They were rude and rough on me because I changed my toenail polish color only 2 toes in, I've had so many pedicures and I've never had the bottoms of my feet hit so hard or my ankles clanked together with hot rocks... you can clearly tell when they're talking shit about you in their language. When I came in to get my gel nail polish removed they seemed irritated and the lady scraped my top layer of nails off instead of soaking my nails so then my nails were sensitive and brittle for weeks following. So glad I didn't read the reviews before I came here! One of the best pedicures I have had ever. Was greeted right away and in a chair within a minute. My gal was great, her massages were the best. The salon is really pretty with comfy pedi chairs. This salon covers pedi bowls with disposable bags which is what I look for in a salon. I had a great experience with Helen. My powder dip was beautiful. She was fast and efficient. I had told her my last powder dip at a different salon was not good. It was so thick. She assured me that hers would not be thick and it wasn't. I loved it. Will return. read more

Well..... I used to go there all the time but now I don't because I went to get my nails done. For PROM!! and I want it a hombre French manicure. And I'm always nice and polite to coworkers there. And always let them do their job. And I couldn't hardly hear the guy because he had that mask on. And I stand up because I thought he was all done with my fingernails. And I was explaining that my mom will pay for my nails and he told me to "sit the fu*k back down!! Are you hearing voices in your head or something are you hallucinating.?" And all I said "Oh I'm sorry" very politely. So ever since I have never been there now I go to Springfield and they are very nice people. I went here once and asked for a simple acrylic set with polish. I was very excited and had a positive view on the business. Once I was sat down with one of the nail techs, it went awful. Almost the entire time they were on their phone talking to one of their friends. They would take breaks away from doing my nails to look at their phone...I felt ridiculous to have paid for the service. They had no care about the time and work that I was expecting. I still paid and tipped well, but I will never be back again. read more

I went here regularly at first, but the service has just went down hill in the last few months. The last time I had my nails done, they did such a poor job "hiding" the lines with my acrylic set. When I mentioned it, the girl just shrugged it off. My husband even noticed the poor job!! Today I had an appointment at 4:45 and waited 2o minutes. When the lady came up to our chairs in the waiting area, she took a family of three who came in 10 minutes after me!!!! What???? Then the manager took me back to a seat to get my nails filled and just left me to do another pedicure! This place is beautiful but they have the worst service. I will never set foot in there again. I went to Purlux for the first time today and had an AWFUL experience. First I asked for a tan color and they gave me pink. Second I asked for black polka dots and they did a circle. Last but not least I asked for a heart and they gave me a circle. In conclusion I had a bad experience and plan to keep going to my regular salon Alan's Nail Spa. read more

Got a Purlux's Choice Pedicure with gel polish. The water was cold. The man was extremely rough and unfriendly. It literally felt like torture and my foot is STILL bleeding. I wanted to stop midway through. The polish looked nothing like the swatch. VERY UNHAPPY. The staff was constantly telling "Alexa" to change the music---which went from house music to instrumental shit and was not relaxing at all. Never recommending this place to anyone. Worst nail salon experience ever. I've been to dozens of nail salons in several different cities, and this was the worst experience, and the worst nail job ever. I have small hands and feet, therefore, I have smaller nails. My nails are not short, but I wouldn't describe them as long. The male nail "artist"who did my toes pointed this out 5 times, and repeatedly said, "nails so small, so hard, so tough". I was then transferred to the front area of the salon for another nail "artist" to begin on my hands. She took one look at my fingers, shook her head and said "so small, so hard, so tough, not going to be good". I told her, "I know I have small nails, just do your best." The nail "artist" then bumped my foot under the table, ruining the still wet nail polish on my toes. She begins working on my nails, and then pauses to rattle off something in Thai to the other workers while she is shaking her head and pointing at my nails. I tell her again, "I know my nails are small, just do your best." She then tries to convince me that she wasn't talking about me, to no avail. She finishes my nails without another word. I get up to go pay the rediculous fee of $60 for the shittiest work I've ever seen, I realize that my toes are ruined, tell the nail artist, and she goes "it your fault." By now, I'm over it, and I realize there is no reasoning with any of these workers, and I just want to leave. I pay, give both "artists" tips, and another male nail artist (who never worked on my nails) yells, "wheres my tip? hahaha" ugh. Obviously, I was not in the mood.
