I used to go to this salon all the time, but I stopped because I felt like the services requested (mani/pedi) were rushed. I went again today, because other salons were crowded, they weren't. My pedicure was rushed. Basically let me feet soak 3 minutes, quick rub of the pumice stone, moisturized, painted and done. NOPE! This was when I decided to Never go back. My manicure was also rushed. I had to remind the nail tech (Kim) that she didn't finish cutting my cuticles or attending to my nail bed, she argued with me that she did. I had to remind her she only did 2 fingers on my right hand! I don't have time or patience for a quick slap of paint and lotion on my hands and feet, for them to feel like that is quality service. I was the only person at the salon at the time. There was absolutely no reason to rush through my services. Don't waste your time going. Sad, because I loved this place at one point. I will never go back again. Their customer service has gone downhill. read more

I have been going here for awhile and they've done great work previously but the customer service and the quality of the manicures have gotten worse. I was the only person in there a few days ago and they didn't even start on my shellac until an hour later and then once starting, she half did them. I had to continue to tell her that my nails were uneven and that their were lots of bubbles in the shellac polish. After a few days, I had to come back and get 4 of my nails repaired because they were already chipping and once repairing them, she didn't soak the shellac polish off but rather just ripped it off. read more

This is my favorite nail place and I would give it more stars if I could. This is obviously not a high end salon but rather a humble, honest, family run business with people who are kind and excellent at doing nails. It's incredibly clean, the utensils are properly sterilized, they always use a new razor and the employees wear gloves. The prices cannot be beat! I usually get the manicure + pedicure for around $35. The pedicure is amazing. They take their time and the hot stone message at the end is the best part. They also wrap your legs in hot towels while applying the polish. Honestly makes you feel as if you are at fancy salon. They also recently got new massage chairs which are perfectly relaxing. Kim and her staff are awesome!! They are so sweet. My sister, mother and 86 year old grandmother visit regularly and they always remember us and ask about our family if one of is not there. My grandmother has diabetes so they are always extra careful when doing her nails even without us having to remind them. Before my wedding I asked Kim if I could being by friends and family after hours. She kept the place open after 7pm for us, asked 2-3 employee to stay back and did not even charge extra. You know, I've always believed that if you can't say something nice, you should wait until you can. So, the nice: my sisters-in-law and I got in with no wait and my pedi has lasted three weeks. The ladies who worked on us were polite, efficient, and kind about our incessant sister-jabber. The not-as-nice: the overall look of the place is a little dingier than Spa Nails on McLean (not sure if the two are related), and my massage chair was actually falling apart (left armrest separating from the back of the chair). Also, I always get weirded out when they ask if you want a razor on your feet (you know, for the dead skin). Lucky for me, I pumice on the regular at home so she decided I didn't need the "razor treatment." Anyway, it wasn't all bad, but I can't say that I'd make a special trip to go here again. read more

Love this place! They do a great massage and don't get the polish all over your skin, like some places. They are always quick to get you seated, serviced and out the door. They have a frequent customer card with a coupon too for anyone who goes regularly. read more

I am actually here now arrived around 5:30 maybe 5:45 clearly online the hours say open until 7pm. As soon as I walked in I told them what I wanted manicure and pedicure and the lady told me to hurry because they are closing at 6:30. Now this is the Spa Nails on Madison & McLean. I said ok I don't know why I need to know that. See Yelp I'm all about Customer Service because that is what keeps people coming. Even right now I just got interruped as I was posting this to pay. Everyone in the salon was friendly, but they had a very limited selection of shellac colors and they didn't paint the entire nail bed so it looks like I had my nails painted a week ago instead of this afternoon. I'm going to have to pay for another manicure before going on vacation in 2 days, so I wasted my time and money getting a manicure here today. read more

First experience and was very unhappy. I asked for tip and they didn't do it. Wasn't until they were almost finished that I realized they didn't do tip and told me they couldn't fix it and if they did it would cost me $50. The very best nail salon in Memphis! I have be going to Spa Nails since they have been in Eastgate on White Station. The owner is great, always remembers her customers and makes them feel welcome. The nail techs do a wonderful job. I went this past Friday and took a friend with me. As always they did a fantastic job on my mani pedi. My friend was very impressed and said she will be going back. I went to this nail salon on a whim and was told that I would only have to wait five minutes. Instead I waited 45 minutes so basically the owner Kim lied. Secondly the nail polish seems really old, none of them were even filled to the top. And also the tubs were not clean because you can still see dead skin in the cracks of the tub. You could probably get a fungus or a type of infection in there I wouldn't recommend going to this place. So pissed will never go again! They also overcharge and try to convince you to do more than you should. Other places I have gone have cheaper prices and better service as well. read more

I tried Spa Nails with a friend of mine. The technicians were very good and we were happy with our nails. There are two issues I had for not returning. We made appointments with the same technicians for a second visit. I found my girl just starting to work on someone when we got there at precisely the correct time, may even 5 mins. earlier. We sat and waited over a half hour when she came over to tell us that the owner, who was present, does not work by appointments. It doesn't get more inconsiderate than this after waiting so long, especially. Why in the world did they take our appointments if they were not going to honor them? The other problem is that there is a very small nail drying area in the back that has two seats on wheels and swivel along with a sudden collapse when you sit on them.. This is hard to control for safety when you have wet nails. Definitely not a good experience for us and we will not return. If I had to say, management spoiled it. East Memphis is in need of a really good salon, good work, reasonably priced, customer concern with courtesy, and I don't mean a nail mill. read more
