The salon is clean but the services were kind of disappointing. The custom facial I got had nothing custom about it - I don't like making blanket statements but it was the worst I've ever had - they use latex gloves the whole time that are too large for their hands so the sound and the feeling of them was not pleasant or relaxing. It didn't feel like the girl wanted to touch my face and most of the time I thought What is happening i've never experienced a facial like this. Half way through it i kicked myself for not taking up the girl up on her offer to do a shorter treatment - especially after i went to leave and found out I had to pay for something that was supposed to be a gift, and the girl checking out joked how the same thing happened to an elderly couple the week before. Obviously, there is a flaw in their booking system. The deep tissue massage was not awful if you don't like pressure I would not call it deep tissue. I won't be going back and honestly would not recommend.

She was very meticulous when adding color to each layer of hair and her attention to the smallest details was phenomenal. For reference, I have very dark Asian hair so Joanne spent hours ensuring it got as light as I wanted. This was the first time I have gotten so many highlights and I walked out of the salon with a brand new look that I absolutely love and thank Joanne for working with me to get the exact style I wanted. As someone who visits from Seattle, I plan on going back to the Third Floor every time I am in the valley for anything from a cut to more color. The people are amazing and the view from the chairs are unbelievable. I would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone visiting or living in the Hailey/Sun Valley area.
