept the Yelp coupon. So you may want to delete it from the profile.

So she kept hurting me on my pedi. My massages was not 15 mins. My French tips look so bad I paid 220 for 2 people and wow I'll never be back. I tried to talk to them about it but that didn't seem to help so I'm about to head to another nail salon that will fix it

Just ok. This was my first visit. The salon is clean with many offerings and everyone was very nice. I got powder dip on my natural nails and the process was normal and as expected but the shape was haphazard. The almond shape I had to begin with was smooth but grown out and as she cut them down and reshaped them the end result was an almost almond shape with jagged edges. This disappoints me since they charge extra to cut and re-shape the nails. I was charged $75 when most salons charge around $50.

    Ring finger bleeding

I came in for dip polish and was seated right away. Conveniently located but the job was Rushed and not careful whatsoever. Burnt with the spinning nail file 3x, cut my cuticles and made them bleed in two places and left dip residue around my nails. Good selection of colors but shaping and dip job are very rushed and half hazardous. Prices are also vastly different then what's on their menu. Price for dip with tips is written as $40 and was charged $65.

I previously wrote a bad review and the owner messaged me to come back and he would give me a discount months ago and today I finally went back. I had a great experience and I love my nails. Also, my nail tech Anne was amazing and made sure I was satisfied.

Left hand a week or so later where paint chipped & my nail broke. nails you can see through? This entire experience was a waste of my time!

I will NEVER go to Purelux again! The technician who did my nails didn't care about what she was doing, she rushed through, & she made my REAL, strong nails weak! I wish I could give you her name but she didn't wear a name tag. I went in for gel polish. You could see straight through the polish. She did not add enough coats. Not even a week later, the paint chipped and MY nails began to break off. The only good thing I have to say about this establishment is that the interior was nice & the wine was good, but that is NOT a good enough reason to tolerate their terrible service. Please don't waste your money here!

I've finally found a place that does the Dip well! They almost have too many color options to sift through.

Everyone was super nice and helpful!! The whole process was very relaxing overall a great experience

I had only been here once last year and thought the tech then didn't seem overly friendly, but chalked it up to her not knowing me. I returned yesterday out of convenience, which was my mistake. Had I visited Yelp first, I wouldn't have ever visited this business. The entire appointment felt rushed. When I sat in the pedicure chair, I noticed a dirty straw that clearly had sticky residue on it lying on the arm rest table, which made me question how well they clean and sanitize, but I dismissed thinking maybe it was overlooked. I got a toe polish change and fill in and was in and out in less than an hour and a half. I had implied on arrival that I wanted the gel on my toes soaked off only to have them be drilled anyway. The girl showed up with a suitcase of tools, did the work, and hurriedly escaped to her next client, leaving me feel like I was in the Atlanta airport. I asked how tip would be split since I was paying with card and would have two techs for hands and nails and she promptly told me I could only tip via Venmo or cash. Most places do this to avoid the fees from credit cards, but I was charged that fee anyway- also without being forewarned, which businesses in TN are supposed to disclose and this salon did not. I have never been told I can't use a card to tip. It felt very strange and unprofessional. The next tech hurriedly arrived, rushed through doing my hands. I already had a nice shape to my nails, but did need them shortened. I was charged for both a cut down and a reshape. Huh? They were already in the shape. So, you effectively charged me $10 to shorten my nails. Ridiculous. I was also charged to remove the gel from my toes for $5, $36 for the gel polish change, and $10 to put acrylic on two toes where the nails were splitting - over $50 for gel on toes and didn't even get pedicure service. Perhaps this salon would do better to inform of all the miscellaneous fees. $123 before tip for not even getting a full set nor a pedicure is highway robbery. Way too much nickel and diming going on here. I've been to many salons in the last year from travel and none left me feeling as unwelcome and taken advantage of as this one. I'm shocked they didn't charge me for the plastic cup they served my water in! I walked out and it felt like they didn't care if I walked out and never returned. Not the way to do business when there are as many nail salons in the entire block from Poplar to Mendenhall, Sanderlin and White Station. The only positive I can give is that they have a large selection of nail colors and brands- but you can quite literally go to Gloss and get a comparable selection, which is where I should have gone to begin with.

My time at this nail salon was probably my worst ever. I came in on 6/18/2026 for a pedicure…read more Because I asked for a classic pedicure (the cheapest one), they immediately treated me like less than. I wanted to try French tips on my toes for the first time and asked the tech, Thomas, for advice since he has the experience. He asked to cut my nails "a little" and proceeded to chop off a massive amount. When I asked him to add acrylic to elongate the big toe so the French would look right, and to do the same to my short pinky toe, he refused the pinky and kept the big toe the exact same short length. Thomas completely rushed through the service--he barely scraped, used zero lotion, and the acrylic didn't even make sense. To top it off, the way he told me the price felt like he was insinuating I couldn't afford it. The way he spoke to me was more dehumanizing than anything. I explained all of this to the male manager and agreed to stay to let a tech named Emma fix it, which I appreciated. However, the nightmare continued the next day when I came back to get a full set. Even though they knew I was upset, they assigned me the exact same guy, Thomas, to do my full set. They gave me $20 off to make up for his terrible service the day before, but the overall energy here is just garbage. Thomas is incredibly unpleasant. He rushes, and when you express that you don't like something, he gaslights you and talks to you like you're crazy. I told Thomas and the female manager that my nail shape looked odd, like they were standing up. Instead of trying to find a fix, they shrugged it off and said, "Well, it looks normal to me." I am the one spending my money and the one who has to wear them, but my feelings didn't matter at all. When I pointed it out, Thomas literally snapped at me, saying, "You can't see that it's flat on your nail? You can't see that well?" It is completely rushed--they just want to do it and get you out. To make matters worse, I decided to get a color change on my toes today because I ultimately hated the French tips after yesterday. They charged me $30 for a polish change. Their menu explicitly states a polish change is $18. Charging me $30 after I just left their salon crying and upset the day before is absolutely crazy. The work itself can look fine, but they treat you like crap. You go to a salon to relax. You cannot relax when people are ignoring you, gaslighting you when you say you don't like something, and making you feel like you can't voice your opinion because nobody is going to listen. I work hard for my money and I don't have a ton of it to throw away. Having to spend my money on something I don't even like is not cool. I will never return.

I've seen several FB posts in the past so I was comfortable proceeding. Very easy to book via their site. No wait upon arrival. Very clean location. I was paired with Leilani as my tech and she was fantastic. We chatted the entire time about so many things. She is a sweetheart. She did an amazing job on my natural nails. She provided exactly what I requested. I would visit again.
