They just told us they can't find anybody to do the kitchen cabinet (this is after I threaten to sue them). I have outlets with no cover, furniture out of place and an unfinished closet with no hanging rods. Their organizing and prioritizing skills are very poor. Do not use them for Restoration!

Was hoping for the cost they would clean the floors better, and get into spaces more especially since there was nothing in the home in their way. I recently had the best service I could ever hope for using PuroClean company of North Little Rock. The problem I had was water damage from the central air conditioner being clogged and leaking, The carpet got soaked during the night and next morning the smell of wet carpet led me to investigate and I found the AC unit closet floor had about 2 inches of water on it which had seeped into the bedroom and soaked the carpet. When Mike Russell and Jeff of PuroClean showed up to assess the damage they found the walls had soaked up moisture also. All this had to be dried out. They came within a day or so and hooked up the drying machines and let them run for a couple of days. Mike Russell, whom I had never met, ended up being the kindest, most considerate, caring businessman/person I have ever met. He went WAY above and beyond in his work in my house and in his manner of speaking and doing business with me. His team member, Jeff was also very kind, efficient in his work, and sincere in his demeanor. I mention their sincerity with such emphasis because this is important to me. In the times we live in now, where mega corporations run so many of the businesses that we use in our daily lives, we have gotten used to being treated in a cold, heartless manner from these corporations that are all about profit. Mike and Jeff helped me feel a glimmer of hope that there are business people out there that are fair, trustworthy and truly care about their customers. Then it came time for the rebuild/ flooring part. They came out and took measurements the week after the remediation services were complete. He said the estimate would be turned into insurance by the end of the week. I never saw anything by the next week so I called a few times that week and sent a text. Never received an answer or call back. Insurance had still not received and estimate nor an update from them either. By the second week after calling again with no answer, I texted the first person I dealt with and explained what had been happening. I was then told "you should probably find another company. We are no longer Interested in the job." So they left me for over two weeks with no kitchen with me believing they were working on it. They ripped it all out so they knew I needed rebuilding asap, but they just let me sit. I don't suppose the owner would have ever called me back to let me know they were ghosting me. Horrible customer service and just not the way to treat people in general. Beware.

After getting the runaround with some other local companies, I found Lamar online. I called and they answered on the first ring and then showed up ON TIME that same day to give me a quote which was very fair. The communication is top notch - their automated system sends a text message when they are on their way - and every phone call you speak directly to the owner who will be doing your cleaning. I was very impressed with the care they took in cleaning our carpet. The furniture was moved and put on small styrofoam blocks and the 30+ year old carpet looked great once they were finished. I saw that they also offered dryer vent cleaning using a suction system and reluctantly had them do this for us, though I wasn't convinced it was necessary. They sent a video of the process and the incredible amount of lint that was pulled out of the vent - no wonder there are so many vent fires! I am so glad I added the dryer vent cleanout to the service. All in all a fantastic experience working with Lamar and I would recommend them to anyone.
