My wife wanted the purest water for drinking besides whole house water softener & filtration. We obtained several estimates but we were most interested in this particular Purifyx-Rainsoft company bc of the lifetime warranty on all of their products. Bill initially came out to do the water test on our water besides going over in detail about Rainsoft. We appreciated his detail & sales pitch. They in fact came out the next day to install our water filtration system in our garage & reverse osmosis underneath our Kitchen sink. It only took them three hours although one guy had to return an hour later bc a hose was left hanging. I spoke with the boss' wife Kelly who made sure all of our concerns were taken care of. I also conversed with Alexandria too who was very helpful & quite knowledgeable. Plus the day after our install Laddie one of their service techs came out to our home to explain the computer part of the system. So far my wife feels the difference on her skin as it's not super super dry as well as laundered items were very soft. She's very happy we finally got this done bc it was close to a year she had been waiting for it! Yay she says. Also they included an air filter too. Almost forgot about that! Initially price seemed high but bc we paid cash up front they reduced the price plus we also received the air filter machine as well. My wife was thrilled & very happy! Bc she's happy so am I!!! We got the whole house water filter and softener with a lifetime warranty. We immediately noticed the difference in our water quality. They were very responsive (even in the weekend). Upon running through the contract and credit, they pulled up on the designated date and time, for the install. Everything was done professionally and they will also walked me through the user settings of the equipment. This was done in Sacramento, CA, where we have city water. I signed a contract for 0% APR for 36 months with no down payment. The total cost was around $5.5k (for a used water filter but mine also came with a lifetime warranty) and the monthly payment would pay it off by then. We recently moved into the area and a bunch of people come over to the house to give us business cards for landscaping, security systems, etc. There was a representative that told us about water purification system, Rainsoft and if we listened to his 30 minute talk, he would give us a $25 dollar gift card to Home Depot. In order to qualify for the promotion, both the wife and husband needs to be there. Unfortunately, he came and my wife was not there and he said he will come back another day so I said okay and he was nice about it as he said it happens quite a bit. Mike Bossi did came back when my wife was there. He gave us the demo and he was pretty convincing as to be honest, we were in it for the gift card :) It took around 40 minutes and he was pretty funny and entertaining as well and the difficult part was the price as for some reason they save it for the end as I am sure if they give you the price first the customer will say no. The price was something I was expecting, but then since it was Black Friday, he discounted it even more, plus you get 5 years of free soap. We ended up getting the soft water and osmosis system and did not get the drinking water one as it was $500 dollars more. Anyways Mike communication skills were on top as he pretty much responded to our e-mails and calls very fast like within an hour if we had any questions. He dropped off a sample kit too for our house. The installation takes around 3 hours as they set it up in the backyard. They have to dig trenches and install in more pipes. They were very professional as well. So now does the system work or a scam. Well not so sure how much water I will save, but overall, I am happy as I do not see the hard water marks as promised. Definitely worth the money as we put landscaping aside to get this system. read more

The sales person came to the house and completed their water test. I already know I was buying a whole house filter and softener system, it was just which one. They had a few same day discounts that helped close our deal. There was some soap package deal included but it's been a month and haven't heard anything about my subscription to that. Not sure I would buy into it anyway. There are filters in this system that need to be replaced yearly and others that need to be replaced every few years. Since I didn't get the communication about the soap, I'm leery about their communication about changing the filters. They tell you they have reminders . The installer was excellent and left clean work and explained the system well. I would give 5 stars if I wasn't doubtful about their follow up. read more

We recently bought a newly constructed home in Brentwood. The Builder informed us that the house is pre piped for and has designated installation spot for a house a water softener system. We were told the water is very hard in Brentwood, and would damage plumbing over time. After we moved in, we saw first hand, immediately the effects of the very hard water on counter surfaces, glasses and dishes, laundry and to our bodies. I'm not sure why the builder does not just go ahead and install the system since they are well aware of the hard water effects. (That would be another story) In the mean time we did receive a direct mail piece from the local Rain Soft dealer Purifyx. I also had did some preliminary research on these systems. Mike (the owner of this Rain Soft distributor in Brentwood), came out and did the water test demonstration. We were unpleasantly surprised at just how bad the water really is as was confirmed by the test. Where do we sign up I said?! I knew we needed the system even before the test but this absolutely confirmed this. Now, the cost of the system is pricey. at least I thought it was. But it was in line with what I had researched. It is an investment-but well worth it, given how wonderful the system performs. No more dirty water sludgy water spots on the shower, sinks, countertops and dishes. Clothes come out clean. Our skin is not dry and scratchy after a shower. It is amazing. The bonus with the purchase was the soap products. These are environmentally friendly, concentrated cleaners and soaps. They are all good, with some products being very good to excellent. My favorites are the dishwashing detergent, and multi purpose cleaner. These were 'free' with the purchase and the supply will last several years. Mike will tell you about it when you schedule an appointment. The installation of the system was professional and took little time. We did however, have a snafu with our unit. We called Mike and he came out himself right away that Sunday morning. The problem was quickly resolved and we appreciate the personal and fast service! If you live in Brentwood and own your home- you owe it to yourself, your house, and your family.
